Guest Reviews
- LUIZA (9/5): Good stay - We had a good stay I cannot give maximum score to this apartment because it was not cleaned properly.
- Uskali (3/5): Quite a disappointment. Apologies by host company sounded empty, not backed up by anything real. - Location was handy for the city and the airport. Apartment was quiet at night time. Balcony was generously large (yet noise from the busy street one block away). Toilet paper was available for 2 days of our 9-day stay. Our 9-day stay was deeply disturbed by construction work just one floor below the apartment. In fact it was several days of DESTRUCTION before they would start construction — they brought some structures down before rebuilding. The noise was health-threatening, extremely loud bang-bang, drill-drill, bum-bum!!!!! We could hardly hear one another when trying to talk, and our bodies shook together with the physical structures of the building. This suffering continued from around 8-9am to 2-3pm every working day. We had planned to do some remote work roughly for those hours, while the rest of the days would be spent for exploring the city. This was a disaster, largely ruining our stay.
To put it in other words, any health authority would have agreed that the apartment was uninhabitable for about 35 key hours of our 9-day stay.
We informed the hosting company about the calamity. They claimed they were not informed about the coming noise in advance. They apologised and offered to give us ear plugs. I explained ear plugs would be of no help as the noise intruded into our bodies through every cell. Towards the end of our stay, they offered the possibility of cancelling the remaining days with a refund, but this was not an option as the city was fulI and our time was scarce. I proposed reduction in the price, but this was not recognized by the company.
On the day of our departure, the elevator of the house was not working. I called the company, but they had difficulty understanding the issue (perhaps due to the huge noise in the background…), yet eventually promised to call the house manager. We never heard back from them, but had to carry our luggage down the narrow stairs from the 6th floor. In consequence, we missed the metro we had planned to take to the airport (they run every 30 minutes), but happily not our flight.
Only one international news channel on tv. Sticky stains on the floor.
- Konstantinos (10/5): A fantastic, stress-free stay with excellent service and a perfect location. Can’t wait to come back - I absolutely loved my stay! The communication was exceptional—emails and the guest portal kept me informed every step of the way, from check-in details to helpful local tips. The apartment was exactly as described, spotlessly clean, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The self-check-in process was seamless, and I appreciated the detailed instructions provided beforehand. The location was perfect, close to everything I wanted to see in Athens. Honestly, there wasn’t much to dislike.
- George (10/5): I wish all airbnb apartments were of such standards. Recommend without any hesitation. - The apartment is superbly located at one of the most luxurious areas in Athens. You can tell it has been recently refurbished offering all modern amenities, comfort, luxury, views and most importantly cleanliness. It offers an all round balcony with spectacular views of the Acropolis, Lycabettous hill and even the Piraeus Port.
The communication from the management team was first class (collecting keys etc) right from the start and one of my calls was answered within seconds.
Within walking distance I found fabulous coffee bars, restaurants and shops. The Acropolis and the famous Plaka area which is full of life is a 15 minute stroll. I couldn't find any faults.
- Zafeiria (5/5): Passable - Great view and location, but the property is dedicated for summer stay and not winter. There is no central heating and only heating option is the air condition which is not ideal. The stuff wasn’t very transparent about miss of central heating from the beginning. They avoided mentioning that the property didn’t have a functioning central heating although they put it as one of the faculties the property had to offer.
