• Maria (8/5): Nice hostel - Good location, near many bars/restaurants and not far from markets etc. Good breakfast options. You had a free beer every eve which was great to get everyone on the rooftop- Good social vibe up there! Comfortable beds with a mirror(!) and you could change the towel daily. Nice staff & they checked in daily re.activities. Room/bathroom were okay. Hostel only accepts cash which I know is common but many restaurants etc accept cards. My room was in the nearby building- not soundproof at all and glass door not helping, could hear people walking/talking plus the hallway light was coming into the room.

• Megan (10/5): Geweldig verblijf gehad in een sociaal hostel! - De sfeer in het hostel is heel goed. De streetfood tour die het hostel organiseert is een echte aanrader! De medewerkers zijn ontzettend aardig en laten je thuis voelen. Ik zou dit hostel zeker aanraden!! De badkamer had iets schoner gekund.

• Achraf Boughzala (8/5): - Staff were helpful and very nice. Location was very good. Comfy beds. The building is so narrow and there is not too much space in the rooms. No elevator so to get a beer you have to climb 5 floors on again narrow stairs

• Michelle (9/5): Staff were the highlight! Extremely knowledgeable, kind and welcoming. - The location is great! Close to main tourist area without being too close to the noise. Bathrooms could use some loving.

• Lewis (8/5): Great choice for backpackers! - The staff were super friendly. We changed our dates last min and they accommodated everything, also moved us to a private room free of charge. The location is really central. The breakfast included was decent as well. Free beer token every night too. They also run a free pub crawl which was a good way to meet people. There was no lifts and we were on the top floor so carrying massive bags up and down wasn’t ideal.

• Lance (10/5): Chill but still fun and social. - This hostel was very clean, had great social areas and amenities. The best part about this hostel was the staff, they were all super helpful and moreover super friendly, specifically Steve who was very helpful and we had lots of fun with.
• Charlotte (7/5): Nice hostel with friendly staff but room for improvement - The staff were amazing, everyone on reception was so friendly and willing to help. Gave lots of good local food recommendations which were very tasty and more affordable than the popular spots on Google. I also joined the free walking tour with Sam who was a great guide. The hostel had lots of free and paid events which is a great way to plan your stay and meet other guests. I can't comment on the quality of the tours as I didn't go for any paid trips. The laundry service was very good and so affordable. Breakfast was great, generous portions, a mixed menu to choose from, and tasty fresh fruit. The location was ideal, right beside Bui Vien walking street. Very close to 7-eleven, family mart, food, pubs etc. Everything you need on your doorstep. The main issue was the noise from building works next door to the hostel, which seemed to be going until late at night and starting again early the next morning. Constant drilling, banging, hammering etc made trying to relax or sleep almost impossible. Even with ear plugs it didn't really drown the noise. If I had known about this I probably wouldn't have booked for as many nights before arriving! Also, the sound-proofing in the dorm rooms is not existent, as from my bed I could often hear speaking level conversations from the outside corridor, again even with earplugs. Maybe in future the hostel can invest in some soundproofing panels or similar. Also a few smaller issues.Towels were very tiny, barely the size of a hand towel, not big enough to wrap yourself in. The bathroom in the dorm room seemed to have no air ventilation, as a result there was a very strong damp smell, and condensation would drip down from the ceiling. The bed could be a little small if you're over 5'10/11", for me I was okay at 5'6". Also, the lock on the room door didn't seem to work correctly. Communal areas for socialising are a bit cramped - either the small area by reception, or climbing all the way to the top floor for the bar. The bar was so many stairs away that in the end I didn't claim my free drink per day, because I was too lazy to climb. It seems like a nice space but just something to be aware of if you're lazy like me 😅 I found myself wishing there was a larger, more comfortable and accessible communal area.

I had booked for an extra night as my flight wasn’t until 11pm and the staff gave me a goodie bag with snacks and water to take on the flight with me as I was missing the free breakfast the next day! You also get a free beer every night of your stay which you’re able to trade for a large bottle of water if you’re not a drinker!

• Jack (9/5): Perfect amount of social, comfy and clean, best breakfast ever! - Great location, attentive staff and the best free breakfast I’ve ever had at a hostel. 24 hour check in and staff presence. Of course for a hostel the facilities are a bit limited - there’s only one communal bathroom per floor but you can always find a free one on a different floor. Beds themselves are really spacious and comfy, room to keep your stuff in the beds or in a big locker. Even a small mirror/light in the beds which is a nice touch! The rooftop is a great area for socialising every night and everyone gets a free beer per day. At the same time it’s not a party hostel and if you want quiet you can get it. Some of the bathrooms aren’t in the greatest condition, they could do with improving.

• Harry (8/5): - Staff are really friendly, there is a great atmosphere to the place, idea for backpackers and so affordable and close to the city my only small complaint is that the ceiling would sometimes leak after using the shower on second floor
• Agnieszka (10/5): - it was honestly one of the best hostels i've stayed at, it was very clean, the breakfast was great and thanks to the rooftop bar (and one free drink a night) it was also so easy to meet other travellers. The best part of my stay was the staff though, I have never met more helpful and nice people, they told me which atms to use, helped me book transfer to a city they didn't sell tickets to themselves and generally, they provided me with everything i needed! i think the vibes in mobylette were great and if i'm ever back in ho chi minh, i'll stay there again for sure! :)

Maakte echt het verschil in het hostel Sliepen verdieping onder de rooftop en je hoort alle stoelen schuiven. Daarnaast waren de badkamers op onze verdieping erg smal en klein, maar goed je zit ook in een grote en drukke stad.

Les chambres sont calmes. C est la première fois que je prends un hostel et j'en suis ravie ! Je recommande a 100% Le personnel est super gentil ! J ´ai pu imprimer mon visa et on a le droit a une bière gratuite a notre arrivée ! Le petit déjeuner est très bien. On a aussi des box a clé pour ranger nos affaires

Good breakfast and nice to have a free beer The bathrooms are clean but because the shower and toilet are so close together the whole room gets wet but just something to be mindful of, wouldn't stop me staying here

• Adit (10/5): - Loved my stay here! They’ve even got a PS5 which was a nice bonus. The staff are super friendly especially Kate at the front desk, she’s an absolute legend and so lovely to chat with. Towels get changed daily which is a big plus. Definitely recommend this place!
• Vivek (8/5): - Good place for a party/active hostel with a roof top bar. The dorms are a bit cramped up with not enough space to maneuver big bags. Also would be great if they put an exhaust in the toilet, the dorm I was in had 0 ventilation and it felt like a sealed box.

We stayed in a room, I am not sure about the dorm conditions I'm not complaining, Just felt exhausted reaching 5 floors on rooftop bar by stairs . hahahaha
