Guest Reviews
- Shane (9/5): - Great location. The property was well maintained and had most things you needed. The host ensured, well in advance, that we had all the information needed to access the property.
- Wilson (10/5): -
- kate (9/5): Lovely home in delightful, tranquil spot - Tranquillity, location and small thoughtful roaches throughout the home. Host Edwin has made it so comfortable AND appropriate to its origins and setting. Small confusion over what home offered. All resolved through kindness of host.
- Amelia (8/5): - Cottage was comfortable with beautiful views. Coffee grounds were not provided for the coffee machine or and no information to tell me to bring my own. Information on accessing the property was also not updated.
- Norm (8/5): Very comfortable cottage in a great location on Bruny Island - Cosy cottage in a great location. Heating in kitchen did not function
- Hinako (10/5): A relaxing stay in the quiet hills of Bruny. It felt like stepping back into time with thoughtful decor and furniture. W - The tranquil location and cottage design made it a private and relaxing stay. There was a slight odour to the cottage when we arrived, noticeable in the hallway. After some airing out it was fine but it may be nice to have a candle to freshen up the space.
- Mark (9/5): A quiet, remote and enchanting spot with a charming 1862 cottage. - The location was exactly what I was after, quiet, remote and enchanting. The circa 1862 cottage is charming and has all the facilities that you need for a great stay. N/A
- Lindsay (8/5): Loved the house and setting but property seemed as though not used for a while and needs a clean. -
- Rory (10/5): -
- Anita (8/5): Nice - Convenients Coffee machine not working. No Internet
- Ben (10/5): Comfortable, well equipped and picturesque property in North Bruny. - Wonderful property, quiet, secluded and well-equipped. Up to date amenities, brilliant breakfast/coffee facilities and a picturesque deck with unexpectedly comfortable seating. The property features a clawfoot bathtub in a very modern bathroom nestled amongst the gorgeous timber floors and ceilings. All in all: a comfy bed, easy directions, great communication, and a beautiful property to meander over made for a fantastic stay during our two nights on Bruny Island. To clutch at straws - there was no aircon, but a ceiling fan in the bedroom sufficed. The house was very warm, which was not ideal during warm days. Further grass maintenance on the driveway would be appreciated after the rough drive to the property from the main road.
- Ned (10/5): Exceptional - Incredible setting. Fantastic little cottage.
- Sallyanne (9/5): A lovely place to spend a couple of quiet days - It was a lovely historic cottage in a beautiful location. Inside was very comfortable. We couldn’t get the wifi to work. It would have been nice if the outside deck had been swept.
- Alison (9/5): Superb -
- Simon (10/5): We are from a rural property in NZ, so loved the location - We loved the isolation, quiet, wallabies, and of course the cottage. Oozing character and history. Will be our first choice if we return to Bruny.
- Janet (10/5): Exceptional -
