Ronja-Melina (10/5): A little paradise - We stayed at the Venecia hostel and liked everything about it. The place was charming and we felt right at home. The hostel staff was so friendly and helpful all the time. The patacones workshop we did with them was our highlight. The place is calm and serene, perfect to hang back in a hammock, drink coffee and relax. They serve a very good breakfast. Unfortunately you can’t have dinner at the coffee lodge, only lunch. But the little shop has the basics (nothing refrigerated though). When booking on booking.com it was a little difficult to see at which property (hostel or hotel) you are actually booking a room. Also it would be great if they had little hooks in the ceiling of the rooms to make installing mosquito nets easier.

Laura (10/5): Excelente experiencia - Hacienda Venecia fue un 10 en todo sentido. El lugar es hermoso, súper cuidado y con una energía especial que realmente invita a disfrutar y desconectar. La atención fue excelente, siempre atentos y con muy buena disposición. La comida, espectacular, y toda la experiencia en general estuvo impecable. Los talleres estuvieron excelentes, tanto el de cacao como el de café, muy bien llevados y realmente enriquecedores. Además, el entorno es increíble, con paisajes espectaculares que hacen que la experiencia sea aún más especial. Sin dudas, un lugar al que dan ganas de volver y recomendar.

La única pega que se puede poner es el camino de acceso que está en muy mal estado y tienes que estar muy atento al desvío desde la Autopista del Café. Verónica (10/5): Estancia de ensueño - Todo, es como estar en un sueño, es una pasada de hacienda, es preciosa y con ella parece que te sumerges dentro de una bonita novela o serie. Tienen todo cuidado con muchísimo detalle y mimo. La cocina que tienen es deliciosa tanto en el desayuno, comida y cena. Las actividades con las que cuenta son súper recomendadas y amenas. El personal es fantástico y te hace sentir como en casa. Fue una estancia de dos días y una noche y se nos hizo corto. Realmente es un lugar súper acogedor, recordable al 100%. Nosotros estuvimos en la casa principal y es una pasada, pero pudimos ver el coffe logde y también parecía un lugar encantador. Nos gustó absolutamente todo.

Eva (10/5): El paraíso entre cafetales - Viajamos en familia con un niño de 2 años y la estancia fue perfecta. Nos alojamos en el coffee lodge y el personal fue muy amable y servicial. La comida casera lo mejor, platos auténticos y riquísimos (la sopa de plátano muy top!). Incluyen varias opciones vegetarianas buenísimas bajo petición. Las habitaciones y los espacios comunes están muy limpios y cuidados. El entorno donde está la finca entre cafetales... el paisaje una maravilla. Además dispone de una piscina rodeada de naturaleza y de unos jardines muy cuidados. Ofrecen varios tours muy interesantes. Como la finca esta en medio de la naturaleza para llegar el camino es algo complicado (sin asfaltar) sobretodo si llegas de noche, aunque merece totalmente la pena. Echamos de menos algo más de almacenaje dentro de la habitación para guardar la ropa (armario o cómoda).

Hugo (9/5): Fantastisch verblijf in een heel mooie omgeving. - De sfeer van deze oude doch werkende koffie hacienda was fantastisch, je waande je terug in de tijd. Het personeel was zeer professioneel, heel erg vriendelijk en zeer behulpzaam. Verder was het ontbijt en diner(wij hebben niet geluncht) heel erg goed. Voor de liefhebbers zijn er mooie wandelpaden vanuit de hacienda en kun je s’morgens vroeg heel veel vogels bekijken. Ik zou het niet kunnen verzinnen.

The coffee tour with Girard was informative and engaging, offering real insight into the local culture and production process. I also had an amazing massage with Maria—truly one of the best I’ve had. The food was delicious, the coffee was exceptional and available everywhere, and the entire property was clean as a whistle. A perfect mix of comfort, nature, and authentic Colombian charm.

vivianne (4/5): Decepcionante , no lo recomiendo - El coffe farm , fue una desilusión , al llegar estaba toda la estancia pasada a camisa a las 17 horas , la cocina está abierta pero sin extractor y hoy a las 8 am estaban friendo cebolla !! Todo pasado a comida . Las maletas hay que llevarlas 2 cuadras caminando por el barro . El sistema que tienen es para jóvenes No hay bar como tal , hay una pieza pequeña donde hay un pequeño refrigerador con coca colas y cervezas , el vino solo por botella Y licores que están en la pared colgados y tú sacas . Ninguna posibilidad de pedir un aperitivo . La comida terrible , básica y no muy bien sabrosa .pechuga de pollo y arroz con ensalada de lechuga , trozo tomate y pepino .Reservamos el tour café , nos explicaron que éramos pocos , por lo tanto teníamos que hacer el tour del café con aroma a mujer , que era parecido . Terrible ,lo comentamos con las otras personas , el guía sin conocimiento de los procesos de la cosecha y tratamientos del café , o no quiso compartirlos , solo habló de la novela . El transporte para el tour estaba en malas condiciones , sin aire acondicionado , con un neumático pinchado hace tiempo , por que tenía el inflador conectado al enchufe ya con polvo de estar ahí . Luego nos dieron a probar unos cafés en termos , que ninguno de los que hicimos el tour quiso comprar , muy mal preparados . No lo recomendaría por nada . Hay muchos tour del café en la zona y muy buenos . Y si es por la novela y quieren conocer ,vayan a pero no se queden ni hagan el tour .

Buena predisposición en caso de realizar cambios de hospedaje, El servicio de comida, de la Casa Principal, es una delicia total y muy amables desde el personal hasta los dueños. Las habitaciones son bellisimas y el jardin con sus aves, lo mas hermoso que se puede disfrutar y relajarte. Ademas se encuentra disponible cafe free. El guia que te acompaña en los tours, hace un excelente trabajo en toda la explicación de los procesos del cafe y en la visita a la casa donde se grabó la novela. superó mis expectativas
Nicole (10/5): Sehr authentische wunderschöne Hacienda - Die Unterkunft ist einfach nur perfekt und sehr authentisch. Wir haben uns im Main House vom ersten Moment an willkommen und zuhause gefühlt. Das Personal ist unglaublich herzlich. Jeden Abend kochen die Frauen ein superfeines 3-Gang-Menü, zudem man sich vorgängig anmelden muss. Gegessen wird am grossen Tisch, so dass sich die Gäste kennen lernen können. Die Anfrage des Hotels kommt früh genug via WhatsApp ob Lunch oder Dinner dazugebucht werden soll und welche Aktivitäten angeboten und mind. 1Tag vorher gebucht werden können. Wir haben das Birdwatching, Coffee Tour, Los Nevados del Ruiz NP und den Patacones Workshop (Gemüsebananen) gemacht. Alles war toll. Die unglaubliche Natur rundherum ist unglaublich und es gibt eine Vielzahl an interessanten Vögeln zu beobachten. Die Zufahrt ist über eine ungeteerte Strasse, da wir einen privaten Transfer gebucht hatten, kein Problem. Uns hat alles gefallen, die Unterkunft ist für Leute, die 5-Sterne Hotels mit modernem Komfort suchen evt. Weniger geeignet. Die Herzlichkeit und dass alle Speisen frisch und hausgemacht sind, macht das alles für uns mehr als wett.

No nos ha gustado que hay cucarachas por toda la hacienda, incluido habitaciones y baños. Creo que es un problema que deben solucionar. Entendemos que está en el campo y puede haber toda clase de insectos pero lo de las cucarachas es inadmisible.

MARIA (10/5): Transported one hundred years back but in a nice way! - Omg!Omg!Omg! What can I say about Hacienda Venecia? I went with my husband and adult daughter and we all loved it. Everything was perfect, the room, staff, food, facilities and surroundings while the prices were reasonable. We took the cocoa tour but did not get space in the coffee tour or the telenovela tour. My only regret was that we did not stay longer. Definitely planning to go back and staying longer to enjoy it even more.
Nelson (7/5): Cafe de Gaviota - La hacienda es muy linda y el entorno tambien, el tour del cafe es bastante bueno y muy completo (tour cafe con aroma de mujer), las comidas tambien son buenas. la iluminacion del coffe lodge tenia intermitencia en la noche y no se pudo cargar los equipos moviles por ende tampoco funcionaba el wi-fi. hubo que molestar a las Sras. de la cocina mientras desayunabamos para poder cargar. Ademas si como huespedes ya le tienen a uno las habitaciones asignadas minimo que revisen que no tengan insectos, y no que uno tenga que solicitar un insecticida para poder aplicar a la habitacion ya que al tener los techos altos se podian ver arañas y mosquitos.

Las instalaciones eran impecables y estaban bien cuidadas, y la limpieza era evidente en cada rincón. Ofrecen una variedad de actividades que son realmente entretenidas y están muy bien organizadas. Las comodidades del hotel, como la piscina y el restaurante, también fueron excelentes y añadieron un toque especial a mi estancia. En resumen, todo fue genial y definitivamente recomendaría este hacienda a cualquiera que busque una estancia cómoda y agradable.
Ellen-Rachel (10/5): - Sehr schöner Ort zum entspannen. Das Personal ist aussergewöhnlich, sehr bemüht ihr bestes zu geben und unglaublich freundlich. Die Landschaft ist sehr schön und gepflegt. Das Essen war sehr gut, es hat eine Bar bei der man sich bedienen kann, es wird am Schluss abgerechnet. Viele Aktivitäten werden angeboten. Nichts! Zum Anwesen ist es keine Asphalt Strasse, daher kann es je nach Mietauto etwas holperig werden. Wir hatten eine Mittelklasse Auto und hatten keine Probleme.
Cornelia (8/5): Eintauchen in eine andere Welt - Ein wunderbares Hotel inmitten großartiger Landschaft und eigener Kaffee-Plantagen. Eine kleine Bar zur Selbstbedienung steht rund um die Uhr zur Verfügung, das Frühstück ist nicht überbordend aber sehr gut, mit frischen Eiern, viel Obst und allem was man braucht. Zu genießen auf der schönen Terrasse mit grandiosem Blick in den Garten mit Pool. Wir haben eine Kaffee-Führung mit gemacht, die amüsant, interessant und lehrreich war.

Maria (10/5): - Nos alojamos en casa principal y sin duda lo recomendamos, una experiencia inolvidable. La cama es muy cómoda, el entorno es precioso (atardecer inolvidable) y el personal es lo más amable que hemos encontrado en mucho tiempo, mención especial a Johanna. Toda la comida es casera y deliciosa. Hicimos además el tour del café y aprendimos mucho, gracias a Mateo. Ojalá poder volver algún dia.

Juliana (9/5): Schöner Aufenthalt im Grünen! - Tolle Hacienda in ruhiger Lage mitten im Grünen. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr nett und für Transport und alles hilfsbereit. Die Coffeetour war sehr informativ mit Rundgang auf der Farm. Man hört die anderen Gäste in das Zimmer, wenn sie länger auf sind im Aufenthaltsraum.
