Environment could not be better, & everything in the cabin/chalet that could possibly be needed was provided - all in goodxas new condition. Also, the hosts were ever available & nothing was too much trouble. This is a 5 Star ++ property & location. I loved everything - and no, I am not a family member of the hosts/owners - I had never met or spoken with them prior to my stay.

- Alan (9/5): Beautiful retreat - Excellent retreat for couples, fantastic host with sourdough and Red wine waiting. Relaxing and quite with amazing accommodation. Definitely one to go out during the day and sit back and relax before sun sets. Other things to do on the estate at night. There was a lot of midges the first night inside. Didn't see any second night and leaving the following morning there were hundreds over the kitchen window inside. We kept doors closed so not sure how they got in.....

Huge bedrooms, modern kitchen and the quality of the furnishings and decor is excellent. The hosts provided a loaf of fresh sour dough bread (yum), fresh eggs from their chickens and a bottle of local wine. As it was Easter, we arrived to hit cross buns. We enjoyed the proximity to the wineries and local eateries. This is a rare find.

We lacked for nothing during our stay at the Ruse Estate.
The rural location was perfect for us to celebrate our anniversary in tranquility.
Karen is an excellent host with lots of useful information and recommendations provided to us in advance of our visit.
Karen provided a list of local drivers, and we used one to enable us to fully enjoy our degustation lunch and wine tasting at Voyagers. Early booking is advised.
- Carly (10/5): Top quality, peaceful, relaxing stay. - A well placed secluded hideaway, set on a property amongst vineyards and natural bushland. Not far from surrounding areas and Margaret River. A lovely bottle of local wine with a fresh loaf of homemade sourdough made for the perfect arrival. The accommodation is beautiful, topped with quality furnishings, bedding, cultery, soaps, sprays, candles...the list goes on. A well equipped bathroom with a view from the large bath & a wood fire with endless supply of wood. We were lucky enough to be treated with some homemade mulled wine. Thanks for a lovely stay, can highly recommend to others and hope to return sometime soon.

- Joe (10/5): Absolutely outstanding -
- Jade (10/5): A wonderful fairytale and restorative experience. - The property was self sufficient in terms of eating although we were pleasantly greeted with a delicious homemade sourdough upon arrival and a few extra bits and bods that made our stay very helpful and pleasant. There wasn't anything I disliked about Ruse Estate. Every day I found myself still amazed at its grand scenic views. The price felt very fair for all that you get out of the location. If you pack well on food, you can save on eating out and enjoy staying at the accommodation which makes it feel so worth it and really is what you're paying for. We really didn't want to leave!
- Christine (10/5): Thoroughly recommend a stay here - it’s the perfect place to relax - Stunning luxury accommodation set in spectacular tranquil surroundings. - Melissa (10/5): The perfect getaway - The perfect down south accommodation has been found!
We stayed in the very new and wonderful one bedroom chalet, Syrah. It was HUGE and so beautifully designed and decorated. Very comfortable accommodation set in a stunning and peaceful location about 20 mins from Margaret River town centre. The chalet was very clean, comfortable and had all the modern essentials. The bathroom with the beautiful bath tub was a delight! Eith views of the vines at Ruse Estate, these 3 separate chalets are perfect for a down south getaway and we can't wait to come back and sit on the deck to drink some more local red wine. Karen and Harry the dog are the perfect hosts and made sure we had everything we needed. Karen had very thoughtfully provided a loaf of delicious fresh baked bread, milk, chocolates and red wine, which went down a treat! We can highly recommend a stay at Ruse Estate and we can't wait to head back! Next time we want to try the kayaks on the lake! There was nothing negative about our stay.

Was easy enough to take day trips to sight see and visit the local attractions, and buy food in town. Enjoyed the peace and quiet of nature. Would visit again.
- Rod (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lauren (10/5): Exceptional - Ruse Estate was everything we could have hoped for during our short stay in the Margaret River area this summer - beautifully designed, conveniently and peacefully located and very well equipped, I couldn’t have anything better to say! Karen and Lawrie were incredibly thoughtful hosts who provided thoughtful touches on arrival such as fresh bread and wine and went out of their way to share local recommendations. The chalet itself is stunning - beautifully set on the estate with views of the lake and surrounds, modern in design, very clean and equipped with everything you could possibly need to a high quality. We were also lucky enough to be able to walk around the estate and enjoy the tranquil and picturesque setting, making this the perfect space to wind down amongst nature and in luxury whilst having the option of a short drive into the town centre, wineries and top restaurants. Definitely hope to return soon!
- Roisin (10/5): Exceptional -

Inside, we were greeted with freshly made bread from our host, with complimentary wine and cheese. Absolutely delicious. The accommodation is beautiful also, lots of gorgeous wood, extremely well appointed and very comfortable with everything in the kitchen you could need. The bathroom even has luxury products to use. HIGHLY recommended.
