Guest Reviews
- Emma (1/5): DON'T STAY HERE - Nothing, was the worst place I've ever stayed. The stairs are incredibly unsafe. Do not stay here if travelling with someone older or with any disabilities.
The lights didn't work. The TV didn't work. There were bugs everywhere and was not clean.
No toiletries supplied.
We cancelled our 3 day stay and left after one night. Literally the worst place I've ever been.
- Davey (5/5): It was just ok l won't book it again - The code to get into the place need to come earlier to get in. the TV mite need new batteries in the remote wouldn't turn off all change channels easily the lip coming out of the single bed room is not good trip on it a few times could have been a bigger vanity for a family in bathroom and a toilet roll handle would have been nice
- Rebecca (7/5): Beautiful views from the house. - Location was great, very near Hobart city centre. Views of Mt Wellington and the city at night were lovely. The house itself was quaint, it had all the facilities needed. The street was quiet. House is on a very steep section of the street. We had to park in the street, which was very narrow as everyone else does the same thing. Whilst there us parking, our car was too big and as it's a rental we were extra careful about the potential for damaging the vehicle.
The house itself has a very steep and narrow staircase without proper banisters. For a family with older people and a person with disabilities this caused no end of issues, not just attempting to lug suitcases up but also at night as we have to navigate the stairs to go to the toilet. I would not have booked the place if I had known. The cleanliness of the house was not up to our standard. The stove top needed a good clean as did the waste bin otherwise it was tidy.
- Rebecca (10/5): Amazing location with stunning views - Amazing location with stunning views. Hobart CBD a couple of kilometres away and a few local shops close by. Mount Wellington a short drive away. Small garden out the back which catches the sun during the day. House and amenities quite basic but if you're on a budget it's a great choice as it works out much cheaper than staying in hotels, especially if you're travelling in a group. I liked everything, but just to note the bathroom is downstairs at the back of the house, and the stairs to the first floor bedrooms are quite steep. Possibly not a suitable place for those with mobility or continence problems.

- vansy (8/5): - It convenien to everything I like to suggest to separate room for the shower and the toilet
- Ramya Keerthy (5/5): Good location, but would go for a different place for the price given an option - The house is in a good location, clean with pretty views. We were given all the mentioned amenities. Comes with a parking space, which saved us from parking on slopey streets. The stairs are a tripping hazard and would not be suitable for people prone to tripping. The house is in general uncomformatble for larger groups with the bathroom located way back with no lock to the door. The beds are unstable and feel like they would break with a slightest movement. There's aircon in the hallway only, but my room had heater.

- Fady (7/5): Home away from home. - Homely, own carport and backyard. Clean. close to everything. Awesome views. We even saw wallabies hopping by. Ample kitchen and bathroom products. Stairs were narrow inside and outside the accomodation. The walls are thin where you can hear the neighbours. Free-to-air TV didn't work.
- Na (9/5): Satisfied stay overall . Recommended who are in budget and want quiet place to stay - Good location , quiet neighbourhood, have all basic facilities to prepare good meal , good for budget.plenty restaurants around . They take my last minute booking requests. Perhaps didn’t well prepare when I arrived but what else I can I asked for I book
the accommodation last minute 7:40 when I fly in from
Sydney and I have the place 10 pm . they organised more cleaning , bedsheets following morning ! I am very grateful their help . They have stairs to up stairs for all rooms and bathroom , toilet down stairs which is not kids or older ppl friendly . When you have to wake up in the middle of the night for bathroom.
- James (9/5): Superb -
- Melissa (7/5): Good -
- Eric (7/5): Good - Beds good No rail top of steep stairs. No toilet upstairs.
- Wen-chu (9/5): Recommended for travelers who want to save on a budget - beautiful landscape! The bathroom also has heat lamps.
Recommended for travelers who want to save on a budget street lanes parking requires careful attention Avoid scratching other vehicles
No recycling bins provided. Recycling resulting from self-cooking is a burden.
For example: milk and Coke bottles, corn or tuna cans, grocery wrapping paper, small boxes, etc.
- Alex (8/5): Very good -
- Sidney (10/5): Great stay - Very friendly host, we were able to check-in a early. The accomodation was very clean and the beds comfortable.
