Guest Reviews
- Jan (8/5): Great location if you are going to Olympic Park for an event. - Great Location. We just needed a place to sleep for the night within walking distance to Accor Stadium/Olympic Park so it was perfect for that. It was well presented and clean. Had everything you needed for 1 night. Bed was very hard, and it was noisy outside. No fault of the property, but there was a party going on nearby playing very loud house music. Fortunately they stopped around midnight. I didn't like that there was people sleeping out in the lounge/kitchen area, but good for the hosts to be making extra money!
- Pat (7/5): - The people and service were excellent The bed was very hard even for me who likes a firm bed
- William (10/5): - Reviews are too critical. It was safe, clean, fresh and had an en suite with a shower. Nothing more you can really want
- Tuan Kiat (7/5): Good location close to train station - Private, quiet neighbourhood. Like a private home, no need to interact with anyone in person. Comfortable enough bed. No room heating. Shower head broken, and shower water pressure weak. Bathroom heating lamp is only 50% operational (1 out of 2 heating bulbs working). Table lamps don't plug into wall socket, different pin configuration.
- Colin (6/5): Queen street - Clean place. quiet. Due to track work, we had to catch buses that were a bit out of the way to get to.
I would prefer a bathmat in the ensuite.
- Guest (6/5): For the price good - Good Bed to hard
- Vaughan (6/5): Pleasant -
- Tam (2/5): Yuk!!! - Location was handy. The house is not a hotel, it stunk of Asian cooking. We only got one very used towel. The bed did not have adequate linen. The bathroom was not clean and had used bottles etc left in it.
- Geoffrey (8/5): Very good - Location No tv
- Jennifer (1/5): Warning: don't stay here - THERE WAS AN UNLOCKED DOOR IN THE CLOSET, no air conditioning, no proper shower, and the bathroom was not cleaned (someone else's shaver and toothbrush were still in there).
- Alex (7/5): Good -
- Fateme (6/5): Pleasant - The location was great, near Olympic Park and the train station.
I like the private bathroom, it was really helpful with warm water.
The Internet connection was good.
The bed was comfortable and the big mirrors were great.
The Electric Kettle upstairs was good. I was on level 2, and it was a little hard to cook in the kitchen downstairs.
It has many stairs, and it was a bit hard to bring heavy luggage.
We checked in early, and I think that's why the room wasn't clean enough.
- Ayodeji (7/5): Good -
- Briggenshaw (1/5): We didn’t stay for longer than 30 mins it made me and my partner absolutely disgusted and very discomforted definitely n - Absolutely nothing it was disgraceful The bedroom was dirty mattress was harder than bricks.
The bathroom was full of mould.
The shower head was loose and hit me in the head when turned on.
- Molly (1/5): Bad - Good location shower kept falling, 1 towel, uncomfortable bed, spiders, door lock
- Mirjam (6/5): Pleasant -
- Meyer (8/5): Very good -
- Xu (7/5): Good -
- Stephen (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic location and value. Room was perfect for one night for an event in Olympic Park. Room was large and everything was as advertised. I like a firm mattress and this one met my needs!
- Sophy (7/5): Good -
- Imam (2/5): Very poor - close to train station dirty bathroom, lot of hairs in the sink
- Christopher (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chris (3/5): Was not as described at all. Single room with shared facilities, none on our floor. One towel for two people!! No soap i - Close to Accor stadium Was not as described at all. Single room with shared facilities, none on our floor. One towel for two people!!
No soap in bathroom, no a/c, no tv.
More like student hostel.
Shower and toilet so close together you could possibly achieve both goals at once.
Not a comfortable stay.
- Chris (3/5): Will not be back - Location was fine. The bed was terribly uncomfortable and didn't feel clean.
Only supplied with one towel, no bathmat, hand towel or anything.
Shower head was loose and flops against the wall
Fridge upstairs wasn't plugged in.
Electric entry handle was a nightmare to use
- Richard (4/5): Great location, but didn't have available what website stated. - What breakfast? Breakfast didn't come with my room. Location was good. We were attending a swim meet at SOPAC and we had no trouble getting back and forth (within 7 min). It was a bonus that there was not an extra charge for parking. There was not even a curtain separating the shower from the toilet and sink. On line it said there would be a kettle, a refrigerator/freezer, and a few other things - available but not, let me explain. There was a nice refrigerator to use in a common area but it wasn't turned on. I turned it on and it worked perfectly. We unloaded our food into the freezer and refrigerator only to find the milk, yogurt warm and the ice-cream and ice melted when arrived back that evening since it was turned off when we left. We turned it back to find out that it was off the next morning with our food ruined. The kettle that was available was supposively downstairs somewhere to use. The bed was fine for my daughter and I but if you don't like hard beds then don't use this place.
- Rauiri (7/5): Wasn’t bad I guess. Good for public transport - Close to the train station.
Ensuite, lots of privacy, very quiet Light was flickering, whole bathroom was wet after a shower, bed was rock solid, didn’t have a fitted sheet, security locks were very temperamental, didn’t have aircon, didn’t meet the owner, only contact was through phone, struggled with communication.
- Lee (1/5): Didn’t use the accommodation as we booked a coach instead due to my daughters anxiety - I paid $190 for a room we didn’t use I give plenty of notice for a refund I think 3 months to be more precise. We enjoyed our Taylor Swift concert but didn’t enjoy the extra cost. A lot
- Hassett (3/5): Poor - The locking system was not working, only one towel was supplied and the bed was far too hard.
- Kirsty (8/5): Very good - Easy to get to & from Olympic park for an event. Host was very responsive & allowed early check in on request. Bed a little to firm to be comfortable
- Phillip (10/5): Exceptional -
- Meleah (1/5): Horrible. - That our room had a 4 digit security code. We felt safer as there are 8 bedrooms in this house. There was a single bed in the upstairs loungeroom with someone sleeping on it, as well as another person on the couch. Rock solid uncomfortable bed. 44 degree day and the owner disconnected the ducted air conditioner from being used through the night. It was too hot and uncomfortable to sleep. The air conditioner was on during the day, which helped with the heat. When they are paying for accomodation, I would have thought the comfort of your paying customers would be priority. The bathroom was filthy with no hand soup to use. We will not be back.
