• Fernand (9/5): Perfect driedaags verblijf om Helsinki te verkennen. - Sober, ruim, proper, rustig gelegen appartement. Dicht bij tram/bushalte, winkels, restaurants. Het ophalen van de sleutel was nogal complex, maar werd uitstekend begeleid door de host.

• Matvei (1/5): Worst hosting experience - Nothing Over several years of using Booking.com quite extensively, this is only the second time I have encountered an extremely problematic host. In my view, this one deserves an award for being the worst host I have ever dealt with. Check-in was stated as available until 00:00. We arrived in Helsinki and booked the apartment shortly before the check-in deadline. The host then messaged that she could not accommodate us and asked me to cancel the booking. She refused to cancel it herself, even though she knew that if I cancelled on my side, I would lose money. Next, the host demanded our photos “so that the person meeting you feels safer, because he is afraid.” We refused, as such a request is not part of Booking.com’s standard process and was not mentioned in the listing. After that, she said someone would meet us after all. The messaging took a significant amount of time, which was extremely unpleasant, as it was already late. A man met us and handed over the keys (it is unclear why a key safe/lockbox could not be used, as is usually the case). We did not speak with him — this is important. The apartment was a disappointment. In reality, it is one room separated by a curtain, yet the listing presented it as a two-room option. The overall condition of the apartment is poor; in my opinion, the photos do not show how run-down it is. Reviews indicate that other guests have also questioned the accuracy of the description. We specifically need two separate rooms (for sleeping), so we did not stay and left the next day, even though two nights had been paid for. We contacted Booking.com support. In response, the host claimed that we “spoke rudely” to the person who handed over the keys and that we “communicated inappropriately” with her, although in fact there was no communication with the man at all. She also referred to a “floor plan,” but it does not clearly show that this is one room rather than two, as stated in the listing details.

She promised a refund, but hasn't contacted me since. - According to the description of the apartment, it is a 2-bedroom apartment, but unfortunately it was only upon arrival that we discovered that one of the beds was in the kitchen. This would not have been a problem, but there is no door between the two "rooms". We were specifically looking for a two-bedroom apartment. - The pot we wanted to cook in was not washed.
• Weera (10/5): Exceptional - Thank you so much! The renter of the apartment was so nice and the apartment was very tidy when we arrived. Also, the apartment is roomy.

Sleeping with open windows did not cause any trouble, quiet street, occasional tram noise in the distance during its running schedule. However, public transport stop nearby is very convenient, 24h grocery store nearby as well. Window blinds were a bit broken, but otherwise, everything was good
• Riku (6/5): tolerable - Location good, key access good, clean. wc paper ran out (1 opened roll). fridge was quite loud, and there was no door between kitchen and rest of the apartment.
