• Skander Chardon (4/5): Deception - Location and cleanness the small double room doesn't have hot water. This wasn't written anywhere and has not specified by the hotel team during the check-in. We were asked for addition money to change room after long discussions which we declined.

• Gaëlle (7/5): Pratique pour une étape - Facile à trouver, sur la place principale de giron, juste à côté de l'église. Facile pour se balader. Très proche de l'aéroport. Les cloches sonnent à chaque messe, dès 5h45 le matin, puis 6h00. Grasse matinée impossible. De surcroît, le carillonneur tape sur ses cloches comme un forcené. Le son est affreux.

• Walker (8/5): We had a good stay and the location and the receptionist was helpful and friendly. - Location and the person in the reception was help and super friendly. The big room was beautiful and comfortable. We had two rooms. The little room was far too small. A bit uncomfortable. The breakfast was not good at all. We didn’t eat the second day.
• Sandra (7/5): - 1. Hicimos check in 7 de la noche más o menos, teníamos vuelo hoy a las 5 pm creo que pudieron ser algo lapsos con el check out. 2. Debería estar en la.aplicacion el valor total del alojamiento y no aparte el valor del "impuesto", genera falsa espectativa. 3. Por el costo del alojamiento debería por lo menos tener dispensador de agua o servicio de café gratuito en la mañana, es un plus que ofrecen en la mayoría de alojamientos. 4. Las bebidas de la maquina no son muy buenas adicional no tienen alternativa de leche, únicamente entera hoy en día en todas partes te ofrecen deslactosad. 5. El colchón muy duro.VS 6. No ofrecieron tapones para oídos por el tema de las campanas qué suenan desde las 5 am pero, se les acabaron y no nos los dieron. Sobrevalorado.

• Lopera Martínez (5/5): - Está muy bien ubicado y el staff es amable. La llave del lavamanos estaba malo y aunque en el hotel lo sabian y pudieron reubicarme en otra habitación, prefirieron enseñarme un truco para abrirla y cerrarla que hacía que se formara un desastre en el baño. El tv se encendió solo más de una vez en la madrugada porque al parecer también hay problemas con la electricidad. Por último, se escucha mucho de la habitación del lado (creo que era la cocina), lo que dificulta el descanso.

• Pablo (7/5): - Inslataciones bien conservadas con ese aspecto colonial, y la ubicion justo en frente del parque principal de giron En la puerta que de da la calle deben instalar un timbre, tienen uno en la puerta interna, pero en la noche despues de cierta hora cierran la puerta que da la calle y si no tienes a la mano un telefono para llamar, no hay formas de hacerle saber al trabajador de turno que estas afuera. Quiero resaltar la agilidad en la limpieza de las habitaciones.

• Fred (3/5): Has potential but certainly not worth the money... - The room and common spaces were very clean and tidy - The AC in my room was covered in mould on the inside. It also released a very chemical smell, which can be a sign of a leakage of the cooling liquid, which could be a health hazard. - The receptionist was making a lot of noise at night in front of my room by calling and playing video games, so I couldn't really rest - The cleaning staff in the mourning was super rude for no reason. I asked her something twice and she just ignored me. - There was no toilet paper in my room - The price is super unreasonable for what you get

• Billko (10/5): We stayed here to be close to the airport at the end of our trip to Santander but were surprised and really impressed by - Really friendly and helpful staff. Lovely clean property, spacious room with excellent bathroom and balcony. Great location on the main square and close to cafes, restaurants, etc, but still quiet. The skill level of the bell-ringers in the basilica could improve… 😉

• Karl (9/5): Comfortable and enjoyable stay - It's a beautiful clean nicely laid out hostel right in the square in Giron. My room had aircon and a fan and had a large comfortable bed. The shower had hot water. The open sitting area is large and comfortable. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended! the only thing that could have been improved was the shower rose was not good so the shower poured instead of showering

• Macgregor (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful hostel, friendly staff. Right now (August 2023) the square out front is under renovation, so the whole area is a construction zone. When the renovation is done the square will be beautiful I’m sure.

• Lianne (9/5): Superb - We chose to stay in Giron instead of Bucaramanga as we were flying to Cartagena the next day and we didn't get disappointed. Giron is a nice place (not that much to do, but fun to walk around for a day/night). Our room in trip monkey was very spacious and clean. The shower was very nice and warm and the staff was very welcoming. The only thing that we didn't like were the church bells. We woke up at 4 and it was very difficult to sleep with the noise afterwards. Breakfast was okay, not that special.

We stayed for one night but it might have been nicer for longer to use the pool etc The rooms are missing little things like bedside lamps, bathroom mat etc. which would make it a perfect stay. There was construction in front, which I think is temporary

• Aleksandra (10/5): One of the best hostels Ive stayed - We stayed first night in a small room that is very small and very warm so I recommend to upgrade to bigger one! Family room is huge, 2 large beds, many storage, big hot shower. Big mirrors which is rare in hostels! The all design is too class. They made great job converting old building to modern looking hostel. It was a bit warm but there are fans in each room. Very clean and you can use kitchen. Very nice staff! Highly recommended. I would stay again. Church bells at 4am 4:30am and 6am each day! And that the park is renovated but this is nothing to do with the hostel itself.

Price was discounted fairly to account for this distraction.
