Pat (7/5): We enjoyed our stay at Laurieton but the owners/ agents could make a little bit more effort to make - What breakfast there was NO breakfast left for us at all. Even no salt or pepper Make sure the keys to the garage door and the front door work easier. Also the washing washing machine left marks on our clothes so we had to wash them again when wegot back home. No extra toilet paper, tissues or paper hand towels were supplied The red garbage bin is NOT emptied on a Thursday even the locals don't put them out. But we are told that we will be penalised if we don't put it out. Only the yellow bin goes out on a Thursday
Kaz (7/5): Good - Convenient for our requirements - close to friends and family. Main bed was very comfortable. I used booking.com because I have only ever used them to travel both domestically and internationally. The local real estate agent is the primary booking agent, so my emails and messages were flooded with instructions from them direct. If anyone can over-complicate a booking, it is these guys. I also disliked immensely the fact that I needed to supply my own linen - this information is buried down with no pets. Imagine arriving from an overseas location to then turn around and shop for linen. While some supplies (eg gladwrap) were available (and appreciated), the scrooge like attitude towards toilet paper and dishwashing detergent (both liquid & tablets for the dishwasher) was pretty petty.
