• Megan (10/5): Ahhh the Serenity - Amazing location, we stayed in The Sea Eagle unit, we had our own private beach access which was great for walks when the tide was out. We even got photos of the Aurora on our first night 💕 Kitchen was well facilitated with excellent sharp knives. Heating in each room. The bed was beautifully made up and was very comfy with great pillows. We will definitely come back here. The serenity is gold, just what we needed. Nothing. If I had to wish for an extra it would be to have a laundry facility.
• Samantha (9/5): We loved it there for a 5 night stay and would definitely go back - We loved how private, quiet and peaceful this place was at night… we could listen to the waves and just raise a blind and watch the sun come up without getting out of bed. We loved our view and that we could walk down to the water for an afternoon stroll. We thought the couch was comfortable, and everything was very clean. Our host was always available with any questions we had. The sheer number of pillows… like, options are great, but there was nowhere to put them and we had to sacrifice space to store them - space we wanted to use to unpack our things. The bathroom floor… I love the rock idea, but it’s not practical when the water doesn’t drain away, and getting wet feet when you get up multiple times a night to go to the bathroom isn’t the best as the toilet is a bit close to the shower area. The bathroom door was difficult to open and close at times.

Property is on a working farm, to hear the cows on nearby paddocks being herded in the morning was a treat. The bathroom is dreadful with the small river rocks/pebbles used in the flooring, very uncomfortable to walk on plus the floor looked and felt dirty. Shower water leaked under the screen which meant there was a puddle at the basin. There was no room to put any toiletries at the basin

• Carlene (10/5): Secluded perfect one night stay - Stunning place that was perfect for - a rainy cold afternoon so we could just take time to relax after lunch in town, we were able to cook dinner, be cozy and warm (with a view) and had everything we needed. Only a short drive away from town so we could go in for a walk and coffee the next morning. Think was mentioned previously about the water escaping into bathroom area from shower (possibly due to flooring type?) but we just kept the bath matt down and it certainly didn’t impact any part of our stay.

The aesthetics and design were perfect and created a relaxing, inviting space. There are other units not far away, but it felt very private and peaceful. The view was amazing and we loved watching the little wallabies right outside our window. Nothing!

• Chris (10/5): If we’d known how nice it was going to be staying here we would probably have booked for longer than 2 nights. - The condition of the property, cleanliness the furnishings and the facilities. The location was superb, only 5 minutes drive into Stanley. There are floor to ceiling views of the bay and access to a beautiful quiet beach via a small but tidy garden. There is no oven but that’s hardly a big deal, the hob and microwave were more than adequate.

Initially everything looked terrific, except the hand basin was impractical, couldn’t get your hands under the tap, also the shower base was slippery. Wind whistled in the front (loudly!), hard to get to sleep.

• Tony (9/5): Relaxing water views from rural location in quality accommodation with responsive friendly hosts. - Friendly accomodating & responsive hosts, fantastic location in rural setting but right on waters edge with relaxing water views, quality accommodation, gratis quality welcome gifts. We really enjoyed staying two nights and left wanting more. Good rain and wind protected outside sitting area with BBQ . 7 Minute drive to Stanley and a good base to explore the Tarkine Wildness area. We were on a road trip and would have liked a washer and dryer, or at minimum somewhere to hang up some hand washed essentials but in the end it worked out OK. A shared separate guest laundry area / facility would be sufficient.

• Victoria (10/5): Exceptional private studio lodge with views - Fabulous location, 4 minute drive from Stanley town and with an absolutely stunning deserted beach outlook, with plenty of wildlife to watch out for. The hosts had thought of everything, they texted details for arrival, upgraded us before arrival, and included some local cheese and wine on arrival. Extremely comfy bed. The TV had all the channels, there were plenty of blankets and beautiful bathroom products. The property is beautiful and the hosts made our stay extremely easy and welcoming This is a fully open plan layout so be aware the bathroom is not acoustically private, with no door, although it is out of sight (just an FYI). The hosts ask that seafood isn’t cooked here (super logical as the smell would have ruined the experience) but again be aware before arriving.
