- Raul (10/5): The owners were very kind and hospitable. The room was corn and well maintained - Friendly clean and comfortable N/a
- Tyler (8/5): Lovely family stay - Stunning little cabin right in the heart of the jungle.
It’s well equipped with everything you could possibly need. It gives you a true ‘sleeping in the jungle’ experience, if that is what you are after.
The main hi-light for me was staying with the family, it’s almost as good as a traditional home stay where you get to experience the family culture. As mentioned, it is in the jungle so beware of lots of noise or bugs that could keep you up if you’re not comfortable with them.
Wouldn’t recommend if you don’t have a car as it is quite far away from anything else.

- Markus (10/5): - Da passte alles. Tolle Unterkunpft und sehr liebe Menschen
- Caroline (10/5): Amazing! - The place is incredible, right in the heart of the rainforest. The cabin is comfortable, with everything you need. The family who runs the finca is very welcoming; I felt right at home. I highly recommend this place—it's a real gem! /
- Luka (9/5): Wonderful private cabin with great raised porch and surroundings. - It's very private, a real cabin in the jungle vibe with wonderful raised porch to relax. Owners are nice and helpful and offer coffee and chocolate tour as well. There's a path from the cabin leading to a small river and the plantations. Towels were a bit stained, could be replaced. Also I suggest putting some gravel on the parking because if it gets muddy a car could get stuck there (mine was close to being stuck, I didn't have 4x4).
It's not for everyone, you will find ants and spiders in the cabin, there is no hot water (wasn't cold either but definitely not warm). I'm not saying this as a negative per se, just somethig to consider before booking.
- Bronia (7/5): Nice place to stay for a few days if you want to go basic and rustic. You’ll need a car for definite. - Very rustic and felt like you were in the forest, saw lots of birds, frogs and sloths . Because it was surrounded by high trees it was quite dark and depressing on rainy days.
- Tobias (10/5): The loveliest Finca you can find in La Fortuna area - We had a really lovely stay! The cabin is located on the premises right in the forest. Although it gets very dark by night it always felt safe and the family gave us flash lights. The cabin is spacious and equipped with everything you need and it was very clean and tidy. The family is amazing and they prepared varieties of typical breakfasts for us. You can see a lot of wildlife on the night tours and find sloths (or they find them for you). There are restaurants, shops and Termales nearby (car is recommended). 10/10 you should stay there at least 2 nights!! You might need a car to get there and get around. If you have that there will be nothing missing!
- scott (8/5): - The location was great. The hosts were attentive. As expected, simole cabin in the woods. Did not realize we had to walk a liitle though muddy woods to get to cabin. Super nice hosts but did not know they spoke no english.
- marjon (10/5): - This location is for nature lovers. Don't expert luxury but only nature. The cabina is on the proporty of a very friendly family. They will help you with everything and all tour questions. Maybe some pins in the cabina to hang on clothes or a towel. Maybe a map with all the animals who live in the forest.
- René (8/5): Perfect stay - The location of the cabin was perfect, but the best were the hosts: Very nice family.
- Anja (8/5): Farm experience - Lovely hosts! In any case do a coffee tour there. This made it a great experience. For the overnight stay you need to be a bit adventurous and 100% nature loving - there are a lot of insects and no mosquito nets or other protection.
- Peggy (10/5): Exceptional - This is a very clean, rustic tiny home on a family farm with everything you might need to cook, clean and enjoy your stay. The cabin is in a forest area separated from anyone else. We saw a javelina and sloth right outside our door and could hear toucans and monkeys in the forest. After turning out the lights at night we saw fireflies in the room. Their daily tour was interesting and fun. We initially worried about bugs and spiders. Got over that quickly and trusted it was safe and loved everything about it.
- Alina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Francesco (10/5): We really enjoyed our experience !! Full immersed Ingo the nature and Ingo the heart of Costa Rica ! far from Italy we f - The Place is simply amazing!!
- Yan (10/5): Exceptional -
