Guest Reviews
Zimmer etwas klein
- Barron (10/5): A view to remember in Dubrovnik - The property was conveniently located across the cable car and the bus stop to and from the airport. The host was very attentive and helpful when I needed to print my boarding passes and ensuring I knew where to go for restaurants and experiences. The view was also spectacular!
- Caitlan (10/5): Exceptional stay. Clean, perfect location just outside of Old Town but still very walkable into the centre, easy to comm -
- Andrea (10/5): - Izvrsni domacini, svaka pohvala.
- Sean (8/5): Great location, but basic - Great location, just above the old town. Really nice terrace with sun loungers and view of the old town and sea. Pretty basic inside. The front door was very stiff and difficult to unlock, my wife, who's quite strong, struggled to do it! No microwave or toaster. Plugs were too close together, so you could only plug one thing, eg coffee machine, milk frother or kettle in at a time. A few hooks to hang jackets, towels...anything on would be good.
- Audrey (9/5): It was a pleasure to have Dina as a host. The location was excellent for enjoying the old town of Dubrovnik. - The view and the location were very good. The host was very responsive to inquiries and came by with fruit picked from her trees when we sat outside. She was very thoughtful. The outside patio was an enjoyable place to relax, and the kitchen had all we required. It was a little small and lacked comfortable seating indoors.
- jane me (7/5): The score of the comments is very high, but the actual experience is very average. - The location is good There is no washing machine, and there is only one window in the house, the air is difficult to convect.
The host did not solve the problem in time, such as lack of kitchen paper and mosquito water. Host only appeared when we stayed for four nights and left, and the problem was still not solved until that moment.
- Yuan (7/5): - Amazing view of the ocean from the cute private courtyard, better than expected! The place was easy to find, convenient location just up a few steps from the cable car, and the host was quick to respond to any questions. There was a super friendly cat that visited every morning. WiFi was extremely slow during the 3 nights we were there. Host said due to a storm the evening prior. Bathroom smelled bad likely due to old pipes.
- Hollie (10/5): - The terrace, comfy bed, great air con, easy check in and out Nothing
- Nathalia (10/5): Incrível! - Casa totalmente equipada, quarto super confortável, pertinho da porta da cidade velha, simplesmente incrível! E uma vista de tirar o fôlego!
- Clare (8/5): Fantastic stay - Excellent apartment, close to city and everything we needed. Garden area was lovely to relax with a few drinks and a stunning view 🥰
- Jessie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rytis (9/5): Recommended - Nice location, few steps, but very close to the old town. The terrace is really nice, the view. You cannot leave any food as ants show up really quickly, but otherwise, you will not see them. The bed is not the most comfortable, the pillows are too big, you cannot have a straight neck.
And very early check out time.
- Clara (10/5): Amazing accommodation in Dubrovnik - The flat had all the amenities needed. The host had even left some essential items for us to use. It was a very modern accommodation with AC which was needed in the Croatian heat. The garden had an amazing view but there weren't too many stairs to climb to get to the flat so definitely ideal. The location is perfect, just above the cable car station and only a 5 minute walk to one of the main gates to the old town, as well as other shops and markets.
The host left a useful book with information about Dubrovnik and useful recommendations which was very appreciated. Nothing, everything was perfect.
- Prantik (8/5): Very good -
- Jeff (10/5): Great location, comfortable bed, good AC - Great location, comfortable bed, beautiful patio, clean and Dina was very responsive. That we could not stay longer!
- Andrea (10/5): Dina was a splendid host who went above and beyond to ensure that we had a great stay in split. - It’s central location and splendid host. -
- Shrivastava (8/5): Very good - Room is as described. Good location and good view. There are quite a few stairs to get to the apartment from street which wasn't very obvious from the details.
- Ann-marie (10/5): Fantastic location and in easy walking distance of all the sights and a fabulous view - The location was fantastic ! Stunning views from the terrace over the old town of Dubrovnik and out to sea. Very clean and comfortable - perfect for a short stay Nothing ! All fab !
- Lizzy (8/5): Super comfortable and great location! - We had a wonderful stay. The apartment was clean, spacious and very comfortable (bed was huge, with good pillows and two blankets), with a lovely garden and partial view of the old town. The location was also very good - near to the bus stops for the airport bus, and just a short walk to the old town. Our hosts Dina and her husband were super friendly and provided clear instructions on how to get to the accommodation, and were quick to help us when we accidentally locked ourselves in our apartment. They also gave us fresh towels and some tangerines during our stay, which was such a nice and unexpected gift. Definitely recommend staying here! Everything was great!
- Keith (9/5): Good location and views. - Owners were very supportive and readily available. Very friendly and on hand to offer help and advice with things to do locally.. We had problems with mosquitos or fly bites.
- Lorraine (10/5): Great Location - The location of this apartment was good. It was a five minute walk to the walled city. It was very clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable.
We especially enjoyed sitting on the terrace in the garden. It was lovely and sunny in the mornings.
Dina and her husband were especially helpful. They responded quickly when we had a problem and even booked a taxi for us when ours didn't arrive.
I would highly recommend this apartment.
- Claudia (9/5): Great stay with nice Views and everything in reach - The small Garden was very beautiful. We liked that it was possible to have breakfast there every morning and the cats that joined us daily. The Apartment is very close to the old town and it is easy to get around and get some food or enjoy a stroll through the City. The Hosts are very friendly and make your stay as comfortable as possible. Also: the matresses are very nice! There could be a possibility to Close the bathroom window, but thats Just the Cherry on top!
- Glen (9/5): Loved the terrace to relax - Location was great. The area was quiet a 10 minute downhill walk away from the hustle and bustle of old town. Loved sitting on the deck chairs on the terrace overlooking old town The steps
- Victoria (10/5): Excellent apartment in the heart of the city! - Fantastic find in Dubrovnik - spacious one bedroom, very clean and modern, with beautiful view. Has all the amenities, not to mention bonus of a coffee machine (and capsules) and a lovely terrasse that has both table&chairs and loungers. Amazing location just 5 minutes walk to old town and not many steps at all, considering it is Dubrovnik - this was a huge plus, especially in the heat. Hosts communicated all the instructions well, plus provided many local recommendations and had many brochures in the appartment as well. Have to do a special call out to hosts that when i asked if we could stay few extra hours on check out day as our flight was very late, they agreed - this was a massive plus as we had very enjoyable last day not having to store luggage elsewhere etc. Nothing, it was perfect! would absolutely stay again.
- Colette (10/5): Anbsolute,y brilliant. Would highly recommend - I loved everything. One of the best places we have stayed. We had a lovely spacious garden overlooking the sea with seats and sun loungers and a lime and lemon tree. It was amazing. The host was very quick and helpful in responding to questions Not the hosts fault obviously but just to note there are quite a few steps up but unless you have mobility issues not a problem
- Peter (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kellaway (10/5): Stunning Dubrovnik - Location was great! Very close to the old town like 5-10min walk. The terrace view was fantastic, really nice space to just relax, unwind and take in the views with a nice cold beverage. Back in the room with air con to cool down if needed, which we did as it reached 35 degrees. Kitchen was small but perfect, it's all you need, we stayed for 6 nights and we had everything we needed. Fridge, small freezer, cups, plates, glasses, utensils, cutlery, toilet roll, kitchen roll, tea towels, some shower gel, electric hob, and more. There was a presented folder with a welcome page, a list of tourist attractions, good places to eat, tours, etc, all of which Dina will be happy to help out with any requests. Any questions we had, Dina responded almost instantly every time, which was great! Very nice host and person, I would recommend her stay to anyone. One morning, Dina came to the apartment to meet us, and we said we were heading to the beach, and she kindly recommended a really nice local beach and drove us there, very sweet of her. We really enjoyed our stay. The old town has many steps everywhere to get around, some really steep, but looks absolutely stunning 😍 👌 adds some really nice contrast and dimension to the beautiful scenery. It was very hot whilst there so the stairs weren't always welcomed but you have not much choice 😉 You can choose to go in or out of the Polce Gate or Pila Gate which have no steps leading into the old town/fort but once inside there's steps, lots of them. But there is so many restaurants, shops, churches, and monasteries that you can stop and relax, to enjoy before facing the steps again or choose to go out of one of the gates, this would depend on where your staying 😉
One thing about the old town, is it's very high priced. Not everywhere but a lot of places are very expensive 😕 to the point where you can't justify it. I found the average meal was between 18 euros to 38 euros. We would buy food from the supermarket, make a big breakfast in our stay, then eat out for lunch and dinner.
- Edouard (7/5): Good -
- Leonie (9/5): Lovely stay, nice apartment with a beautiful view! Would come again. - Great communication from the host, good location (not too many steps from Old Town!), really comfortable bed and a lovely view from the terrace! Had some issues with the shower door allowing the floor to flood slightly, but otherwise no issues!
- Georgia (10/5): Amazing apartment and views - The views from the balcony were amazing - overlooking Lapad island and the old town! The apartment itself was very spacious and had everything we needed! Dina was very helpful and lovely, just a message away if we had any inquiries - thanks so much!
- John (10/5): Exceptional - Great location just a few minutes from old town. Lovely apartment with private Sunny garden area, looking over the old town and the sea. We loved it here Nothing, it was perfect
- Michael (10/5): Awesome place at great location 👍 👌 - Great location, fully stuffed kitchen, good instructions and recommendations. They even had a sawing kit to fixup my clothe. A few fresh citrus fruits from the small garden were a delightful treat. Plesent, attentivevand friendly hosts. Not much to say really.
- Srinisidd (8/5): Excellent location:amities, but at price - Excellent location with exceptional host communicating with you all the relevant info. Liked the small sit out garden in front of the house. When in Dubrovnik be prepared to climb a lot of steps. Even for this property you have to climb about 40 steps from the road The bed was essentially two separate twin beds with frame pushed together and the bedding was not so comfortable. The kitchen non-stick utensils are worn out.
- Ivor (9/5): Great apartment in a great location - The apartment was very nice and had amazing views. It was in a great location as it was near the seafront and only a 5-10 min walk to the old town. There were lots of nice restaurants around and there were bakeries and small grocery shops right next to the apartment. It was the perfect size for two people. The owner of the apartment also let us store our luggage with them as we weren't leaving until later in the day. The only thing we didn't like was that the bed was two single beds put together rather than a double bed.
- Stephen (8/5): Very good -
- Diana (10/5): The stay was wonderful, everything was wonderful, the room tidy and clean, terrace with a nice view. The attitude was up - The tranquility, the attitude and the location too. here's nothing I don't like
- Rafael (8/5): Very good -
- Carlos (10/5): The perfect apartment... a great location... and a lovely host: Sea View Magnolia is a 10/10! - With a beautiful little garden to sit in, and great air-conditioning, the Magnolia apartment we stayed in was a lovely little oasis to return to, after a day of very hot walking and exploring in Dubrovnik. Dina was a great host, and made it easy to find the apartment, collect the key, and she also offered several useful local recommendations - bakeries, supermarkets, restaurants etc.
It was a great size, and well-equipped for what we needed. Superb shower, two generous-sized single beds (put together to make probably a king+ double), and a lovely little garden with great views down to the Old Town and the Ploce Gate of the walls.
It's in a great location, with markets, shops, bars and restaurants within a five-minute walk, and within two minutes more, you're inside the city walls, with everything at your fingertips. It's also a one-minute walk from a good bus stop (to let you explore the coast a little more) and the departure point for the cable car!
- Haley (10/5): The accommodation was clean and the location was perfect. The host was also extremely helpful and polite. We would stay - The views, cleanliness and location Nothing
- Fan (10/5): five Stars - the best location and view, beautiful small garden, nice room, near the station of cable car and airport, very convinient, and the Best hostess!!
