• Georgi (2/5): Inhospitable - The location. The host’s behavior was extremely unprofessional and aggressive. I was repeatedly called and pressured over a minor situation, despite clearly explaining I was packing to leave early for a flight. The communication quickly became intrusive and stressful, with demands to “remove a guest immediately” even though no one was staying overnight at that point. I was effectively forced to check out early and could not use the remaining time I had already paid for. Overall, the experience felt hostile rather than hospitable.

Sabah erkenden çıkıp, sadece gece yatmaya gelen birileri için uygun ben en yukarı 5ci kattaydım, binanın yapısı öyle ki, merdivenlerden 5ci kata çıktığında düşebilirsin. Odadaki dolabın tamire ihtiyacı var, güçlü rüzgarda pencerenin sallandığını ve gelen sesten her an dağıla bileceğini düşünüyordun. Banyoda duş aldıktan sonra, tuvalet tarafına su toplanıyordu, mecbur peçete ile kendim temizliyodum. Diğer odaların hepsinde mutfağı vardı, ben bunu oraya gittiğimde haberim oldu. Sadece tuvalet kağıdı ve duş için şampuan ve duş jeli vardı, diğer şeylerin hiçbiri yoktu. Resepsion yoktu, sadece Salih beyle sağolsun ne zaman konuşsak yanıt veriyodu. Elektriğin gittiği zaman oldu, geceler en üst kat olduğu için kışın soğuk ola biliyor.

• Teo Juca (1/5): - Nothing I have never stayed in such a dirty place! I didn't think it existed! The pictures are irrelevant! Mold on the ceiling, all the cups are full of dirt! The area is very suspicious. You are accommodated in the basement, in a ghetto. The owner only wants cash, he doesn't give you a receipt for absolutely nothing. Everything is very suspicious. Be very careful! This is a scam! At some point the hot water and heat stopped completely. The mess is indescribable. Old and dirty sofa and bed. The bathroom is infernally dirty. Unfortunately, we stayed because we celebrated the new year in Istanbul, and there were no more accommodations. I do not recommend this accommodation to anyone, especially people with children. The room being in the basement, if you want to open the windows, everyone passing by on the street can see you. There is no kitchen, it is a place where they keep all the equipment. This scam will stop when they have many complaints. BE CAREFUL! DO NOT STAY HERE!

• Irina (10/5): Как в гостях у добрых друзей - Начну издалека. Так случилось, что нам пришлось бронировать новый отель прямо в день прилета в Стамбул. Мы очень нервничали, что отпуск может быть испорчен неприятностями с жильем, потому что хозяева забронированного ранее отеля совсем перестали выходить на связь и на Booking появилось много очень плохих отзывов. Однако, как только мы забронировали номер в Taksim Rain Suite, с нами связался менеджер отеля Салих, уточнил время нашего прибытия, обсудил детали заселения. В связи с задержкой самолета мы прибыли в отель на 3 часа позже, чем планировали. Нас ждали, несмотря на поздний час, моментально заселили. Все 8 дней проживания мы чувствовали себя как в гостях у добрых друзей. Салих был на связи 24/7, реагировал моментально на любую просьбу, был очень терпелив и дружелюбен. Были моменты, когда мы даже не просили что-то сделать, но получали заботу. Например: Салих заметил, что мы вместо одной подушки поставили декоративную (подушка на кровати мужу была немного большеватой) и когда мы вернулись вечером с прогулки, мы увидели, что подушку поменяли на более мягкую и размером поменьше. У мужа был день рождения, так Салих вечером принес торт со свечами. Это было очень неожиданно и очень-очень мило))) Такую заботу о гостях я не встречала ни в одном отеле. Спасибо большое за прекрасные эмоции и желаем процветания Вашему бизнесу!!! может быть немножко добавить посуды на кухне)))

• K. (7/5): Good for a simple 2-3 night stay. - The main advantage of this guest house is its location. Nearby is a large transport hub (Taksim square) with various types of transport. The HVIST shuttle stop from the airport is also nearby. There is a 24-hour store nearby with a good selection of groceries. The manager, Mr. Sukru, is quite nice and sociable, although he does not speak English well, but we understood each other. Furniture, dishes and fixtures are in quite dilapidated condition. Cleaning is done, but not thoroughly enough. Quite dusty, although this is not surprising for a big city. But a vacuum cleaner would definitely be nice: I kept finding long black hairs everywhere. And yes: I agree with previous comments - can say that Wi-Fi almost does not work. The connection is extremely weak, sometimes not even enough to receive and send text messages, not to mention making calls or sending work files.

On checkout I forgot a camera and some electronics in the suite, the honest owner kept them until I went took them back👌🏻.

More than enough for one person, can be easily booked for 2 Wish it to be more clean. I washed the floor and didn't even try to manage with some plates. You can not cook if you wish (not my kind of fun but can be important). And wifi was extremly slow

He was in continues contact with me to know about the time of my arrival. Was so kind to provide an extra blanket when we asked for one later at night. The room was not as clean as it should be, the sheets had stains on . The stove in the kitchen was rusty and all the plates were dusty and dirty . The furniture was very old and worn out. There was bad smell coming out of the bathroom. The room was very cold at night even with heating on.

• Margarita (8/5): Very good - Although the place doesn't have an elevator (it's an old building with stairs), the owner/staff (?) helped with the suitcase even though I arrived at midnight and then when I checked out. That really won me over. The city view out of the bedroom window was a pleasant surprise. In general the place is fine. I didn't manage to close the widow completely in the shower, maybe they could fix that.

• Suresh (4/5): Ok stay for budget travellers - It was a ok stay. Room was in the top most floor and the building had no elevator. The hotel was in a location a bit away inside and hence the price. The reception and the staff were very nice. If you are on a budget you can stay here, if not I would not.

Poor lightning, high humidity, room with no window. Scarcity of power outlets. For 55 euro per nights awful quality/price ratio.

He gave us clean towels, his own Metro card for easy access to transport and converter switch without charging any extra money which is really great. He's a great guy. The stairs are very long. My room was on 5th floor but however for a short stay it's manageable.

The host Sukri was very nice person and helped us. I will come again in this apartment on my next trip to Istanbul. It could have more kitchen equipment.
