• Kim (10/5): A great place to stay for your first visit to Istanbul. - Everything. The location is excellent for first time in Istanbul. Our reserved room had a problem. We were immediately given another, identical room. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The host was gracious and friendly. A nice place to stay. Strong recommendation. No complaints at all.

• Pazzanese (7/5): Ottima posizione, pulizia da migliorare - Staff simpaticissimo e posizione eccellente, a due passi dal centro e dalla Marmaray, metro e tram. La stanza non era pulita come mi aspettavo: bagno con macchie di umidità sul soffitto, pavimento con polvere ovunque, ho dovuto rilavare la cucina per poterla utilizzare. Inoltre non era prevista pulizia giornaliera della camera.

• Linda (10/5): Fabulous - Fabulous location. Quiet street with some lovely restsutants. Only 3 mins walk to the hustle and bustle. Host was so lovely. Apartment was great. Comfy beds and sofa. Good shower and bathroom. Washing machine and big drying rack. Would definitely recommend.

(7/5): Descent property with great location and all required amenities - Location is undeniable advantage of this property - it is walking distance from all the attractions and transportation points in the area. Another good point is a working elevator for floors 1-5 (not 6) - stairs way too narrow and steep for kids and elderly people. Kitchen in the room is basic, but all essentials are there (expect microwaves) - we needed it to be able to cook for the smaller kid and we were able to do as expected. The host was very welcoming and helpful as well! As with many other similar places in Turkey and Istanbul, the place is pretty worn-out: bathroom drain is poor, some lights/bulbs don't work, freezer is old and small. Same applies to the walls, furniture. However if you set your expectation well for the price point and location, there is nothing unexpected to be found.
• Akbar (9/5): Superb - Strategic location few step to sirkeci station, ferry port, market, restaurant etc. Kitchenette is working well, the host very helpful and caring. Since the location very strategic, some noise until 11-12pm from cafe/restaurant neaeby (we dont mind since we're just back to apart arround 11-12pm)
• Emil (9/5): Superb - Hotel is in a very good location. Walking distance from Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi, Basilica Cistern. Very close to the tram stop that can take you to the other interesring places. A lot of good restaurants nearby. Rooms have everything one need for short stay. Very tasty brekfast. Very friendly and helpfull staff. The hotel has a lift which is not so obvious in that part of the city. The hotel should pay more attention to cleaning. There was a lot of dust on upper shelves. Wi-fi sometimes didn't work well on upper floors.

• Martin (5/5): The location was absolutely great, and I appreciate this was a budget stay. Still, a few small chane - The location was great, and the space met our needs ( 3 travelers, needing 3 beds). The wifi was good, and the presence of a kitchenette and washing machine was what we needed. A/C worked well. The place was not very tidy, and there were no sufficient cleaning products and sponges/cloths. Linen was not changed during the entire stay, nor there was an offer to do so. The TV remotes had flat batteries and did not work. The whole place was very worn and tired. The bathroom had no ventilation. The electric kettle was broken.
• Mandi (7/5): Needs continous maintenance - Ekrem's personal touch in everything. His willingness to assist wherever and whenever possible. Every day he made our stay such a pleasant experience. He waited till 22h00 for us to return from our Pamukkale trip - who would have done that for 2 girls? He is truely an asset to the company and to Konak Apart Hotel. Lack of maintenance: main reception area; kitchen; bathroom; leaking pipes; missing crockery and cutlery; mould in shower basin - very, very dangerous.

• Tracy (1/5): Worst hotel ever - friendly manager good location very very dirty complained & they cleaned it but it was no different. Had to buy slippers because the floor so dirty. Dont think they have ever moved furniture to clean underneath. Kitchen facilities were dirty, cupboards, drawers…wouldnt use anything, went & bought my own cup. windows, balcony, paintwork, everything was filthy. No cleaning products supplied to do anything yourself to make it more bearable. Mould in the shower. Everything needs upgrading! Spoke with the owner, complete waste of time. When i book a hotel i do expect a basic level of cleanliness, this was below basic, it was disgusting. Stairs were dangerous, stayed on the top floor so had to use the stairs, stepping out of the lift you need to be so careful or you could fall. Taking it further with booking.com as the price of this place is extortionate for what is provided. This hotel should never be allowed to advertise on here. DO NOT STAY HERE !!!! Beyond disappointing EDIT..I stayed an extra 14 hours due to a flight change to an additional cost of 1500TL Now you choose to write personal comments regarding my marriage…no confidentiality to add to the list of what is wrong with this hotel. I gave you 2 opportunities to clean the room, the photographs provided were after the first clean! My personal information is nothing to do with this review, i was stating that the room wasn’t clean & you choose to write information that is untrue to make up for the fact you have a dirty hotel. Now you show you cannot be trusted! You are obviously not happy that i have written an honest review with photos to prove the cleanliness & want to make it personal. Great for your future customers….you are a disgrace!

• Sergio (8/5): perfect location, very lively and helpful host. Go there. - perfect location. parking was on the street, far away from the hotel. I had to find a private parking and pay for it as I have a loaded car with camping gear. Booking should strive to get exact definition of what the parking described is about. I found many times that 'parking on premises' was very inaccurate.

It has a good location near the tram and metro station and also an elevator. rarely find an apartment hotel with an elevator in this area I was okay but for an improvement, the hotel needs to fix the AC sound and put a proper cooking utensil.

Mr. Ikram and the owner were very kindful and cooperative really they will help you and guide you if you need anything be careful about stairs If you have kids.
