Fabi (10/5): ¡Excelente lugar, que recomendaría! Y sin duda alguna volvería - Me gustó mucho el lugar, muy céntrico y a lo largo del camino hacia la casa Black Chaini puedes encontrar ovejas, capibaras entre otros animales. Excelente vista! No hay comentarios negativos

Vernon (10/5): - Muy lindo lugar rodeado de bosque. Cerca del centro de Puerto Viejo, pero sin el ruido del centro. El personal muy amable. Todo bien
Emily (10/5): Peaceful location - We loved our stay here - there are only a few villas and it's away from the main area so very quiet and peaceful. The hosts were so kind and welcoming and the room had everything we needed including cooking facilities. The villa is probably a 10 minute walk to town down a very quiet, unlit road. Not a bad thing but just to be aware off if you don't have a car. Can rent scooters and bikes in town
Myriam (10/5): Exceptional - We passed 5 nights here in this little heaven. The room was super clean and well equipped. It had such a charmed with the pool and the surrounded gardens. Even if it was a 20 minutes walk from downtown, it made it super quiet and I would go back there anytime. The host was SO friendly too. I would recommend to anyone who want peace and quiet in Puerto Viejo. Everything was perfect.
Ron (6/5): We enjoyed overall - We loved the peacefulness of the property. We stayed a week. Half the time, we had the place to ourselves. It was very safe. Beautiful grounds. Host was great. NO hot/warm water. Like they don't have it. I was a bit yucked out for the cleanliness of that. The shower was clogged and would not drain well every time. The pan to cook needed to be replaced. We asked and got the same burnt pan from another room.
Ewa (8/5): Very good - I loved being beside the jungle. The oropendola birds in the beautiful garden were amazing to watch and listen to. I liked the design of the property and how it integrated the natural surroundings. The synthetic scents used in the washroom were strong and bothersome.

Great setting Only bath towels - no pool towels No coffee/sugar or even bottled water in the fridge No soap other than cheap dispenser soap For $91 a night I expect a little more effort and attention to detail So if you do go there make sure you take all the items you may need

Thomas (10/5): Great place to relax in Puerto Viejo! - Maikel and Sunai have created something wonderful with their "Casa Black Chaini". Half in the jungle and not far from the town of Puerto Viejo, the two have built well-equipped bungalows on a fenced area. With air conditioning, a kitchen and a large terrace, it's a great place to relax. Maikel and Sunai are very friendly, helpful and happy about interested guests. They have many suggestions for activities, restaurants and know the flora and fauna. In the immediate vicinity are many animals to discover, such as toucans, monkeys, frogs and much more. Parking is available and if you come without a car, you can walk to the village in 15 min (or take a TukTuk). We had a wonderful few days and were lucky to have found this place. To Maikel and Sunai: many greetings from Germany! We miss Costa Rica very much.
