• Ronit (6/5): מקום עם פוטנציאל אבל מפוספס - נוף נדיר מיטה נקיה ונוחה, אם כי קטנה הגענו בשעת הצ׳ק אין והמקום נראה נטוש איש התחזוקה הגיע רק כעבור שעתיים ולא התנצל מטבח מלוכלך ולא נעים לשימוש הגעה למקום בכביש תלול

• Marion Freiburg (9/5): Hübsches Haus an schöner Lage, geführt von einer sehr liebevollen Gastgeberin - Die Lage am Ortsrand und die Aussicht auf die Berge ist wunderschön. Der Wanderweg zur Gruta San Pedro läuft direkt am Haus vorbei. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Freundlichkeit der Gastgeberin. Sie hat sich rührend um meinen erkrankten Partner gekümmert, stündlich frischen Tee gekocht und ein Taxi für die Rückfahrt nach La Paz organisiert. Muchas gracias, senora Unser Bus kam früher an und wir mussten ein Weile warten, bis jemand kam um uns das Zimmer zu zeigen. Da wir im Garten warten konnten, war dies kein Problem.
• Ledermann (8/5): Im Hotel waren wir bestens aufgehoben. Allerdings gab es in n Sorata für uns nichts zu tun. - Die Besitzerin war ausgesprochen freundlich und hat uns mit bolivianischem Abendessen überrascht. War sehr gut! Außerdem hat sie für uns gewaschen und gebügelt! Vielen Dank

• Marina (7/5): Quiet place in nature, but overpriced - We had a quiet and charming room with a nice view and a balcony and the elderly man apparently managing the place was very friendly. The location at the end of the village is not very convenient, except if you want to go to the Gruta de San Pedro and the hostel is also not very easy to find. The water in the shower was rather cold. I am not sure about other places to stay in Sorata, but this one seemed overpriced. The price on Booking was already quite high, but then we were asked to pay even more. The elderly man told us this was the price the owner (living in the US) told him, and in the end we did not want to argue with him.
