Guest Reviews
- Chris (8/5): Very good -
- Graciela (4/5): Disappointing - This studio was a short walk from the tube station. Prior to getting there I never received an email or Whats app message telling me how to obtain the key to the room. The next door neighbor and one of the tenants tried to help us contact the management group, without success. We were outside the front door over an hour waiting for someone to help us. Finally, Carlos, the handyman showed up. He was willing to help us. He called his boss and miraculously got a hold of someone. He handed me his cell and the person I spoke to wanted proof of the confirmation. Carlos took a picture of it with his cell and sent it to her for me and then he retrieved the key for us. Thank you, Carlos, what a life saver!! The room did have clean linen and a full sized bed. It has older windows, without screens ; one was open when we finally got inside the room. There was a mop bucket full of dirty water in the kitchenette space. The shower did not have a shower curtain, it solely had a 2 foot section of plexi glass to separate it from the toilet. The floor of the shower was shared with the bathroom sink. We looked for hooks and a shower curtain, none were in the cupboards there. When the shower was used the floor by the toilet would get covered in a puddle of water. There was a watermark at the bottom of the bathroom wall, so apparently, water "puddling" has been an issue here before. The floor in the main room was dirty and on the second night there we battled ants on that floor. The back yard was overgrown with weeds and had a tub and broken down shed. The one cool thing about this stay was seeing a red fox waltz through this back yard.
- Gemma (1/5): Booking.com have also been unhelpful, so beware! - Absolutely appalling hosts!
Double booked our room, let the other people in early and have not refunded the money and stopped replying to messages This host knows they double booked and are aware that they need to refund the money, yet have so far given, lost messages, broken phones, holiday and not knowing how to issue a refund as excuses so far.

- Sochel (1/5): Either a scam or a very unwell old lady - I didn't actually get to stay there, so I didn't like anything about it There was no contact from the property owner, no informationabout check in. I tried to contact them via all the info on the profile, booking.com tried to email and call them, no response. The number on the profile is not for this property but a neighbour who tried to get hold of the owner, who allowed her to pass on the key safe number, but the owner had not left a key in the safe so I was homeless and alone in London. Booking.com say they will 'reallocate' you but they don't, they just cancelled the booking then you have to pay for a last minute room somewhere and they refund the price difference, but there was nowhere in this part of London available for less than £500 which obviously I don't have available so I was homeless and alone in London. I was really sad and scared, and absolutely furious.
- Kathryn (1/5): SCAM - DO NOT BOOK - NOTHING!! We were never given access codes, as promised, and couldn't access the property despite calling and messaging the property. Booking.com was unable to relocate us. We missed almost all of the gig we were there to see. DO NOT BOOK!!!!!!! THIS PLACE IS A SCAM.. I have asked Booking.com to remove this property from their books, but I wanted to leave this review to warn others until it is removed. DO NOT BOOK!!!!!!
- Simona (5/5): Passable - Place is at the really good location, <10min walk to metro. Nearby really good places to eat. The place itself was okay, good bed, spacious closet (if you need that kind of thing). This place is good for a short visit to London. If you value your personal space, this place is a challenge. Toilet and bathroom are separate, but you can hear everything that is happening in there, keep in my that the bed is right in front:D if you are traveling with your partner or your friend, consider this as this is a test for the relationship for sure:))
Had really hard time contacting the owner of the place as there were zero instruction on how to het into the apartment. Tried calling multiple times, writing on WhatsApp and through here. After a few hours of trying finally we got a message with just a code. No hellos no sorrys for miscommunication. So if you book this places dont wait until last moment to get instructions:)
- Demir (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bernardo (3/5): Staff doesn’t want to know if need anything, including keys to open the door - Location Staff didn’t give us instructions to do check in/ check out, I need to call booking to help me getting the keys and stayed outside for more than 1h until I have my keys
- Agnes (4/5): Disappointing - The apartment was okay and the location was good The customer service was very poor , the lady spoke to me in a very rude way. She could not understand me when I spoke to her in English or text her . He behaviour was very bad.
- Julie (1/5): Bad - Did not stay here as when we got to place somebody else had taken our room. That i already paid for. Everything
- Nicholas (1/5): Bad - Nothing They didn't send the key code and said the accommodation was unavailable as the cleaners hadn't turned up. Our car was locked in a car park se we had to spend £160 on uber to get home and back in the morning to collect the car.
We should get compensation, but I don't we will!
- Julie (7/5): Studio - Location very good. Ideal for Emirates transport links Studio was not ready when we arrived.
- Samantha (9/5): Superb - A great value for money room. Close to the tube station and Emirates stadium. Lovely staff
- Harshani (4/5): Disappointing - Bathroom is too small. I am very disappointed about the bathroom. There is no space even turn. No space to keep soap or any thing. Even no any hager to hang the towel.
Less ventilation in the toilet.
I had to lift my bag to upstairs by using very tiny staircase.
Little bit far away to the main bus route.
- Vincent (9/5): Superb -
- Jones (10/5): Amazing stay well cleaned and good for value - Amazing room chair a bit out dated and no WiFi or at least none I could find but was only there for psg game host was excellent and helpful I'd defoo stay here again probably one of the best beds slept in using booking.com There was nothing not to like
- Coscoran (8/5): Very good - Close proximity to the Emirates Nothing
- Suhaib (9/5): Everything is in place and it’s very nice place for me as an arsenal fan. Maggie is very helpful. -
- Lakshmi (7/5): Good -
- Marion (3/5): Would not recommend it - Location Entrance hall dirty. Room very very poor quality bathroom/toilet facilities poor. Chair in room disgusting all worm and smelly..
- Ciaran (8/5): Very good -
- David (6/5): Pleasant - Location. Good communication
Bed was comfy. A little tired. Chair had foam exposed and looked like it was from the tip!
Toilet was really tight getting in and using.
Had a student shared house feel rather than an apartment.
Pillows weren't the cleanest.
- Alina (6/5): It was okay for my short stay but nothing special. But since i didn’t need anything luxurious it was totally pleased wit - I really liked the location and that it was a self check-in The water in the shower always turned ice cold after 2 minutes and the heating couldn’t reach the bathroom so it was very cold in there in general
- Ttv (8/5): Very good -
- Spike (10/5): Exceptional -
- Richard (1/5): Grim - Nothing A grim room badly constructed poorly furnished with a smell of unwashed bodies. Did not feel safe or secure. Extremely poor value for money. Not recommended.
- Elad (8/5): Very good - Great location
Great service
- Ady (8/5): Very good -
- Georgia (7/5): Good -
- Jade (10/5): Very handy and practical good location and the staff were so helpful and accommodating, we will be back - The location was in a perfect location as we were travelling to go to emirates stadium for the arsenal match, Maggie and team were very helpful and accommodating and they really eased the stress of our journey as we were arriving early! We are already planning our next trip back at the end of September and will be booking here again for our stay!
- Linzi (1/5): Pretty Dire. Wouldn't recommend - The bed was comfortable
Close location to where I wanted to go The bathroom door was broken so houses opposite could see me on the toilet with curtains open. It's a nuisance to keep shutting the curtains especially when you need the toilet a lot !
Mold on windows
Windows at the top look like they have never been cleaned
Black bits coming from the water tap
The shower head had to be held to wash yourself as there was nothing holding it up
The shower ran cold quickly
Said it was 1st floor actually was 3rd not so good when you have a chronic illness and carrying a suitcase
- Ayla (6/5): Pleasant -
- Elena (3/5): Poor - Disappointing Stay - Only Good for Location and Price
I recently stayed at this bed and breakfast in London, and unfortunately, the only good things about it were the location and the price. However, these positives do not justify the poor condition of the apartment.
It seemed like the place hadn't been cleaned in a long time. We found hair on the pillowcases, the towels had an unpleasant odor, and the small kitchen was crusty and completely unusable. The environment was very humid and cold. We had left the heaters on in the hope of warming up the room, but when we returned, the heaters were turned off, and someone had moved our clothes and other belongings.
Also, the host answered to a message on the first day, then disappeared.
I would only recommend this place to those with very low expectations who need a cheap place to stay for the night. Otherwise, steer clear.
- Justyna (7/5): Good -
- Ivan (4/5): Disappointing - Convenient location, close to the tube and overground.
Quiet and fairly comfortable bed. Shower is a disgrace, not one warm shower in the 4 days we stayed. Except for a whole minute of boiling water in the first day. The place is super old and not well looked after, broken doors etc. The furniture is pretty awful.
- Lilia (8/5): Very good - The location is great very old furniture
- St. (3/5): Grim - Excellent location The place was very dirty and in dire need of renovation. One of the wardrobe doors was missing, the cupboards wouldn't stay shut, the bedding was so old and faded, i had the urge to buy new sheets as it felt gross to sleep on what's there. There was no towel but if there were, i would not have used it. When i opened the fridge, it had been off and the smell made me retch. There was an unpleasant smell in the room itself. The bathroom is so small that one can't close the door when using the sink as there is no space to bend down. The kitchen furniture is peeling, microwave is filthy. Despite the fantastic location, this place is way overpriced for what it is. One would've thought that the rates they charge could afford them to buy new bedding and replace that wardrobe, at the bottom of which i found a dubious bag of rags and a newspaper dated January 2024, it is now May. There was also stuff in the bathroom cabinet, which was left by previous guests. Do they even clean the rooms!? I can't think of a worse place I've ever stayed. If I could get a refund, I would - it was shocking.
- Ben (1/5): Bad -
- Olejár (7/5): We enjoyed the stay. - Location is superb if you plan to attend an Arsenal game like we did. I would expect the apartment to be better furnished for the prize we paid.
- Isabella (9/5): Comferable - Nice area close to station, clean Nothing
- Ying (7/5): Good - Good location The instruction/direction to the property is not very clear at the beginning. The complete instruction only came out before check out.
