Guest Reviews
- Clifford (10/5): Great location, rustic charm and great hosts - would recommend - Location is really good and quiet. Houses here can be a bit snug but it’s part of the charm of the area. Sofa bed was really good and easy to use and bedroom and kitchen were great. Bathroom a little small but again. If your using this place as more of a base and will be out mostly then it’s fine I imagine it may be small for some people but for me, my wife and 4 year old is was perfect
- Rosie (5/5): Passable - Close to location Bed sheets had stains on, no black bin bags, nothing to clean sides and no washing up liquid. Only 1 cup
Shower leaks onto bathroom floor, tap in bathroom also leaking. Water doesn’t drain down plug as can’t get it out.
- Laura (9/5): Live like a local! - The location was superb if you wanted to be just outside the city. There were plenty of buses available to get you anywhere you wanted to go. The street was also very quiet. It was like living in London as a local. There were also multiple shops nearby to stock up on food and drinks. There was no door on the bedroom which ww were able to work around. I also found the steps to be a bit steep and potentially dangerous for family members that might have mobility issues.
- Rachel (6/5): Overall good stay, a few tweaks would make this even better value for money - Really comfy bed in bedroom, great location, nicely decorated, mostly quiet surroundings Slight smell of smoke on arrival and cleaner had not finished at normal check-in time.
More towers to be easily accessible, not up a dodgy ladder.
Couple little things that’d help a lot more!
-Bin in bathroom
-Night light in hallway
-Clothing storage for hanging/door hangers
-More glasses and cups
- If 3rd guest staying pre-make bed
- Philip (7/5): Good -
- Jane (6/5): Good bolt hole for short stay - basic. - Good location and comfy bed Lots of lightbulbs not working. No TV and tiny bathroom. Lots of cracked and flaking paint. Landing/stairs arrangement needs you to be nimble to navigate.
- Elizabeth (10/5): Exceptional -
- Maria-anna (7/5): Fine for adults and a short stay - The flat was clean and smelled nice when we arrived, with enough towels. The kitchen was well equipped with dishwasher, toaster, coffee machine, kettle. Even a washing machine. It is a 7min walk to the nearest bus stop and shops. There is no underground nearby. Quiet neighbourhood (as we were there they started renovating the downstairs flat). For 4 adults it is too small, as the sofa bed is very uncomfortable. And the floorboards sweak a lot!
Also not a good idea to go there with small children due to the layout of the flat, moving from the bedroom/living room to kitchen/bathroom there are odd narrow steps, where you have to step down and then up (hard to describe). There is a very tight staircase leading up to the flat, so be aware. Bathroom is also very small, taller people (185cm +) have to sit sideways on the toilet.
- De (8/5): Nice property in a quiet street. - The flat is situated in a charming street with terraced houses and lots of greenery. The nearest bus stop is 5 mins away. It's a quiet neighbourhood. We liked the kitchen, which had all the necessary equipment, including a fantastic toaster:) The bedroom and the living room including a small dining space were nice, too. There's a hair dryer and an iron on the premises. Pretty much everything you need for a few days' stay. The flat has a bit of a strange layout, meaning we kept bumping into things, and a very narrow, steep staircase leading to it. The bathroom is tiny, with barely enough room to step out of the bathtub. We booked for three guests, yet there was only one duvet - one of us had to sleep under a blanket. My question about the wi-fi credentials remained unanswered, and I would've preferred to receive the instructions on how to enter the property a little earlier, not a few hours before checking in - and without prompting.
- George (9/5): Great - The layout was great
Every thing I needed was there You couldn’t have done anything better
- George (8/5): Good Apartment - A good standard of apartment in a good area but could be improved with some easy improvements. Narrow stairs needs handrail, bedroom needs a door, and apartment would not work well for four people. Shower water pressure disappears and would benefit from a non slip bath mat. No place or hooks for hanging clothes. Waste bins in rooms other than kitchen would be helpful.
- Emerson (10/5): Exceptional -
- Viola (8/5): Very good -
- Lorna (8/5): Comfortable, clean, compact apartment. Good location and quiet street. - Nice quiet street only a short walk from Clapham Junction station and shops/restaurants Nowhere to hang clothes, although plenty of drawer space
- Chantelle (8/5): Very convenient for why i was in london - Had a cosy feel and was lovely and clean Very small bathroom and slippy carpet on the stairs. I did fall down them and injured myself.
- Sophie (8/5): Very good -
