• Thomas (7/5): Perfect location - Noisy neighbors. - Second to none location. Perfectly placed for exploring Sydney and Surry Hills. So many incredible bars and cafes just on your doorstep. The walls are paper thin. You can hear everything from the neighbors upstairs - their kids were up and running around until 11pm at one point. Also there is a daycare next door - more kids.
• Megan (8/5): Very good - Such a great location- close to buses, the light rail, and within walking distance to a great bakery around the corner (bourke st bakery). Gorgeous little flat that had everything I needed. The woven carpet in the kitchen is not very clean. The shower curtain rails were probably old and loose, and had fallen when I was out- and had to put it back in place.
• Kurt (8/5): Exactly as described, and with a few small improvements would have been a 10. - The hosts were very quick to respond, and tried to be flexible in meeting our needs. It is exactly as described, including the private courtyard. It is centrally located: close to a bus stop to the beaches. Close to a bus to the CBD. Good restaurants and bars. 20 minute walk to the Central Train Station The bathroom needs some improvement: shower curtain, mirror over the sink, probably a new sink. Needs more available plugs: maybe just a strip on the kitchen counter.
• Frank (7/5): Good - The location is wonderful. It's a hop,step and a jump from Circular Quay, Darling Harbor, Opera house and the Sydney CBD. Surrey hills itself is a choice piece of inner Sydney. More information about how to get around would have been helpful. I only discovered the light rail down George St by diligent research. No long-term car parking is a serious problem. We parked our car at a friend's house in Redfern about 15 minutes away. It wouldn't be a bad idea to lose a bit of 'rear garden' for a car park. The accommodation is at the back of a 2 storey terrace and we were disturbed by noisy, heavy footed people above us on at least three occasions. The little garden area was not well kept, and we were not told of an all day child care centre over the fence.
