Annette (9/5): Lovely villa, gorgeous outlook, comfortable and well appointed - We stayed in Shiraz. Loved the outlook, from the mountains to the vines, dams, trees, birds, kangas and wallabies, it was beautiful. We appreciated the simple colour pallet, 2 couches, full sized fridge, fireplace, the blackout blinds, fans & aircon. And of course that outlook, without even getting out of bed was simply stunning. The concept and execution of the windows opposite the bed is a real winner. The shower has heaps of room for 2, but sadly only a single shower head. This would be a suggested improvement but is not a biggie. Would have liked an alternative to the doona, as it got a bit warm. A plain blanket would have been appreciated. We found 2 of the chairs were obviously broken, and there was winery information in the room that was clearly well out of date. The booking and "check in" procedures are excessively rigorous and, we felt, invasive. The booking management company seems to have a one size fits all and don't all us we'll call you approach, which is somewhat off-putting. Having said that, when the check in code failed to arrive, we got good help. It didn't detract from the pleasure of our stay.
