- Mayra (7/5): We were a group of 6 couples staying at the checo. We all enjoyed our stay in sosua, but the hotel is not what we expect - The only thing I liked about the property was the location and the pool. The hotel is run down. Not in the best condition. Looks like at some point they were doing remodeling but stopped. Construction mess and trash in the areas where the remodeling is supposed to be.
Rooms were ok. But need to be throughly cleaned, and bed sheets as well. Mine were stained and dirty. And that was the first night.
- Medina (7/5): No frill hotel - No housekeeping Location to the central of everything
- Tyree (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marc (8/5): Very good -
- Michele (3/5): Loved the pool. With no wifi it was boring when not swimming. - I made my own food, but gas often not function. None to occasional hot water. Sometimes no water. wifi hardly ever working. Argued about extra charges. Everyting functioning.
- Yusuke (10/5): Exceptional - People were so nice even I didn’t speak much Spanish
- Sony (3/5): Poor -
- Luiyin (10/5): Exceptional - I like the pool area table with chairs and free wifi I saved money doing take out Needs more decorations and trash cans
- Lance (2/5): Not worth it No AC - The lady that cleans the room opened my window to ask me for money for food. Then when I told the front desk I couldn’t get my room cleaned when I ask for new towels I was told no.
- Dorr (8/5): Very good - Cheap, fruendly, large room with a big cieling fan, NO AC...
- Marc (7/5): A very pleasant stay in a clean, no-frills spot with plenty of character. - The balcony overlooking the pool was quite relaxing to enjoy on a balmy night.
- Fisher (8/5): Very good - I liked the ambiance, the staff, the location. The pool was amazing and the environment was very tourist friendly. I felt like I belonged there.
- Pedro (7/5): The hotel is good but housekeeping not existent - Like friendly staff No cleaning in the room
- Molly (7/5): For the price not bad - The pool was very good. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Not everything worked right away but in time the right people came and fixed everything to my satisfaction
- Jose (8/5): Very cozy and away from the main strip, would book again during the cooler months. - I loved the friendliness of the staff and the availability of food and drinks at the hotel restaurant. The studio room was spacious with everything included in the kitchen. No issues with what was provided. The main issue with the room was a lack of air conditioning. I would personally not book this room mid summer because a ceiling fan isn’t going to cut it. Also mating it was just my room but mosquitos kept getting in, maybe redo the screening? Really for the price I was still very happy this stay around.
- Tissera (6/5): Pleasant -
- Harry (3/5): Have stayed there many times, even when run by prev. owners & is great at $25/night but bad at $42! - Location, pool, know many people that stay wimters there. Paint & plaster falling from ceiling to kitchen counter.
Kitchette Invaded but ant colony on first day.
Patio door did not lock... so my room open to other guests.
Shower had no soap tray or dish so soap & shampoo had to go on the floor. No toilet paper holder either.
No hangars. Bathroom sink, no p-trap in plumbing, so heard other rooms toilets flushing.
- Anonymous (7/5): Check in process was very simple, it’s a cash only property. This is the DR most hotels are ceiling fan accommodations o - The location was excellent the property had a restaurant and bar attached to its property and also it did had a taxi service the cost was reasonable You was responsible for your own cleaning, you had to request clean towels, bed sheets and etc. Some of the appliances didn’t work properly and I was reluctant to use the kitchen sink because the water would turn brown. Power outages does occur and when it happens the water no longer works.
- Aline (10/5): Exceptional - The staff was very friendly. It's quiet and I loved the pool.
- Remmy958 (8/5): It’s was a okey trip here - More or less Need more cleaning of room daily
- Duane (1/5): Bad - no a/c , wifi didnt work
- Duane (4/5): Disappointing -

- Paul (9/5): Excellent pool and quite convenient - Good room and super pool Room cleaning
- Siyonke (7/5): Good -
- Seita (5/5): Passable - Good price and location No air conditioner
