• Natalie (7/5): Great location, pay in advance if you can to avoid an extra stop - We liked the location. Walking distance to many things we wanted to do in the city. The washer in the unit was very convenient and nice to have and the space was large. Overall the apartment felt very private and was nice to have during our stay. It’s right next to the major intersection so be warned there’s a lot of noise from traffic all night. Also, it’s a bit tricky to find. We found it inconvenient to have to walk 10 minutes to their cafe to pay for our stay, so maybe pay through the website as an option if possible.

• Sarah (10/5): Wonderful stay in the historic heart of Saigon - Song Anh Pasteur is located right in the bustling heart of Ho Chi Minh City, a stone's throw away from all the main attractions. The room is spacious and beautifully furnished with bamboo, with a nice outdoor terrace overlooking the main street. It also had a nice seating area to do work. The room had all the amenities you would need - the soap and shampoo were of very high quality, which is nice. Definitely my first choice if I return. As other reviews have mentioned, the noise from the traffic on the main street does get quite loud from the bedroom - light sleepers might need earplugs. Otherwise, the accommodation is perfect.

• Thijs (9/5): Superb - Nicely decorated apartment in a great location. It’s in the middle of the city center. Room is spacious and clean. Water tap is really convenient. Plenty of towels for several days. There was a leak from the washing machine which flooded the toilet, but is was fixed quickly. The noise and lights from the street are obvious downsides, but the earplugs helped. We missed hot water in the kitchen to wash dishes.

• Dickson (10/5): Very spacious, well furnished apartment in a great central location! - The property is in an excellent central location in Ho Chi Minh City right beside Saigon Centre and an old school ice cream shop below, Bach Dang Ice Cream! The apartment is very well furnished and has wonderful decorations all over. It has a balcony which makes for great street watching or even photography (as I did). It even comes with a washing machine, which came in very handy! It is near to most of the attractions in District 1 within walking distance, such as Nguyễn Huệ Boulevard and the Ho Chi Minh City Opera House for instance. Many restaurants and shops are also nearby as well. I do actually recommend visiting their Song Anh Patisserie & Cafe for their delicious pastries at their other property just a few minutes of a Grab ride away! The hosts, Norbert & Trang, are very friendly and quick to respond to any enquiries that I had over WhatsApp. Overall, this has to be one of the best properties that I have stayed in so far and would definitely come back and choose this property again if I ever have the chance to return to Ho Chi Minh City! As other reviewers may have already mentioned previously, there is usually a fair bit of traffic noise due to the property being right beside a major traffic junction. This may affect light sleepers at night but the hosts have very nicely provided earplugs which helps to mitigate most of the noise.
• Gheorghiu (9/5): Location location location - Location! And beside that this apartment is huge and very clean, it has 2 balconies, 1 bedroom, 1 large living room and kitchen, shower room and toilet room. With all facilities you need: fridge, TV, wifi, 2 AC, washing machine, stove, microwave, hair drier, iron and a water filter!!! The apartment is very clean and cleaning services are offered plus the host is very responsive and helpful There is a lot of noise from the bussy street 24h. If you are a light sleeper this is not ideal
• Mary (10/5): Perfect base in Saigon! - Everything! I’ve already referred this accommodation to friends and family, and will try to continue to use this for future stays. The doorman wasn’t pleased about my late night arrival one night (after midnight) but I’m sure it’s only to ensure safety for all - not within apartment owners’ control either so it’s still very much worth staying here.
• Hadiya (10/5): Great location, amenities, highly recommend - The location is truly excellent, and building itself is easy to find too. Due to the central location, there is some noise but a pair of earplugs solves the problem, and I slept well throughout the stay. Interior of the room is beautiful and amenities are stocked well. Kitchen utensils and some supplies are also available which was helpful. Host is kind and prompt with replies. Would highly recommend to anybody considering a stay here!
• Inoke (10/5): I will most definitely be booking here again if I was visiting Ho Chi Minh - From the security systems in place, down to the cleanliness this property is the definition of home away from home. The benefits of doing your own laundry and having such amazing space really puts your mind at ease. The property manager being hyper responsive with any troubles along the way. I truely can’t think of any better place to stay in district one but here. All the photos are not fake or photo shopped, take a chance with this place and they will rock your socks off. Nothing but love was put into this studio. Can’t be helped by the property, but beware of the building door man as he may be grumpy from time to time.

• Mandy (10/5): Gorgeous, well located apartment in HCMC - From the moment I booked, the hosts were lovely in communicating check-in procedure and location. On the day, they allowed me to check-in early after my flight which was much appreciated. The apartment was gorgeous. Separate bedroom with comfortable bed, nice bathroom (separate toilet), balcony overlooking busy intersection (much to see!) and close to shops, restaurants, malls, and easy walking to tourist attractions. They also had filtered water on tap which was great. Everything was good!

Nobert is a lovely host. He made sure to accommodate for our check in and check out times and was super prompt over WhatsApp. A lovely place if you're looking to enjoy a staycation/holiday in HCMC.

The property is very central to a lot of the places we were keen to visit, so was very convenient for us. We found the hosts to be very quick to communicate with us and helpful.

We felt like Saigonese insiders staying in such a beautiful apartment located in a historical building just a stone throw away from all the District 1 sights! We'll be back and we'll pick the same apartment again! The traffic noise may bother light sleepers but just bring ear plugs!

The listing is new so everything was clean and fully stocked. The only thing missing was a hairdryer but other than that we were supplied with everything we needed.
