• Scott (9/5): Very comfortable and nice, I would certainly recommend it for someone who likes to be on one's own. - I used to live in London and wanted to visit and explore the city on my own, which I did taking long 5-7 hour walks each day in different directions. The location for me for this was perfect. A 20-25 minute walk from Waterloo Station and the Southbank Centre, 15 minutes from the nearest Tube. The building is set back from the street so traffic noise was not too loud. Entry was very easy following the instructions sent by message. While I did not do any cooking, the kitchen appeared well equipped for this. I used the fridge and water cooker. My room, the shared bathroom and kitchen were all clean and during my stay the individuals staying in the other two rooms were friendly and quiet which was great as my room was under theirs. The WIFI was very fast and reliable during my stay. There were enough wall plugs and clothes hangers for my relatively minimal needs. The room (number 3) had comfortable chairs and a very good sized table for this. Across the street is The Ship, very nice pub which has great pizza. But the Lower Marsh Market Street is just 15 minutes walk away. I had no issues with the temperature (too hot or too cold) inside, the outside temperature during my stay was an easy going 5 to 15 degrees Celsius.

Скромно, чисто, спокойно, безопасно и чудесный ви-фи. В какой-то момент расстроилась, что в стране культа чая не было на кухне чая, только кофе. А сама купить не сообразила.
• Thomas (4/5): Pas très confortable suffisant pour dormir - Il était proche des transports en commun. L’établissement n’étais pas très propre, les draps étaient sales, troués. Le sol collé, la cuisine étais salle, sentait mauvais… Le logement est très bruyant entre les bruits des voisins du haut et de la rue c’était impossible de dormir. Expérience pas très agréable…
• Roseanne (5/5): Paper thin walls sharing with other residents - Very comfortable bed nice facilities good shower. In a nice area. Quiet resistants in other flats. Nothing to do with the actual apartment but the couple in the room next door to me were noisy. Thursday night after midnight there was loud talking on the phone and music with a loud beat early in the mornings so I did not get as much sleep as I needed. Also they insisted on turning the hall landing light on permanently which is not necessary as there are switches upstairs and downstairs so you only need to turn it on for when going up / downstairs. So too much light came through under the door. Friday night I was woken at 3 am with loud talking on the phone. Thankfully I brought ear plugs because later on the TV was on loud throughout the night and morning. If they had switched it on BEFORE I plugged my ears I wouldn't have slept. The walls are paper thin. So my sleep was disturbed throughout. Every time I thought of knocking the door to say something I drifted into a sleep so I did get some sleep but not as much as I needed. It was disrupted and I couldn't fully relax. And I came to London for a break and to rest as well as see friends, so the guesthouse was a waste of my money in the respect.

• Gite Les Mes'Anges (7/5): Clean and comfortable albeit it a little noisy. - Clean throughout, plenty of hot water and spacious enough room with a comfortable bed, great location with easy access to the city centre. I would stay again. No parking, noisy guests in the adjoining bedoom (better phonic insulation required ?) with noticeable road noise. The communal stairwell was dirty although hardly the flat owners' fault.

• Elisabetta (7/5): - Great position, very close to the city center. The room is clean, and the host sent clear instructions for check in and check out, very proactive communication! The building is a bit old so you can smell mould on the staircase and corridors, not in the apartment though. The apartment has 3 rooms rented to different people, shared bathroom and shared lavatory. My room had a bit of smell on the first day, but on the second it was gone. The neighbour guests kept chatting with loud background music till 1:30 am, and the walls are a bit thin which didn't help (but this is not the owner's fault, of course!).

Waterloo station was less than 15 minutes walk, making it easy to travel anywhere in the city. The bed was really comfortable, and I loved the touch of including flip-flops for use within the house.

• TAMARA (7/5): Pleasant, clean stay with easy check-in and great bus links - Very clean, easy check-in process, and overall a pleasant experience. Property easy to find and great location with transport links right outside. With a handy corner shop and restaurants near by. Host, Alfred was very helpful. The stairs were quite steep, which may be difficult for older guests. Also, the shower had no safety handle to hold onto, which would have helped prevent slipping — especially important as the guest staying was in her 70s. Had issues with the television, not being able to watch it.

There is a washing machine in the kitchen. The room is very spacious. The place is in front of a bus station with connection to the centre and a nearby train station (Vauxhall) within 30 min or quicker. Very good value for the price in London.

There are central buses at the door, and metro station at 5 min walk. Also, it's right by the Imperial Museum of War, which is worth seeing, and has a very nice garden.

The host was very helpful too when there was a problem with my room key, he was over to the property within 45 minutes to give me a replacement and was incredibly sorrowful for the inconvenience. It was top class service. Only criticism is the bedroom curtains aren't black out so in the brighter mornings it is very bright and it woke me up rather early. But next time I would just bring a sleep mask.

• Eddy (7/5): A traveller's tale - The house manager was most courteous, responsive and helpful in ensuring my stay was comfortable. He was always reachable & found me an umbrella at short notice when the rain caught me by surprise. The location of the house was excellent with a bus stop in front, grocery stores nearby and train stations within walking distance; again thanks to the house manager for his guidance. Although there was no issue with the shared facilities, I wish I was prepared for it. The kitchen was well equipped & clean and the toilet & bathroom were spotlessly clean. (I did worry about stepping out of the bathtub where the shower is a slip could result in a disaster. I wasn't sure how to get fresh towels. The stairs' carpet looked old and stained.. Other occupants were very nice & courteous and respectful of the place.

The bus stopping in front of this apartment hotel runs into Big Ben, the Westminster and Picadilly circus directly. I did not feel the danger of security in the district, although the streets are relatively dark after 20 O'clock. Every part of the facilities is clean. The sharing bathroom and WC are greatly maintained. Hotel manager was kind to take care of the guest through telephone. Nobody can blame for the fair price in the heart of London, where is the world famous place for its expensiveness. Hotel's locating pin of the map was apparentley incorrect, and I had to roam several times on the street.

I liked the automated /no person, key drop offs. Great size bed , pretty comfy. Loud area for sleeping which can't be helped. Shower was a bit weak.

I had to hang up, and luckily, neighbors helped me. There are simply no clear directions on how to get there. Horrible. The apartment although was good 👍🏼 great structure.

Even fruits and water in the kitchen when we arrived For our family the apartment ( 3 double-bedrooms ) was great- but only one toilet. So if there are different parties in it, i wouldn't recommend it

The room is comfortable and clean. Three floors up and the street outside can be a bit noisy at times but not so much to keep you awake at night.

The host sent very clear instructions prior to my arrival and everything was as described - clean, pleasant and quiet. The room was spacious with a large table to work from. Shared bathroom and toilet! But I am aware that's what I paid for, and so I can't put the blame on them, especially as the toilet and bathroom were both very clean!

It’s clean, it’s comfortable, you had everything you needed in the kitchen and bathroom, wifi, tv and hosts Alfred and Rita were really friendly and helpful. The location is fantastic- across the road from a great pub and pizza place, a great coffee shop, and minutes walk from a Tesco extra, great pubs, the tube and a bus stop right out the front. I could get to anywhere in London with ease. The street itself is a lovely quiet tree-lined street in a great area. Will definitely stay again- for the price it can’t be beat! Nothing!

The bathroom is shared with two other rooms, but there were no conflicts over its use. There are 2 tube stations 10 minutes walk away and a bus stop on the doorstep. No complaints, there was some traffic noise late evening but it is London.

Angry when I asked the missing - Location, and the owner helped me carry my luggage up and down! Not organised properly! Day 1: heater not working when I need it because it is under owner’s control. There’s no plug for bathtub! He sent a lady to bring extra blanket and a plug over 8 pm, i am already sleep! He knocked on my door 9:15 pm, wakes me up again to bring me private heater! Day 2: leaking water from heater, the plug is wrong size I realised when I needed, no hot water! I called him after I message to him but no response from him. He got mad. He yelled me over the phone he said bathtub only for shower. I said why in your advertisement is bathtub private, and why you sent a lady to bring one yesterday? and he hang up my phone! I went to bed without shower! He knocked my door after 9:15 pm wake me up again! Day 3: leaking water from the heater! There’s right size plug shows, he comes over after 9:15 pm again and took the batteries from heater remote control! He was angry because I use his Washing Machine!
• Admin (10/5): Fantastic! - The hosts were very kind and keen to be as helpful as possible. The house was very clean, in a beautiful place and the room was very big compared to other flats you might find in London for the same price -
• Simon (6/5): Pleasant - Clean flat, everything you could need including microwave, crockery, oven, fridge etc. Very nice owner and cleaner. Great to be able to leave luggage and also in my case check in early. Large rooms, comfy beds, balcony. Friendly and professional owner. This is a small, conventional flat you share, if others are booked in as well. No plug for the bath, had to improvise. Building flat is located in isn't the nicest and is smelly, despite the flat itself being immaculate. Not the owner's fault.
