- Sophie (5/5): - Son emplacement et son roof top vue sur les pyramides, on ne s’en lasse pas État des draps L’hôtel nous propose une journée guide + chauffeur pour la journée , Gizah, Sakkara, Memphis pour 40€/ personne .ok Mais insiste bcp pour y ajouter un lunch à 15€/ personne. A l’heure du déjeuner , on nous dépose devant un restaurant local, à la propreté douteuse pour le plat typique égyptien. On demande eau + café . Et le restaurant nous demande de payer cela . Le plat typique , le Kochari, coûte 120 livres egyptiennes(=2 €) Donc clairement du vol. Ne prenez pas la proposition du lunch!

The staff are incredibly kind, friendly, respectful, and helpful — in the end, we all became friends :) Greetings to Muhamed — he is very warm and helpful. The breakfasts are very filling, and they can offer both traditional and vegetarian options. The girl working in the café has an angelic warmth. Also, the hotel café is open all day long. Although the room has everything you need (air conditioning and a kettle), it’s important to remember that this is Egypt, and the renovation was not done with great attention to small details. But the warmth and helpfulness of the people make up for everything! It was also very clean. And the view of the pyramids really is exactly like in the photos. The hotel is also only a 1–2 minute walk from the ticket office entrance.

Номер дуже втомлений і пошарпаний, все розвалюється, на ліжку було чиєсь волосся. Сейфу не було, але все ок пройшло, шумно.

- Rossi (1/5): The Manager of this hotel is a Conman and Stole my money and Sold my Room to Someone else paying more money. STAY AWAY ! - This Owner of this Hotel is a Thief and Conman. He stole my money and Sold my Queen Suite to someone else paying more for the Room. He hasn’t refunded my money for THREE MONTHS. I paid for the QUEEN SUITE and travelled all the way from the United Kingdom. The Manager of this Hotel SCAMMED me of $103. He double sold my room to someone else who paid more for the room. He then tried to make me stay in another cheap bad room. I refused and asked for a refund. The Manager then told me to cancel on Booking.com and he will approve it. He pretended to write them an email in front of me. He kept my money, didn’t write the email and didn’t cancel my booking. I will be contacting the Cairo Egyptian Police about this matter also.

Sin - Me gustó que la gente que trabaja allí es muy amable. La primer habitación en la que estuve estaba buena pero no era la que yo pedí Hice dos reservas, un día en una suite frente a las pirámides y 3 días en una habitación normal. La suite no era la que yo reservé, me dieron otra que salía más barata que la de mi reserva. Era linda pero no era lo que pedí, la habitación normal de los siguientes días no tenía ventanas ni extractores ni en la habitacion ni en el baño

- Mehmet Naci (8/5): Rahat konforlu ve manzara harika. - Tesis çok temiz ve imkanları fazlaydı Gizaa’nın tam girişinde bulunuyor teras katta kahvaltı yaparken piramitleri çok rahat izleyebilirsiniz sadece resepsiyon sorumlusunun ilgi alakası düşüktü. Çalışanlardan Amina çok yardim sever ve alaka gösteriyor. Bizi kendisi papirüs mağazasına götürdü. Çalışanlar daha fazla yardim etmesi lazım. Amina isimli kisi sadece yardimci olmaya calisti.
- Jean François (6/5): Très déçue - Nous sommes au pied des pyramides, donc plutôt bien situé. La vue du rooftop est magnifique. Le petit-déjeuner inclus est très bon même si tout n'est pas à notre goût bien sûr. La Dame du petit-déjeuner était extrêmement gentille et souriante. C'était notre rayon de soleil du matin 🤗 Comme vu dans d'autres commentaires, nous n'avons pas eu la chambre avec balcon et vue sur le Sphinx alors que j'avais demandé par message confirmation 15 jours avant et que on m'avait certifié que je l'aurai. Après une annulation de ma réservation sans frais, nous avons eu une petite chambre puis le lendemain ,une nouvelle avec une fenêtre donnant sur une pyramide. Mais ce n'était pas terrible. Dans la première chambre, la douche mettait de l'eau partout dans la salle de bain et sur les toilettes... Dans la seconde chambre, nous n'avions pas de climatisation, ce qui était très embêtant avec la chaleur. Les chambres donnant côté rue sont extrêmement bruyantes dès 5h du matin car les gens hurlent dehors...

The driver didn't wait for us even though we landed before scheduled arrival time and passed visas and passport control immediately. We couldn't reach the reception through WhatsApp for 30 minutes so we didn't know that our driver drove away. Then they wrote that we can catch taxi on our own and that the driver was waiting because he sent the picture of the airport. Due to this we lost 1 hour and arrived to the hotel after midnight. If we knew we wouldn't search for the hotel driver at all and immediately find one on our own to not lose time. When we complained that the driver didn't wait we only received a "no problem" with a smile from the reception and they didn't offer any compensation when we arrived. - During pyramids opening hours it's impossible to order taxi exactly to the hotel, you have to walk a bit on foot because the cars can't enter the street - The room is not soundproof, you can hear the cars on the steet and people running up and down the stairs until late night - The air in the room and bathroom wasn't the freshest

The location is unbeatable—right at the entrance to the pyramids, it truly doesn’t get any better than this. Our host, Mira, was exceptional. Warm, kind, and genuinely welcoming, she made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. What really stood out was her incredible support when my bag was lost at the airport. Mira went above and beyond—following up for nearly two weeks, contacting the airport on our behalf, and continuing to help even after we had left Egypt. Thanks to her dedication, I was finally reunited with my bag. We are so grateful for her care and effort. Mira is truly one of a kind, and we couldn’t recommend this place more highly.

Posto tranquillo e silenzioso, personale squisito e disponibile (e un ringraziamento particolare alla ragazza della colazione, che tra una portata e l'altra ci ha insegnato anche qualche espressione locale). Ottimo e abbondante cibo locale, bottigliette d'acqua sempre a disposizione a colazione e in camera. Servirebbe un po' di manutenzione in bagno, dove la doccia che non chiude bene e lo scarico lento tendono a far bagnare il pavimento.

The rooftop offers what is honestly one of the most breathtaking views you could ever dream of. I could even see the pyramids directly from my bed, which made the whole experience feel surreal. The room was beautiful and comfortable. Everything felt clean and thoughtfully arranged. The location is ideal, especially if you want to fully enjoy the pyramids. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, always making sure I had everything I needed. The rooftop restaurant is also a great bonus, offering both local and European dishes, all very good. Overall, a perfect stay I’d definitely come back. Everything was perfect
- Kassandra (6/5): Bien placé. - Proximité avec les pyramides, et bien placé pour visiter les pyramides. La gentillesse du personnel. Je préconise de faire une à deux nuits maximum dans l’hôtel. Difficile de sortir de l’hôtel sans se faire accoster par les locaux. Prévoyez vos excursions à l’avance. Bruyant la nuit, le personnel est gentil mais tous ne parlent pas bien l’anglais, parfois difficile pour se faire comprendre. Les finitions (construction) des chambres ne sont pas faites correctement (eau qui stagne dans la douche) notamment. L’odeur des excréments chameaux, animaux en bas de l’hôtel, mais ils ne peuvent pas y faire grand chose je pense. Un peu sale malheureusement. Mais bien placé. Les repas du restaurant sont bien pour dépanner.

De kamer had geen raam, douche was kapot, om 23u begon men een hele verhuis van materiaal met heel veel lawaai - totaal geen respect ! Het gevoel van constant belazerd te worden door het personeel wanneer je vb taxi besteld (meer dan 4 maal de prijs van een Uber) uitstappen met de gids (eerst was alles inbegrepen, dan moest je de uitstappen zelf nog betalen) was uiterst onaangenaam. Bij het bezoek van Cairo met de gids hadden we een chauffeur en een gids die geen van beide cairo kenden en waaraan wij hebben moeten zeggen welke toeristische attracties we wilden zien…

Achtung: Bilder stimmen nicht .. kein Tisch, kein Stuhl, keine Lampe am Bett. In 3 Tagen keinen Kaffee wegen fehlenden Strom. Sind dann in die Rooftopbar ein paar Häuser weiter zum frühstücken gegangen. Der Preis dort lohnt sich! Es war bis nachts laut und morgens ab 5 Uhr auch wieder. Unerklärlich. - kislaya (10/5): - Our stay at Shadow Pyramid was very pleasant special thanks to the Meera, Mohammed and the whole crew. The biggest plus was the exceptional pyramid view. The staff was accommodating to our needs. For example, they adjusted to our timings of tours to give us breakfast. Meera helped us get the taxi to the railway station during peak hour when Uber was failing.

C'est pas pareil. L'endroit est super bien placé, juste en face des pyramides mais piles en face pour tout voir + le sphynx. Commodités en direct et entrée a coté (50m) si on ne passe pas par l'entrée principale. Les restaurant sont a coté (Recommandation pour le rooftop 7000 a 20metres de l'hotel 👌 Les chambres faces au pyramides sont spacieuse. Jaccuzi qui fuit. Et douche qui ne s'écoule pas correctement et donc innonde un peu la salle de bain.

- Romain (7/5): Malgré le prix, ne pas s'attendre à grand chose d'autre qu'une très belle vue pyramides - Emplacement au pieds des pyramides de Gizeh, à 50m de l'entrée Sphinx. Situé au bout de la rue cul-de-sac donc au calme. Belle vue depuis le rooftop et le balcon (assez spacieux) de notre chambre (panoramique suite view) Petit déjeuner copieux, au soleil, face aux pyramides (magique !) Une dame très souriante et dévouée nous a servi le premier jour. (l'homme serveur du lendemain était hélas antipathique et n'a livré que la moitié de ce que nous avions eu le premier jour) Soyez prévenus : Réceptionniste très pushy et insistant. A peine arrivés, il vous prend en tenaille 1h pour vous proposer ses activités. Nous avons fait le choix de lui faire confiance. C'était au final très très cher sachant qu'il fallait redonner par la suite des pourboires à tous les intervenants (hélas 45 min de quad au lieu des 1h30 annoncés, la visite du zouk traditionnel était en fait une parfumerie douteuse, ...). Nous ne vous recommandons donc pas de faire appel à eux. Vous pouvez aisément faire par vous même et donner directement l'argent aux intervenants (et ainsi les faire vivre). Jusqu'à la fin du séjour le réceptionniste a insisté pour nous vendre des activités. Nous aurions aimé que les responsables de l'établissement mettent autant de zèle pour nous livrer les serviettes de bain absentes (nous avons du relancer 3 fois). Concentrez vous sur les services de votre hôtel avant d'en proposer des extras :) Problème au moment du paiement de la chambre également : il a fallu se battre pour pouvoir régler par carte bancaire avec un TPE qui par miracle a fini par fonctionner... La chambre n'avait rien d'une suite (il n'y avait pas de chambre séparée comme annoncé). Pas d'intimité sur les balcons (tous en vis à vis). Vitres sales, dommage quand on a cette vue. Service calamiteux et désagréable au restaurant terrasse. L'impression de déranger. 45 min d'attente pour notre plat (alors qu'il n'y avait pas grand monde). Nous n'y avons plus mangé ensuite. Je vous conseille de faire de même et de prendre à manger à emporter sur votre balcon. Le rapport qualité prix global nous a paru moyen.

Es primera linea! Desde la habitación, te levantas con vistas a las pirámides si escoges la habitación con vistas. Una chica de la recepción, con pañuelo en la cabeza, lo mejor de la estancia. Es la que mas nos ayudó en todo momento Nos cambiaron la habitación que habíamos pagado. La excusa fue que la habitación estaba rota, pero era mentira, había gente en la habitación. Nos dieron una con jacuzzi (que estaba roto, no tienen presión de agua caliente) y pensaban que nos iba a dar igual. Intentan engañarte la gente de la recepción, diciéndote que están los comercios cerrados a ciertas horas, para que compres en las tiendas de comida de sus familiares. Estaba todo abierto, restaurantes, teterias, tiendas etc etc... todo el mundo intenta engañarte y te dicen que como somos ricos los turistas, que no nos importa... Incluso los jefes/dueños del hotel intentaron engañarnos... Con los tesoros turísticos que tienen en esta ciudad y país, no entiendo como pueden tratar así a los clientes.

The breakfast was good and view from the rooftop was excellent. I was not given the king deluxe suite with panoramic window views of the pyramids that l had booked. They said it wasn’t available and gave me a downgraded small double bed room with small windows and no view. When l complained they said someone else had booked it for an extra night and they said they would give me a better room at their hotel next door. This room was actually even worse, a tiny, ugly room that was on a lower floor than the room l booked and the view of the pyramids was obstructed by trees. I was very unhappy but was left with no choice if l wanted a bed for the night. They did not offer me a refund or any compensation. I would never trust this hotel again!
