• Adam (5/5): Location is the only advantage - Location is really good, close to the tube and buses. Nice view from the balcony. Super uncomfortable beds. Broken table and a lot of small things also broken.

We had no choice but to find alternative accommodation in London which was expensive and stressful. Even booking.com couldn’t help on the day and we had a festival to attend so just made arrangements for different accommodation on our own. Liked kitchen area if had more cookware/dishes/glasses Retrieval of keys was ridiculous, felt very sketch. many blocks away with luggage. Apartment was described as having a bedroom, and living room. It did not. No way for bedding or pillows for "couch" that was sprung.

• Nur (6/5): Pleasant - Its proximity to where we needed to go and convenience. The place was clean. Some things were broken and left there like the whole curtain was broken and it was just on the floor so the window was open for public to see. It wasn’t stated before booking that the key has to be taken and put back in a place that was 15-20 mins away and as a pregnant woman with a toddler it was not an easy thing to do and i could have avoided it if i knew about this.
• Julia (3/5): Needs some updates - Location was great The kitchen sink was blocked, the taps were loose. Trying to get into the shower was really awkward. The key pick up was way too far away. Some simple updates would make this a great spot but it really is a very small room and really only for two people.

The left-hand side neighbour is very nosy and if you stand in the balcony and talking to your partner he will keep coming out and say can you please keep your voice down on the road pollution sound? I reckon would be more louder than me talking to my partner as I will not talk to my partner in loud voice.

• Xiaorui (1/5): Please don't choose this apartment and I need Booking to strengthen management to this property. - Noting!!! I think Booking needs to be taken seriously about this apartment! Firstly, this apartment is very dirty. Hair everywhere on and in the mattress, bedding, floor etc.. There are still yellow and black marks on the towel. No shampoo, only body wash! There is a lot of dust on the kitchen utensils. Secondly, it asked the customer to walk 10 minutes to a supermarket to pick up the key. It takes 20 minutes to go back and forth. When checking out, you need another 20 minutes to return the key. Thirdly, it definitely doesn't hold 4 people like the describes. The sofa bed is badly dented. The mattress also does not match the sofa bed. In this tiny room, it is almost impossible to move the sofa bed so that the mattress can be put on the top of sofa bed. The fourth point. no Wifi provided.

Nowhere on the property listing does it advise that keys need to be collected and returned to a location 10 minutes from the property. This information was only shared after booking and prior to check-in, at which point it was too late to cancel so there was no choice but to accept it! The property listing actually states that there is a 24-hour manned reception, which is extremely misleading!! Yes, there is someone sat at a desk in the reception area of the building - but they can't help at all with checking in or out! Luckily, I had enough time to collect and return the keys, but had I not, this would have been a real issue.

• Aqib (1/5): Rubbish. - Location Do not book this property, it’s states one bedroom apartment with separate living room and separate bedroom but it is a tiny studio. Also, I had someone in the room as I checked in with my family!! claiming to be the maintenance man, fixing a broken cupboard. No notifications, No message just a stranger in the room. Very bad experience. Have made a complaint to booking.com!!

• Farah (3/5): Disappointing - The location was very good. The host’s communication was incredibly poor. I would ask questions and not get responses either at all or until much later. I asked the host where the building was and she didn’t reply to me. I also later tried to call the host to ask about the stove and I didn’t get any response. Additionally, you have to pick up the house keys from a corner shop not near the building. And when you leave, you have to drop the keys back off to that corner shop. All in all just very inconvenient. The property itself was very unclean. The dishwasher was full to the brim with dirty dishes. The stove was dirty. The pots and pans in the cupboard also very dirty. The floor was carpeted and full of hair. In the bathroom, there was a cabinet just above the toilet that was broken and couldn’t close. The soap bottle in the bathroom was basically finished but you could tell that water had been put in the bottle to make it look fuller. Just a very disappointing stay.
• Michail (4/5): Meh.. - The view, the bed. Our stay at this property was highly disappointing from start to finish. The check-in time was set for 4 PM, which is already quite late. On top of that, the host was completely unresponsive to messages and phone calls until 15 minutes before check-in time. This left us stranded as we tried to find the building using outdated instructions on the website, which were wrong. We had to ask people and shops in the area for directions. When the host finally answered, they directed us to pick up the keys from a shop 15 minutes away—something that should have been communicated in advance. To make matters worse, the apartment was poorly prepared. There were only three small towels, clearly meant for the face, and none of the standard body towels you’d expect.no shampoos or shower gel just a liquid hand soap. While the hosts eventually brought more towels, this should have been handled before our arrival. Additionally, there was no bedding for the third person, despite it being advertised for three guests. The sofa, which was meant to be a sleeping option, was broken and completely unusable as it sinks in the middle. The lack of communication, the disorganized check-in process, and the poor state of the apartment made this an incredibly frustrating experience. I would strongly advise against booking this property.

• Patricia (5/5): Disappointed - The apartment is very close to the transports and center. The place to collect and return the key is a 20 minute walk from the apartment. There weren't enough bedding sheets or duvets available to do the sofa bed.
• Diamond (4/5): The location was good in a nice area but I didn’t like a few things - The location and the fact it had a balcony The curtain for the door was very dogey the tap In kitchen was dogey safety lock on front door was broken door still locks as usual but just weird to have a safety lock with no lock, the 2 towels that was left wasn’t big enough for a bigger person like myself and the maid came and let herself into the room to get fresh bedding for another room !

• Lee (10/5): Exceptional - I had an appointment at the US Embassy the following morning. St George studios apartment was ideal. With parking onsite for me as I travelled down from Leeds in my car. The apartment was literally a 4 minute walk from the embassy. Great location with restaurants and a gym directly under the complex. Apartment was lovely with everything you would need. I would definitely stay again.

Taps on the kitchen are very louse .crake tiles...All properly need a good clean, carpets...

The view of the river and general ambiance of the location was worth it Getting to the property to learn that I had to take a 10mins walk to get the keys, on a wet evening after travelling for 3hours, was not a happy experience. I think you might want to consider an alternative key arrangement
• Clair (6/5): Clean but tired and worn. - Was ideal in theory, a self-catering hotel room equivalent. Was tired and worn, carpet frayed at edges, kept poking our feet on the gripper rods. Not enough cutlery and crockery for a 4-person self-catering accommodation, no frying pan.
• Julie (1/5): I would avoid booking this apartment as it is very neglected, dirty and in a poor state of repair - The location was why I chose this property as it was relatively close to my early morning meeting The property was dirty and in a state of disrepair. The curtains just about hung on to the curtain rail with very few hooks. The carpets and furniture were dirty, with bits all over the floor showing it hadn’t been hovered. The two wardrobes contained what looked like the previous bedding removed and screwed up. The kitchen sink taps literally nearly came off. The taps and metal in the bathroom were full of limescale. The toilet brush was revolting but I noticed a second one in a ‘cleaning cupboard’ which clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a while. There was a door into a cabinet behind the toilet which wouldn’t close and jutted out into the back of anyone using the toilet. The carpets were badly frayed at the edges as well as looking grubby. The sofa was stained. The bedding looked washed but not ironed. There were a number of insect repellent sachets around the property which was concerning.
• Catherine (4/5): Disappointing - View from the appointment was good Contact with owner / manager not great, reported sink in the bathroom was blocked on the first night. It was still blocked on departure. The kitchen sink was very wobbly also. Had to walk about 15 / 20 mins to get and return the key of the apartment to a shop. We were assured we could 'drop' our bags until we could check in. As our flight was quiet early, However this wasn't possible. Really got our short stay in London off to a bad start. There were 4 people in our party, definitely wouldn't recommend this apartment for any more than 2. Well i really wouldn't recommend this appointment at all.

We found only one clean towel. We tried to contact the owner to get the necessary items, but it was unsuccessful. The kitchen lacked enough dishes for three people.

• Joanna (4/5): Great location but tatty - and stressful to check in - Location was excellent for Battersea/US Embassy and around, walkable to south bank etc. parking on site (pay separately, it’s a parking garage). View of the Thames and Battersea from the balcony. We didn’t get an actual address or instructions to how to get in until about 15 mins before arrival despite asking numerous times for details. You have to pick up and drop the key off at a corner shop 15 minutes walk away which is very inconvenient especially if you have kids with you. It is not a one bedroom flat, it’s a studio (one room with kitchen, sofa bed (very uncomfortable!) and double bed all in). Bathroom sink didn’t drain, no plug for the bath, kitchen tap seems ready to fall off, no bed linen for the sofa bed- there was a cupboard full of linen but all thrown in so I think it was dirty. We shared the bedding off the bed with our kids on the sofa. All in all it looks nice at first glance but disappointing- the whole rigmarole of getting hold of the key was enough to put us off, and we’re not normally too fussy. It is relatively cheap though- now we know why
• Derrick (5/5): Good location but ! - location was excellent when you actually got in but the key pick up was over 15 minute walk. not ideal after a long journey and in the dark.bed and bedding clean and very comfortable. room description poor as all beds in one room.sinks and fridge dirty and carpets worn, you are wary to use kitchen tap as it flops all over and then both kitchen and bathroom sinks backup and take 10 to 15 minutes to drain. it looks good for storage with 2 big wardrobes but they are full of bedding storage and you struggle to hang clothes.kitchen pans in bad state, lack of instructions for turning on appliances or heating and no hairdryer.

• Karolina (7/5): Studio flat - The host was kind and responsive. The place was fairly clean. Had everything you need. Location is great. Missing a duvet cover for the sofa bed. The cupboard in the bathroom won't close. But the most surprising was that the place is not one bedroom as stated in the advertisement but actually it's a studio flat. That made our staying uncomfortable.

Bed was uncomfortable. Very noisy (from road traffic) if the balcony door is open at night. Previous guests dirty towels and bedding left in the cupboards. Cleanliness of property was below expectation.

Underground nearby. The host did not respond to our messages. WiFi was connecting but no Internet. The kitchen is just half usable: there are no single pot or pan, the oven was not working. We could not fix any problem because the host did not respond. Noisy when need to open window. Information how to check in was 15 min late, and the host did not answer the phone. The host did not want to share it in advance. The couch is not comfortable for sleeping of one person and I doubt that two can sleep on it at the same time.

• Elizabeth (9/5): All in all, a great place to stay and an absolute bargain! Would recommend!! - Fantastic value for money, especially as 4 of us stayed in the room so could split the cost, but even as a lone traveller this was well costed. Nice location with a few local, riverside eateries, plus an easy tube ride to central London. Not just a bedroom, but also having a kitchen area and a small balcony was great compared to other stays in hotels where only a bedroom/bathroom is available. For a busy area, there wasn't too much noise overnight, and closing the balcony blocked out the majority anyway. Easy to fold out sofa bed for use overnight. 4 Pillows total, but they were so plush that each person only needed 1 anyway! Shower/bath was easy to use and very large if you wanted to have a bath to reax in the evening. Also, plenty of plug sockets to charge everyone's devices overnight. (Sorry for blurry photos, as tried to screenshot from the video walkaround my partner did, as I forgot to take any.) Slight confusion trying to get the key/booking, which was rectified by getting in touch with the owner who explained in a message, followed by a map showing the location of the building. This wasn't an issue as the weather was delightful, but the slight delay (about 15minutes from first calling) to then get the map could be worse in rain/cold. A few small spikey areas in the apartment where the carpet has come away slightly, but easily avoided anyway.

Near Vauxhall tube station. Very clean. Had everything we needed. Communication with the host was extremely poor - before the visit and at check in time. We arrived and still had no check in information and they took time to respond. They didn’t answer the phone. I thought we were going to be stranded with nowhere to stay. Got information, which turned out to be incorrect and we couldn’t get in. After more waiting we were finally sent correct details. Very stressful. Couldn’t check in til 5pm.

• Niall (6/5): This place was a great price for the location and the flat was to a pretty high standard, with a few updates it could be - Clean, bed was nice and comfortable, good quality sheets and pillows, modern flat with good facilities and location was really nice. Owner gave very vague directions for how to find the property in a bit of a maze of similar properties, took us a while to find it. Owner then didn’t pick up his phone to allow us to enter the building, luckily the concierge believed us and let us gain entry. Bed was v comfortable but I was on the couch which was basically a torture device, no sheets left out for it either. No shampoo for the shower so had to wash hair with hand soap! Towels were super cheap and thin.
• Jane (10/5): Beautiful flat. Brilliant location ❤️ - Absolutely gorgeous little flat. View beautiful from the balcony. Lovely part of the city. Location fabulous 👌 Nothing to dislike. When in London again, I would defo be booking this. Everything you need in a beautiful flat. The only thing is I found it difficult to find, but the owner soon sorted that out. Now I know exactly where it is! Wish it was a longer stay but only for one night to visit the US embassy first thing in the morning. 10/10.

• Steven (4/5): Great apartment but tough getting the key. - The apartment was very nice. Everything seemed to be at a high standard. Nice view. No noise from neighbours apart from normal London street noise which was knocked down by decent windows / doors. Getting the keys was a serious struggle. We were given the name of the building and instructions for an intercom. It would be nice if there were more hints about how to find the named building which was an element in a large complex. A helpful parking garage employee directed us outside, around 2 corners, past the Tesco Extra to a concierge office. The concierge studied the instructions provided and walked us several minutes through pathways and up steps to the front door of the building. From that point everything fell into place.
• Lindsay (8/5): Very good - Great location, convenient to the tube. Uncomfortable bed, hard to find building as Google maps does not send you the right direction to find the door or the entrance to the building complex.
