- Shehab (10/5): A convenient and comfortable stay in one of London’s best locations. - The location was excellent — right in the heart of Chelsea and very close to shops, restaurants, and transport links. The studio was clean, practical, and had everything I needed for a short stay. The staff were polite and helpful throughout the check-in and check-out process. The room could benefit from a little modern refresh, and the Wi-Fi connection was a bit weak at times, but overall it didn’t affect my stay.
- Joann (6/5): - Location No TV
- Marjoline (10/5): A pleasant and convenient stay - The location was absolutely perfect — right in the heart of Chelsea with easy access to shops, cafés, and the Underground. The studio was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped for a short stay. The staff were professional and accommodating, making check-in and check-out smooth and hassle-free.

the bed was comfortable. there is wifi
if you are a single traveler and doesn't care much about cleanness and comfort, it might be a good choice for you to stay here because of the location. we were quite nervous at the time of the arrival. because this building is actually not a hotel. there are many owners of the units, so you have to wait for the owner to contact you to hand you over the key to be able to enter the room. i wasn't informed about this matter so this made us very nervous at the time of the arrival. also the people at the reception was talking very suspiciously and making you feel like you are scammed... but the owner replied us promptly so it was ok.
secondly, the room is actually super small for 2 people. When you enter you will not see a bed, that is actually folded backwards, towards the wall. so we thought there is no bed at the first time when we entered the room. but the owner came and showed us the folding bed and wifi etc. i thank him for his prompt response and accessibility. but unfortunately, the room does not look like the photos.. all the equipment is old/ not give you a nice feeling of use. sanitaries are also not giving you a clean feeling, to be honest, we felt very dirty all the time, it wasn't comfortable even going to the toilet and having a shower.. towels have stains, i guess they were not clean.
at the end, we were looking forward to leaving the place asap and very much disappointed. it isn't worth it at this price. you can find better, cleaner places at this price. because actually, we thought it could be a good place because the price was not cheap. but certainly not. I'm sorry that we spent this amount for this much discomfort.
- Denitsa (2/5): Avoid This Property at All Costs - While the location in central London initially seems appealing, the flat itself is in terrible condition and not livable. Save yourself the hassle—look elsewhere! I want to start by saying to avoid renting this property at any cost. The photos on the listing are misleading and do not accurately represent the state of the apartment.
Upon arrival, I found the flat extremely rundown and falling apart. It desperately needs painting, and the flooring is damaged. The windows are poorly insulated ( with masking tape!) leaving the place uncomfortably cold. Despite the central heating in the building, it wasn’t turned on during my stay in October, and I had to sleep in a jumper and cashmere bottoms on top of my pajamas just to stay warm.
The furniture isn't any better; the chair was stained, and the desk had noticeable damage. I immediately raised my concerns upon check-in, and while landlord responded the next day and showed me some other properties, they were no improvement. I was moved to another flat that was not better ( and not even adversities here) and m still freezing. I ended up having to sleep in an inadequate situation while I was working in London.
When I attempted to cancel my booking for a refund, I was denied, and the manager suggested a shady arrangement where I would pay him cash for a partial refund, which felt very dodgy. I ultimately had to move out after only 2 nights ( even thought I paid for 8 night) and hire another much nicer property via AirBnB, just slightly more expensive, and it's been a relief.
My advice is to steer clear of this place. It’s better to spend a little more for a comfortable stay or consider accommodations further out in London to avoid the issues I faced here. Unfortunately, the current management has not been cooperative regarding my refund request either and had complete ignored my messages.
- Arlindo (3/5): Poor - Location only The flat needs urgent renovation, a TV in the 20th century is a must have! But it doesn't have, shades for the clarity is a must.
- Linzi (10/5): Amazing location, great value, cute little studio - Location is great. People need to be mindful of what you’re paying in a location like this!
It’s a cosy studio, but has lots of amenities considering the size. The host was very kind in bringing a fan quickly, and let me check-in early when I asked. Nothing!
- Georgina (1/5): Bad -
- Nahoko (5/5): Passable -
- Deb (8/5): A great place to stay for a great price. - The owner was kind and obliging. Cost to stay was brilliant for such a great location. View of the city was beautiful. Needed a little updating but the owner is planning this. A television may have been nice.
- Dale (6/5): Small, relatively clean good location only 5 minute walk to South Kensington tube. - Location and value for money Just ok, probably better for just 1 person, getting out of the shower was a bit dicey with a large step down and very tight
- Karen (8/5): Good accomodation for Chelsea Flower show - Central A little dated and needs redecorating
- Arash (1/5): Bad -
- Zukovcom (10/5): I highly recommend and will definitely come back again - Great location, the apartment was very clean and comfortable. Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby as well as a metro station and bus stop. Very efficient communication and superb service. I highly recommend and will definitely come back again. Thanks Hany!
- Wyana (1/5): STAY AWAY - The location This is one of the worst travel experiences of my life. I don’t want to confuse this particular rental with the wonderful Chelsea Cloisters hotel. This is a private residence located in the building. It all started after a 12+ hour flight, I arrived and the flat was so run down, gross and the size of a postage stamp. I tried to get on with it and look past it because I was only in town a short time and I was EXHAUSTED. I looked past the place not having a door handle, no toilet paper, no properly flushing toilet, the worlds smallest shower, hair covered sink, toilet and bed linen, and the dead lights in the kitchen…but when I woke up at 6am covered in bug bites… I lost it.
Still dead tired from traveling I immediately contacted the property. With zero response until following up again at 4pm, I had to get out of there. I booked another room in the building so that I could sleep. Btw: I highly recommend staying at Chelsea Cloisters but only book directly from the building NOT from this private manager. It was night and day… clean, updated.. not run down and filled with smashed bugs on the wall… yes… bugs… on the wall.
After I FINALLY heard back from the manager, he said he would not refund ANY of my money. I literally spent hours there and he WOULD NOT give me my money back for the days I didn’t stay there. He was rude, unresponsive and clearly does not CARE what happens after he gets his money.
This was not how I wanted to spend my vacation. Scrambling to get accommodations at 6am and paying double the amount because some slumlord doesn’t think he needs to give customers back their money. I am disgusted. Hopefully Booking.com will help make this right. You should feel safe and comfortable when you pay for accommodations on this site.
PHOTO of one of the bug bites I woke up to, smashed bug on wall, hairy toilet and lovely light filled kitchen
- Mark (4/5): If your 18 and looking for somewhere to is - Tiny So small barely fit one person in there 2 people would have been crowded there is no TV. It
Felt like a dormitory room and a small one at that
- Cedric (8/5): Very good -
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mónica (10/5): 5 stars: location, cleanliness, proximity to shops, quiet area, friendly host - The location was 5 stars, right in the center, close to all commerce and places of cultural interest, shops, etc. The apartment was very clean, had all the conditions, wardrobe, impeccable bathroom with towels, very clean sheets and very comfortable bed. The service at reception was also friendly, I needed to make photocopies and they were available free of charge, very friendly. The neighbors were quiet, a very calm and peaceful place in a good neighborhood. The host was always contactable and available. The whole process was very easy, we arrived and collected the keys from the safe, everything went very well. The only negative thing is that it didn't have a microwave, it just had an oven. As I went for work I didn't have time to cook and I bought pre-made meals that come in plastic packaging and can't be put in the oven. And they only had pots, pans and frying pans that weren't enough to put the food in the oven. I would advise you to invest in a microwave or some covers
- Rehana (8/5): It was a lively stay and cconviniently located in a safe neighbourhood, with planty of shops and food outlets. - Very a comadating and helpful with queries. The property was very small
- Judita2023 (8/5): Very good -
- Lucia (8/5): Very good -
- Min (5/5): tiny yet convenient studio - location is okay, and the fact you have a kitchenette and washer/ dryer is great had bugs in the bathroom and the room is tiny, the elevator is terribly slow
- Emily (8/5): Great location and value for money - no frills place - Great location, just a few minutes' walk from South Kensington tube station. Flat was very clean and comfortable and the views over London were great. There weren't any coffee making facilities (no cafetiere or machine) and the kitchen window was very drafty - I'd imagine it would be very cold in the winter.
- Mihaela (9/5): Superb -
- Le (8/5): Very good -
