Guest Reviews

- Tutuianu (5/5): - Very good location. The bed linens were makeshift, clearly put together from random covers. The beds themselves and the headboards felt improvised and poorly assembled. One of the beds was placed right at the entrance, in a windowless room, which was extremely uncomfortable.
The kitchen was completely makeshift as well. We didn’t cook anything because everything felt barely clean and not properly maintained. Although the apartment could have had potential, it’s obvious that no real investment has been made. Most of the furniture looked like it was brought in from a flea market.
I even scratched myself on the kitchen door. The bathroom had a terrible, improvised lock, and there was toilet paper stuffed into a hole in the door. The smell in the bathroom was unbearable.
I had seen the negative reviews beforehand, but the photos looked romantic and beautiful — very misleading.
- Bruno (4/5): - Niente Non sono venuti a cambiare le tovaglie,a fare il letto e neanche a dare il resto dopo aver pagato la tassa di soggiorno
- matheos (6/5): Nice old spacious apartment, nice location. Good hosts. Badly maintained, bad smell from toilet - Very close to a lot of attractions very nice family friendly street. The host were fast to respond and the apartment had lots of appliances and tools, like washing machine, proper fridge, bidet, kitchen utencils, pots etc.Vary spacious, well lit and warm water. Narrow stairs on the 4th floor witch is a problem for people with disabilities. Old apartment with shaky construction elements the whole apartment shakes and rattles when cars pass by. The wire work for the electric devices seems hazardous and cheap. The biggest PROBLEM was the smell inside the bathroom if it didn't smell like something was burning it smelled like a sewage
- Valentina (1/5): - Truly disappointing. The organization leaves much to be desired, and the apartment was so poorly cleaned that we had to buy cleaning supplies and clean it ourselves upon arrival. I've attached pictures showing how unpleasant and neglected the apartment was. We spent an entire day waiting and insisting that they bring us blankets because the ones they had were all dirty.
We do not recommend this accommodation under any circumstances.

- Lucian (9/5): - We left the place 2 days ago. A beautiful, typically Florentine spot. Very close to major attractions: Ponte Vecchio, Palazzo Pitti, Santo Spirito (here, for 2 euros, you can see Michelangelo's early work: Crucifix).
The apartment is located on the top floor. Very spacious. Clean (bathroom, kitchen, rooms). The bed linen is clean.
Indeed, the bathroom has a smell, as others have mentioned… but nothing too bothersome.
We found clean towels, shower gel, and soap. In the kitchen, you can find all the utensils you need for cooking.
In the area, there’s a Conad with very good prices, a Carrefour Express, and other small local shops with pretty much everything.
I recommend this place, especially to experience how life used to be and to see the old Florentine architecture of a typical apartment.
I would definitely return.
Enjoy Florence!

- Emma (8/5): Very pretty, would stay again - Very cute and cosy and in a great place The bathroom smelt a bit like mould, but other than that it was good! Maybe mention it’s on the 3rd floor with steep stairs

- Renata (8/5): Very good -
- Maya (9/5): Superb - super authentic florentine apartment
walking distance from all of the main attractions As the apartment is older in some places it isn’t the cleanest
- Marcio (7/5): It was a great stay, given the type of the property, and met the expectations. - The location was great and very spacious . The surrounding smell wasn't very good, the sofa was covered with a fabric in a not good shape.
- Katherine (10/5): Exceptional - Space Wi-Fi very slow
- Claire (1/5): Uncomfortable Apartment near the Palazzo Pitti - The property is in a good location. The main issue with this apartment is that it often smells like sewage. There were no covers or blankets provided on the beds when we arrived, even though it was quite cold (it was November). The day after checking in, we were provided with thin fleece blankets and one Ikea duvet insert, without a cover on it. The laundry machine froze and locked all my clothes inside it. There is no wifi in the main bedroom. There was no basket for coffee grounds in the moka coffee maker, and I had to purchase one for it myself. The kitchen and bathroom were quite dirty. The people at the company that manages the property were friendly and did respond to complaints promptly. They sent someone to rescue my clothes from the laundry machine and take a look at the bathroom. However, all things considered, this was not a comfortable place to stay.
- Clifton (3/5): Poor - Location was good and size of unit was good. Not sure if it’s a Florence thing or not but the bathroom sewage smell was almost unbearable. The unit is spacious but not well laid out. Communication with hosts was very good.
- Erin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ben (7/5): Good - loved how close it was to palazzo pitti it was really hot and stuffy even with the fans, but that’s just the nature of older housing
- Isabel (1/5): Maybe ok in winter, don’t risk it in summer. - Location is great Had to stay somewhere else. Arrived and there was putrid sewage smell, the property managers said there’s nothing to be done about it as it’s because of Florence sewage system with the heavy rain. But the toilet wasn’t fixed to the floor, its water dispense system didn’t have a lid on it and the fan was awful. The solution from the host was some glen 20 air freshener. To avoid getting sick with gastro I had to book accomodation elsewhere.
- Elke (5/5): Perfect location in a very vivid quarter. I won't recommend it for a family. - We loved the location. The host was very helpful and quickly responding to our questions and problems with the apartment. Bathroom and kitchen are not acceptable. Aswell as the bed in the front room for a Child. There is no WLAN in the main sleeping room.
- Giuliana (8/5): Good price and location - The location was great in the city, Apt was located on a fourth floor, narrow stairs but stable metal banister. Close to local shops, parks, monuments and such. Would go again, it was an ample apartment with two separate bedrooms, kitchen, living room and bathroom. The shower entrance door is practically blocked by the bidet, the shower head wouldn’t stay in place so you would have to be 4 feet tall to use it, there’s no room inside the shower where to place a bar of soap or similar.
- Sindy (4/5): Disappointing - Location Was very hot A🥵 the apartamento didn’t have air conditioner.. round 100 F
- Lay (8/5): Very good -
- Mark (1/5): I didn’t stay. we left - absolutely nothing dusty, misleading, not well maintained, hot, uncomfortable
- Polina (8/5): Overall pleasant - The location is the best, the neighbourhood is the best part of Florence, very authentic and the apartment is according to that feeling, it is very old and has an atmosphere. Hosts were very attentive and always responding quickly The bed was comfortable and neat, but all the other furniture in the apartment is kind of trashy and not very useful some things are either broken or stained (like the chairs at the table), and the bathroom had no hooks to place a towel. however it didn´t bother us because we were just two of us on a romantic holiday, but I have to say I expected it to be better , cause on the pictures it looked nicer
- Ati (1/5): Bad - The location was the best You have to consider it's in 3rd floor without lift and there is no air conditioner.
Ceiling was leaking when it was raining
