La direttrice ci ha fatto upgrade alla Queen ed era una bella camera. Grazie. Hotel comodo sia per visitare il quartiere coloniale che per raggiungere la stazione dei Bus (Asotrapusa x Las Terrenas/Samana o altre come la Expreso Romana x La Romana da cui cambiare x Bayahibe). Buona la colazione continentale con ottimo succo di maracuja in bellissima sala in giardino.

• Marylaine (8/5): Very good deal - The property is close by zona colonial which makes it perfect to stroll around, eat restaurants and even visit a few bars at night. Since it’s located near zona colonial it could be noisy at night with the traffic.

• rombout (9/5): Small room in a very well decorated and new hotel - I always prefer to stay downtown when I go to Santo Domingo for work because the street ambiance is just the best. I asked for a quiet room (15) as the noise from the street wakes you up too early. I got to know some more artists because of the display they have in the hallways. The restaurant has a patio which is very relaxing to stay. The room was small, not much space around the bed and the bathroom is much too small and I just fitted as I’m rather thin.

Jose receives us with complementary drunks, and explained vwey well all our options. Adamilca took care of us at all times, even providing an umbrella for us on a rainy day, and John prepared the most delicious cocktails.

Nos recibió José quien fue muy atento con nosotros, incluso nos dio seguimiento desde el día anterior vía mensaje de texto. No recomiendo mucho este lugar (la zona) si buscan descasar, ya que es una zona que se caracteriza mucho por las fiestas y hay mucha gente llegando tarde al hotel y hay mucho ruido, pero si buscas algo por la zona colonial, este hotel es una muy buena opción!!
• pollyanna talida (2/5): Hotel barulhento. Equipe despreparada sem gestão - Chegamos por volta de meio dia. O hotel tem selo de acomodação VIP, mas mesmo com o hotel vazio, o recepcionista não me ofereceu check in antecipado nem upgrade de quarto. Mostrei a ele os benefícios que eu tinha na reserva e finalmente ele me deixou entrar. Fui tomar banho e ao sair do banheiro, me deparei com uma pessoa que abriu a porta do meu quarto que estava trancada com chave. Achei absurdo e me senti insegura, visto que o quarto não tem tranca extra por dentro. Durante a primeira noite foi impossível dormir, pois os funcionários estavam preparando o hotel pra um evento de arte e toda hora conversavam em voz alta no corredor, arrastavam coisas, além de fazerem barulhos de marteladas durante a madrugada para pregarem quadros nas paredes. O quarto não tem nenhum tipo de isolamento acústico. Tudo que acontece no corredor é na rua atrapalha quem está no quarto. Na noite seguinte, aconteceu o evento e todos os convidados, mais de 30 pessoas, ficavam transitando pelos corredores para ver os quadros enquanto conversavam em voz alta impossibilitando qualquer descanso dos hóspedes. Somente por volta das 23h, quando fui reclamar do barulho pela segunda vez, resolveram me colocar em um outro quarto mais afastado do evento, que era melhor que o primeiro, mas ainda assim fazia outro barulho da música que vinha do restaurante. A estadia foi um caos total. Não recomendo. Café da manhã no primeiro dia tinha chocolate quente, no segundo dia somente café. Funcionários despreparados.

• Nadia Catherine (6/5): - An excellent place however they did not have fresh sheets, and I asked them as they kindly brought fresh sheets and change the bed for me Staff is absolutely amazing and their service was bar-none the best. They also served us breakfast as we had to leave very early next morning and they did so bringing it up to our room Fantastic would recommend.

Negatives: No elevator, lots of noise from the street and live music at the restaurant. Small rooom with weird configuration. Spotty Wi-Fi and hot water. Joseph always had a smile and was willing to help at the desk. Breakfast was OK.

• Yerusalem (10/5): - This was my sister and I first visit in the Dominian Republic and we decided to make an overnight trip in Santo Domingo from Punta Cana on Thurs Jan 23, 2025 and we're glad we did. Our stay at Empyrean was phenomenal, the service was impeccable. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted and embraced with a big welcome and infectious smile by Joseph (Jose). He was friendly, hospitable and personable. I can't thank him enough. He made our trip memorable, he went above and beyond, and we are forever grateful for him. Other staff also were courteous, helpful and left a good impression on us. All the servers, housekeepers, the gentleman who served us our complimentary breakfast and coffee. I highly recommend this place. The art decor and attention to detail was wonderful; it felt like being in an art gallery!!! Thank you so much for all that made our stay enjoyable.

The front desk lady was going to charge me a fee, before asking me anything, she called her manager to ask to charge me. I told her that someone had already approved my early check-in and showed her the email. I ended up switching from 2 nights to 1 night as I was not feeling the place, though the entrance is really nice. My room didn't have any windows and it was very small. I had to turn sideways to fit into the shower. The next morning, the front desk lady knocked on my door at 9:45AM to ask me if I was having breakfast at that point I didn't care for breakfast, though, it was nice, she woke me up from my sleep. A little disappointing, glad I only stayed for 1 night, way too much money for what I got in then end.
