Guest Reviews
- Cody (10/5): Excellent! - Very cosy! Lovely outdoor area, has everything you need. Was very clean but could do with a deep clean every now and than just to keep extra clean. Such as the bathroom.
- Michael (9/5): - Property was good value for money for our short stay Location was a little out of town.
- Deborah (10/5): Excellent - Cosy cottage, close to town. Had a great outdoor area
- Thomas Nicholls (10/5): - I loved the cute cosy cottage vibe. It still had 3 large bedrooms and big bathroom. But it was the little things from the good coffee and fridge full of milk and lots of info on local restaurants and sites. Nothing to write here.
- Belinda (8/5): - Every blanket or pillow smelt and felt like they were rarely washed or aired in any way. This was the only bad point I would point out as it was quite noticeable.
- Ferguson (10/5): A delightful comfortable homely Cottage - This delightful Cottage was so lovely and felt homely. Very comfortable 3 double bedrooms/beds and lounge room seating. 2 very pleasant outdoor areas. Lots of kitchen and bathroom inclusions which we appreciated. Our stay was perfect and we’ll definitely recommend to our family and friends. Thanks This is not a do not like comment but rather a couple of suggestions. A bedside lamp in the front left bedroom would be helpful. As the shower is over the bath a long safety rail under the window would be beneficial. The actual shower was very nice though.
- Elizabeth (10/5): A lovely cottage with beautiful outdoor space - We had a great overnight stay. House was lovely and very comfortable. Wonderful outdoor area and perfect for our puppy. We will definitely be back. Thank you
- Gosling (10/5): Wish we could have stayed longer - So cute and the beds were so comfy and it was the perfect outdoor area for our dogs
- Casey (10/5): - Absolutely wonderful place to stay so relaxing and cosy. The beds were extremely comfortable and the whole vibe is just amazing.
- Phillips (9/5): Please make the beds - It was a lovely home with great amenities and value for money. I was happy with all of it but will admit that the beds had not been changed from the previous booking and beds had been slept in. Otherwise I thoroughly enjoyed my time in this delightful house.
- Jay (10/5): Absolutely fantastic! - The house was well stocked with everything one needs for a weekend stay. It is close to town, has a nice yard, and is just a cute little place.
- James (8/5): -
- Brenda (9/5): - Beautifully decorated, perfect for a stopover
- Adam (5/5): Central location but underwhelming. - The location was central. The property was poorly presented. Old food left in the fridge from previous stays. We arrived late & left as early as we could.
- Mark (9/5): -
- Mo (10/5): Gorgeous little cottage, cozy and clean had all the little touches that made it feel like home. - Comfortable, cozy, very clean. Nothing
- vicky (10/5): Awsome stay thanks -
- Constance (10/5): Wonderful stay! - Great location near the centre of town, lovely house, great sized beds, nice outdoor area. All very clean and lovely touches like kids games, milk, and chilled water (it was very hot weather) provided.
- Michelle (9/5): Well appointed cottage close to town - Great little cottage with 3 double rooms, all well appointed. More room than we needed but would recommend to groups travelling together. Outdoor area was fabulous. Loved that we could stay with our little dog. The indoor kitchen eating area is small. Not a problem if small number of people and/or weather is good for outdoor dining (see note re fab outdoor area).
- brian (10/5): Close to town great value for money - The attention to small detail was a big factor I do a lot of travelling with my first aid business and you pick up on the extra yards people go to to make it an enjoyable experience . All was 100%
- John (9/5): -
- Jasmin (10/5): The perfect cosiest little cottage, we had a great stay! - Cosy, Clean and great location!
- Michelle (8/5): Clean, cosy and great secure outdoor exploring yard for my dogs - Very cosy, clean and good location to where we needed to be. It’s dog friendly and catered for the dogs needs eg, bowls and even an outdoor bed if required.

- Tony Gadate (10/5): - The coziness and the complete facility of the cottage. Not much to dislike
- Kar Mun (7/5): Comfortable cottage for a short stay in Orange - Well stocked kitchen and nice outdoor bbq area which would be perfect in summer. Rooms were clean and bedding were comfortable. Great heating system. Easy and flexible check in instructions. Plenty of street parking available on street next to house. Front rooms were facing main street which can be slightly noisy if you're a light sleeper. The kitchen and dining area was smaller than expected.
- Frank (9/5): Very pleasant and would recommend to anyone else as a comfortable place to stay - The property suited us very well, the fascilities were very good and everything worked well. The hard electric blankets and heavy doonas.
- Belinda (7/5): -
- Lisa (10/5): Perfect - Beautiful cozy stay. Perfect for our girls road trip.

- Tracey (10/5): A beautiful cottage to stay whilst in Orange. - Such a beautiful little cottage with everything you need and more. It was very comfortable and cosy. And great location. What I loved is that the hosts are very pet friendly. Our puppies had a ball in the backyard and I felt at ease knowing they were very welcome. Great communication and an easy check in process. A real bonus was it snowed ❄️ which made our weekend. Nothing. Everything was perfect 🤩
- White (8/5): Cozy, homely, warm, comfortable home away from home - Everything The shower head needs fixing - it is broken
- Denise (10/5): Will def be wanting to stay each time I return for my monthly visits this year - didn't use the breakfast items, just a quick cuppa and out the door in the morning. The items available for use were greatly appreciated though.
- Richard (10/5): A lovely, quaint cottage, prefect for staying with pets. - A lovely quaint cottage, with great facilities and covered outdoor area and fenced yard.
Close to services in town. Not the largest lounge area inside, but the outdoor area makes up for it.
- Neal (9/5): -

- John (9/5): Superb -
- Philip (9/5): Just an overnight stay in a very comfortable family home. Can thoroughly recommend the Icely cottage - The shower is in the bath, which is ok for abled body people, but my brother who has great difficulty walking could not raise his leg high enough to get into & out of the bath to have a shower.

- Ann (8/5): Very enjoyable. - It was perfect for our stay , very comfortable and clean , loved the outdoor areas . Toilet seat inside needed fixing .
- Melissa (7/5): Good -
- Michelle (8/5): Beautiful cottage! Suited us well. - The enclosed yard, back outdoor area and beautiful gardens. The beds were exceptionally comfortable. The lighting in the kitchen. Air conditioning was just one split system in the living area, and there was one pedestal fan in one bedroom. Indoor dining would be very cramped in Winter if you had 6 people staying. Distance from bedrooms to loo was not ideal for us.
- Catherine (10/5): Exceptional - Everything
- Dionne (10/5): Beautiful cosy cottage . Perfect for a weekend away - Beautiful cosy cottage . Comfortable beds and in a great location
- Sarah (10/5): It is a sweet little house with everything we needed for a night away. - The beds were very comfortable. The pillows were not very comfortable.
- Juric (9/5): Superb -
- Nadine (10/5): A beautiful home away from home, a perfect overnight stay for our family of four and our dogs, only wish we could have s - Beautifully decorated, clean as a whistle, smells divine as soon as you walk through the door. Comfy beds, 2 coffee machines! Milk in the fridge, tea, coffee & hot choc. Full laundry, fully fenced landscaped yard with 2 outdoor seating areas and a BBQ. Our dogs were welcome and there were even pet bowls and a dog bed. Everything you could possibly need and cafes & restaurants nearby. Nothing, just wish we could have stayed longer. Will definitely come back to this one
- Kylie (8/5): Very good -
- Sophie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rebecca (7/5): Good -
- Megan (10/5): Absolutely perfect couldn’t rate it highly enough - Awesome presentation easy to contact owner
- Crouchg (10/5): Home away from home -
- Tracy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Elizabeth (9/5): It was a really good experience enjoyed by all of is - The property was just the right size for our family.and had an extra toilet outside. It was a little difficult to put the keys back into the locked box
- Adams (8/5): Great comfy beds - Great value little house The dryer didn’t dry well. A few more champagne glasses and tea cups would be good
- Alan (10/5): Very enjoyable. - After our previous night's accommodation, everything was good!
Easy access to the main shopping street. The table/stool configuration was a bit of a trip hazard.
Face washers could have been provided.
- Steve (9/5): Superb -
- Kristina (10/5): The cottage was a great place to stay! - The location was good. The size of the cottage was great, and the back area was really nice. There was coffee, tea and hot chocolate for all of us, which was perfect since it was quite chilly outside.
- Holly (10/5): Exceptional -
- Catherine (8/5): Very good -
- Alice (7/5): Cute cottage garden and quaint home - Outdoor areas were lovely. Proximity to town was great and very quiet. Cute and quaint country cottage. Well appointed with kitchen and bathroom products. Shower/bath had lots of mould in grout and silicon, the loo hadn’t been cleaned and there was hair around the bathroom (walls/sink), there were also no face cloths, the pillows on the bed were very thin as were the doonas, which were not warm enough for an orange winter. It wasn’t freezing but was still very cold in the evening and we couldn’t get warm without putting our coats on the bed for added warmth. We were unable to locate additional warm blankets other than the throws.
The bathroom tap handle would come off when using it and the kitchen/dining table is a small, round metal table with stools which has been spray painted and is sticky in places which wouldn’t fit 6 comfortably while meals are being prepared and served.
For $350 a night I would expect a face cloth and season appropriate bedding.
- Jodi (9/5): Superb -
- Julie (9/5): Lovely Thankyou - A lovely place to stay and good tv choices and lovely thoughtful extras It was a very cold night and morning so an electric blanket to warm up the bed would be my only thought ( safety may be a factor) as the room heater clicks on and off with its thermostat, so I turned it off.
- Maree (8/5): Very good -
- Daniel (10/5): Perfection - All the little things, even hot chocolate for the kids 😊 Easy to find and access, warm and comfortable - will have to return to Orange just so we can stay again. Thanks!!!
- Chris (9/5): Superb -
- Zaid (9/5): Superb -
- Evan (9/5): Superb -
- Liv (9/5): Superb -
- Bharat (10/5): Exceptional -
- Simon (9/5): Superb -
- Hilder (10/5): Exceptional - Very impressed and with 5 minutes of where needed to be...couldn't find a pen to sign guest book but will certainly recommend and book again when returning later in year..many thanks Ros Liked everything
- Nathan (8/5): Cosy - Clean and cosy
- Lauren (10/5): Exceptional - The beds were really comfortable.
- Jane (10/5): Very happy with our stay will book again - Fabulous accommodation centrally located, clean and comfortable House had everything we needed. Lovely big, safe yard for our little dogs Nothing it was perfect
- Helene (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kerry (10/5): Wished we had reason to stay longer - The decor and the energy.
Loved loved loved the outdoor area. Price extremely reasonable . Linen wonderful and beds sooo comfortable Nothing … i really liked this place.
- Wendy (10/5): A wonderful house not far from town. Excellent for 4 adults and a dog - Beautiful presentation, comfortable beds, lovely outside area.
- Fellows (5/5): Had a bed to sleep in. - Had good weather. Upon arrival it was evident the home had just been fleshly cleaned and someone may have made a mistake when cleaning the carpets and they were still stropping wet and had a strong lemon scent. Cleaner/owner left fresh tea on sink bench with 2 x teabags. Old leftover rubbish on the back table in a brown paper bag. Seemed someone had to make a rush for the finish line to clean up and missed a few things.
Before we arrived we seen a car down the rd that had been side swiped and was basically a ride off. Early in the morning heard a car go past the house and i cant be for sure, but would have at least been doing 150km/h, maybe same person who swiped the other car down the street?
- Michelle (9/5): I would recommend this place to other travellers - It was a great cottage for us and our small dog plus in a handy location
- Priyanka (9/5): Great hosts and lovely cottage! - Cozy, comfortable, near and clean!
