- Roslyn (9/5): -
- Jennifer (8/5): Wonderful property - Open plan, windows opening to wildlife, close to nature, comfortable beds, fireplace, Bbq, washing machine. Inadequate response for help to get air conditioner/heater to work.
- Karina (9/5): Perfect location & facilities. Relaxing and comfortable. Definitely recommend!! - Location was perfect for the Textile Forum held each year at Halls Gap. Spacious and comfortable house. All the facilities we needed. The water pressure was amazing so the showers were a definite highlight to have at the end of the day to ease our weary bones. We had to replace the battery for the smoke alarm as it failed and kept beeping, fortunately it was the one in the hall so easy to get to. There were alot of lights blown. No outside lights worked at all, therefore no BBQing was to be had. Some of the Bedside lamps had blown as well. Minor things but the outside lights would have been great.
- Sarah (8/5): Good base to explore Halls gap from. - Great location, good size inside. Bathroom recently renovated and hard flooring was new too. Accomodation was as advertised. Close to the centre of town. Aircon only in living area. No fans in rooms. Outside deck looks onto the back of another unit.
- Danielle (6/5): - Location was good House was Dusty and needed to have cobwebs cleaned. Ceiling fan was extremely Dusty and needs a good clean.
- Anthony (10/5): A delightful place to stay. - Halls Gap Retreat is in a quiet street with plenty of room to park the car, and many kangaroos and cockatoos. The house is spacious with a large kitchen, a pleasant lounge room and very comfortable beds. Warmly recommended. Nothing to dislike.
- Dee (10/5): Bed, bathroom and kitchen amenities are great. Grateful to be able to bring our dog. Location is perfect with walking di - Perfect location Lounge room chairs werenβt comfortable
- Kate (3/5): Disappointing. Avoid - Bed was comfortable. Good location There are not enough dining and arm chairs for the number of people that it is advertised for. It is stark, with no decorations or homely touches, bare wall, no games, books etc. There were very basic cooking facilities and no BBQ. There is air conditioning in the main lounge room only. The rest of the house was uncomfortably hot. The outdoor furniture was uncomfortable and falling to bits ( with not enough chairs) ! There was shampoo but no soap, teabags and coffee but no milk
- Paw (10/5): Exceptional - The inside is clean The outside is a bit messy
- Christine (8/5): Loved it. - Three spacious double debrooms. Separate toilet from bathroom. Large living area. TV did not work.
- Rita (8/5): Overall,we had an amazing time, thank you .π - Location ,absolutely beautiful..Pet friendly π..House had everything we needed The bathroom needs a new fan and a drain or shower door..The floor gets very wet and becomes a slip hazard..The mattress on all the beds were very hard and lots of spider webs on the ceilings and corners..I cleaned some for you,but still lots left..No spray and wipe for cleaning and no toilet spray π
- Elizabeth (10/5): Extremely comfortable and peaceful as well as being close to the township. - Halls Gap Retreat was spacious and extremely comfortable for six people and one well-trained dog to share (he had his own large crate to sleep in overnight). The kitchen had everything we needed and the wifi was much appreciated. The house was in a very quiet area with a view to the mountains, only just over a kilometre to the township. Warmly recommended and we look forward to our next visit. Nothing to dislike!
- Karen (8/5): Very good -
- Jillian (7/5): Area great linen great disappointed with clean loss standard and some appointments ie knives rediculously blunt etc - Good location wildlife etc easy to book in Sheets and towels wonderful - otherwise, small vacuum unusable as completely full of dirt cleanliness not great cobwebs in toilet and skirting boards. front porch dirty lots of cobwebs minor litter left on hutch No additional rubbish bag just one in the small bin We expect better
