• Fabian (10/5): - This beautiful and comfortable apartment has a terrace with a great view of the Nile and Luxor. The area is relaxed, yet close to the city center of Luxor. You can take a cheap boat taxi to the other side. Although the description said the apartment had a fully equipped kitchen, there was no stove or cooking utensils available.

• Ashton (5/5): For what we paid, I think it was a fair stay. - The Nile view was great however there was construction directly below the balcony. The location is easy for taxi transport and not far from sights. Walking distance to restaurants and market. Very spacious accommodation option. Friendly staff who let us check in early. The shower is tiny, the pipes burnt me when I touched them, the shower curtain allows water to go all over the floor so it ended up being wet. The kitchen is not useable - hardly any cutlery or crockery. The fridge works.

• Bo (10/5): 宾至如归 - 房子干净又宽敞，有大阳台，采光非常好，早上打开卧室门看到阳光从露台倾泻在客厅的地板上是一件非常治愈的事情，没有行程安排的时候就可以坐在露台上看尼罗河静静地流淌。房东人也非常好，提供东岸西岸游览包车服务，价格十分美丽。有一个本地人带着游览东岸和西岸真的十分重要，省去了和其他出租车司机沟通的麻烦。房东还带我们尝试了非常本土的埃及早餐，是十分新奇的体验，整个旅途十分愉快。非常推荐这家guest house，让你在卢克索的旅途省心又安心！
• Isabel (8/5): - Sehr schoenes Apartment mit Blick auf den Nil. Das Apartment war sauber und mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet. Ganz in der Naehe gibt es einen Supermarkt und direkt nebenan einen kleinen Kiosk. Das Apartment liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend und man ist fusslaeufig von der oeffentlichen Faehre entfernt. Der Besitzer des Apartmenthauses ist sehr hilfreich und freundlich. Vielen Dank fuer den schoenen Aufenhalt.
• Ads (9/5): Hard to find better on the West Bank - Fantastic location. Spacious apartment. The staff are superb. Very helpful and helped me with driving me around and referring me to a massage and more. The kitchen on the rooftop was great for cooking. Restaurants just a short walk next door or up the road. I wish all my hotels were this helpful and kind. For the price, there is nothing that I didn't like. The ferry to East bank is directly in front of the Apartment so location is amazing.

• DIE (1/5): 不要住这！！！ - 没有 1.入住和退房取行李总是要等很久找人过来开门 2.不干净，有床虫(bed bug my god)，第二天身上好多包 3.员工很想让我订他们的包车，当我询问去帝王谷的行程，告诉我要15美金往返，然而当地app的往返价格不超过4美金🙃how dare you!!!!! 4.一开始员工带我到二层的房间，可以眺望尼罗河，结果另一个人过来说我是花园景的房间，让我搬去了一层(看不到尼罗河)，问题是我的房间图片里有眺望尼罗河景色的照片，当天也只有我一个人入住，我不明白他们为什么宁愿得罪我，也要让我住一个差房间，这就是你们应得的报应 (顺带一提，booking上并没有河景房的选项) 4.河景房这附近多的是，位置这么偏的就这家了，不要订这里，去哪里都不方便

• Penchan (8/5): Very good - Luxor Plaza House is a nice place to stay on the West Bank. Comfortable, quiet, and peaceful. The room is spacious, and when you open the window, you can see the Nile River. You can also go up to the rooftop to enjoy the surrounding views. The boat station to cross the Nile river is less than 5 minutes walking. The owner is kind and the staff are also very nice. I felt like I was at home very relaxing during stay here!
• Margarita (9/5): Superb - The apartment is spacious and offers a nice balcony with a stunning view on the Nile and Luxor City. It is located on the West Bank and therefore makes it a little oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the city, still close to nice restaurants. Mahmoud, the host, was very responsive and helpful with any request. A refresh of the sofas and carpets would improve the overall comfort and the bathroom could use better maintenance. However, given the price, it offers a great value.

• Bay (10/5): Best place to stay in West Bank, Luxor - Ive stayed 6 nights here. I love everything about this place. The location was great, near to restaurants and the city is just opposite the house where you can just cross by the boat. The host - Mahmoud was very helpful about everything and I even took a tour and felucca ride from him. Great value for money and highly recommanded None

• Susan (10/5): Couple from USA - We are a couple from the United States and stayed 6 nights at the Luxor Plaza House. We have traveled a lot and Egypt can be challenging with help from someone knowledgeable. We messaged the owner, Mahmoud, and he arranged airport pickup for us. When we arrived we asked him to plan out 5 days for us. He sat down with us and came up with many things for us to do. He took care of finding guides and drivers for us. There was no hassle. He took care of us very well. My only advice for travelers would be to contact him before your stay so he can get everything scheduled easily. We didn't do that but should have. If you don't want to be hassled then let Mahmoud take care of you. If you prefer to do it all on your own, he is ok with that too. We liked sitting on the balcony in the morning overlooking the Nile River. The place is dated but clean. Staff were very nice. I thought it was a very nice visit.

• Rahul (10/5): Great views and good hospitality !! - We had a wonderful stay with exceptional hospitality. Mahmoud helped arranging tours, transport, and even a balloon ride. He is a smart and hardworking businessman after all, but also ensures good value for guests with reasonable prices. The caretaker, Ahmed, was incredibly attentive, always checking in to make sure we were comfortable. The view of the Nile from the apartment was truly nice.

And when i ask for help, i was told that it is normal to have one in the room. If i could find another option i would definetly run away from there. • Marta (8/5): Great value apartment on the quiet west bank - Luxor Plaza House is on the quiet west bank, located within walking distance to the public ferry, several restaurants and shops. The apartment is very spacious with a beautiful view over the Nile from the lounge room and balcony. The bedroom was clean and the bed was comfortable. Air-conditioning worked well. Fridge, kettle and mugs were provided in the kitchen. The apartment was a little dated. The bedroom and bathroom were clean but other areas could do with a refresh - there were smears and stains on the walls, the fridge doors and bench tops.

• Shah (8/5): Very good - Our first time visit to Egypt and we kick started the tour with Luxor. After almost 8 hours flight from hometown to cairo then waiting around 5 hours in Cairo airport. Then took an hour flight to Luxor. We were tired as tired as one can be. Thankfully we booked the apartment we stayed at beforehand and the owner was kind enough to arrange transportation for airport pick up. The owner of the apartment we stayed at, Mr. Mahmoud Alam is cheerful and very helpful gentleman. He arranged airport pick up as well as arranged guided tour for us according to our request. He made sure we had a guide who was knowledgeable about the history of the amazing sights we got see. Our guide was Mr. Sallam. We enjoyed his companion very much. With him Mr. Yeser drove us around the places amd he is a very good driver and very polite young man. Our stay was very comfortable and our apartment right in front of the mighty river Nile. Mr. Mahmoud even provided us with transportation for airport drop off. Thanks to him we had a wonderful amd stress free stay in Luxor.

• Benjamín (10/5): Exceptional - Mahmoud was an incredible person, he helped us in everything we needed, he organized the balloon trip, a private all day tour through the Valley of the Kings and the Hatshepsut temple with a guide in Spanish that explained everything to us and gave us all the time to enjoy and meet. He also organized the transfer to Aswan with a stop at Kom Ombo and Edfu temples, all at very fair and good prices. The accommodation is incredible the views from the terrace to the Nile both day and night are unmissable, it is all clean and has all the comforts to be a very good place to rest and recover. Totally recommended!! All was perfect!

• Nikki (9/5): Lovely apartment stay in Luxor - After the busy days in Cairo and Giza, we found the perfect quiet spot in Luxor, right by the Nile River. This apartment was just what we needed. It’s away from the busy part of the area but still very close to some cozy eateries by the river with a cool, local vibe. The apartment had everything we needed, with a great balcony that looked out over the Nile. Watching the sunrise and the felucca sailboats in the afternoon from here was really special. It’s also in a peaceful spot, so sleeping was easy with just the sound of birds outside – super relaxing. The owner, Mahmoud, was really helpful. He even arranged a transfer for us to Sohag Airport when we were leaving. We’d definitely stay here again if we come back to Luxor. During our stay, the village experienced power outages for about 2 hours in early afternoons, though this was beyond the control of the apartment.

• Lianxue (10/5): Exceptional - The hotel has a wonderful location where I felt the Nile could be touched. The scenery from the balcony was beyond my imagination. The host was funny and friendly. Booking tours from the hotel was more convenient and cheaper than some trip agencies. The host invited us to have traditional Egyptian breakfast in his own restaurant. He is a very lovely man whom we could communicate easily with. We enjoyed our time with the host and his staff.

The location on the west bank of Nile is perfect as it gives great morning views of the sunrise over the Nile as well as as convenient if you want to catch a ferry to the other side. The host, Mahmoud, was amazing and very welcoming. The best part of this property was the hospitality shown by Mahmoud. He also organised our Luxor tour and the balloon rides himself which was very convenient for me as I was traveling with family, including a toddler. The host was forthcoming on all issues and even gave us a tour of the local markets himself. Not much you can ask for.

• Varsha (7/5): Good - An extremely spacious apartment with a kitchen. Plenty of space to relax and wind down after a long day. The view of the Nile was the highlight. We were allowed to check out late too. The room was rather dusty owing to its location. The manager, although very friendly, was a little pushy about the tours he could offer.
• Marius (9/5): Superb - Location and the room. Beatiful view of the Nile from the balcony. The roof also has amazing views. Kitchen on the roof to cook own meals. Not much, just one of the owners son a bit pushy in selling his tours, visit his shop, you know, egyptian style.
• Forhad (10/5): A pharos rest - Fantastic value for money and perfect sojourn to appreciate luxor. The hotel is right across the river and motorboats are readily available for cheap ferry across. The balcony is a great place to relax, offering a great view of the river, the fellucas sailing past and the sunrise in the east. This is exactly why we booked it. It's away from the hustle and bustle of luxor. There are local shops and restaurants. Our favourite was a local restaurant that Mahmoud, the owner, introduced us to for breakfast. Mahmoud is a great host, reliable and trustworthy. He can atrange tours and taxis for you. He offers honest prices for tours and cabs etc. When we had an issue with our hot air balloons he helped us resolve it with the provider. The only thing I could mention is that the place was clean but don't think it had been dusted before our arrival.
• Barry (9/5): A great spot to stay and experience everything Luxor has to offer! - Property is located right along the river and makes for beautiful views during all hours of the day/night! Ice cold AC in the bedroom so sleeping was very comfortable. Mahmoud is a great host and very accommodating. He is very dedicated to creating a great experience for you in Luxor. We did a private guided tour of Luxor, Karnak, Valley of the Kings, etc. hot air balloon, Feluca ride, and lunches all coordinated through him. The house is located on the west side of the Nile, meaning you’ll need to take a boat across to get to the more touristy restaurants / bigger hotels. The boat ride is very reasonably priced, offered at all hours, and a great way to cool off. The west side is also much calmer and relaxing. Fixtures are a bit dated and cleanliness could be slightly improved - but overall a tremendous value for what you’re spending. Don’t book this place if you’re expecting the Four Seasons because that’s just not fair to anyone. Tours offered through the host are superb, our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, and transport was always on time. That said, pricing is not 100% clear or transparent. Highly recommend you do your research on comparable tours and negotiate an agreeable rate.
• Goober (10/5): Simply the best place to stay in Luxor - View, Quiet! Staff, close to choice of good restaurants. Usual attempt at selling trips, rides etc immediately upon arrival after you have just made a long journey !

After two days of asking for a wifi when we needed it, they gave us one finally, but on the night before ckeck out...when we didnt need it anymore

• Anonymous (10/5): peaceful, stunning view and a lovely host with great staff.. - everything was beautiful, the bed was super comfortable, the view was magnificent, mamoud was such a great host he took care of all my requests swiftly and cared a great deal about the comfort of my stay, if you want anything he will take care of you 100 percent, I also took a felucca ride with mamouds brother mamoud he also looked after me so well, hot food lots of yummy tea and great conversation with a view, thank you for a such an amazing time! I’ll be back again soon ❤️ everything was great I can’t complain about anything..

• Goober (10/5): A real treat - Situated away from the noise of the East side but a mere couple of minutes boat ride to the temples of Luxor is this jewel of a stay. We have been in Egypt for three months, travelling from Alexandria to Abu Simbel and will stay here again on our way back, avid travelers of many countries and the first time we have stayed in an apartment twice. Fabulous

• Jan (10/5): Exceptional - During our trips in Egypt we stayed in many places startings from B&Bs, to hostels to 5 Star hotels. However, I must say that Luxor Plaza House offered the best value for money. The beds were long and mattress comfortable. The place is located on the West bank. You need more time to get there from the airport, train station or the city centre, but it's closer to most of the Luxor tourist attractions. It's quiet. We spent an entire day with Mohammed (the owner of the place), who was our guide during our stay in Luxor. He took us to places we would not otherwise see. Thank you Mohammed for this great experience. The biggest 4 biggest advantagest of this place include: - Mohammed - good quality to to price ratio - the area is quiet - wonderful view on the Nile River
• Richard (9/5): Simply the beat location and facilities on the West Bank. - The location is excellent for those wanting peace and river views. It stands towards the end of the West Bank tourist strip and thereby avoids the busier life nearer the ferry. The apartments are beautifully designed and generally equipped and the staff were generally very helpful particularly in providing us with internet, improved views and tea. We were put in the wrong room for 2 of the 5 day stay which caused some inconvenience and a mid stay room change. The breakfast was modest with cold eggs. However the beauty of the accommodation and location remained the dominant factor and I would certainly recommend this accommodation.
• Claire (10/5): Lovely home on the West Bank. - We booked for three nights but ended up staying for a week. Mahmoud is a kind and reliable host who goes out of his way to make his guests happy. We booked several tours with him to the West Bank sights and went sailing one evening on a felucca. He introduced us to his favorite restaurants and helped us toward our next destination. The apartment was simple but clean and had a lovely balcony with a view of the Nile. The kitchen was underequipped but with so many nice restaurants nearby, we would not have cooked our meals at home anyway. And Mahmoud can provide what you ask for. He’s very accommodating.
