La personne qui nous a reçu était adorable et nous a même aidé à réserver une excursion. Le seul petit bémol c'est le 3ème étage sans ascenseur, pour nous ça allait, mais faut l'avoir en tête avant une réservation.

• Leda (8/5): - We were looking for somewhere to stay near the Ben Thanh Market our last night in Vietnam. We had a group of 17 people and needed 7 rooms. We were only going to be there until 2:30am so we didn't want to spend a ton. This fit the bill perfectly. We ended up only getting 6 rooms, I think between the chaos of 17 people and so many rooms and we were a little early so they were still finishing up. It worked out fine for us though and the landlord felt terrible once she figured it out upon check-out. Things to be aware of, there is no elevator and the stairs are a bit tight and windy. So kinda difficult maneuvering luggage. It is about half-way down a very narrow walking alley and difficult to find. We didn't feel unsafe but it was definitely something to consider if you have young kids. I would stay here again when looking for an inexpensive place in the city near the market. The rooms are small so if you plan on hanging out in the rooms I would look for somewhere else. It was very clean and the owner was so kind. I would recommend it!
• Michael (9/5): Solid & Comfy Guesthouse at District 1 - Stayed at Sunny Guesthouse in Ho Chi Minh City and had a good experience overall. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the location in District 1 is super strategic—easy to get around. Great value for the price. A few small downsides: the bathroom floor can be quite slippery, the wall outlet is hard to reach since it’s behind the bed, and there’s no lift (so be prepared if you have heavy luggage).

• Ve. A (9/5): Second time staying at Sunny Guesthouse - Friendly owner, clean rooms, nice shower, great air conditioning... Located in an alley, I felt safe at all times. The noise level was ok, given the proximity to the walking street. Not a problem for me, but people with limited mobility might have problems going up the stairs (there's no elevator).

The whole place was very clean The bed was really hard. and could have had a net curtain at the windows we had to keep the curtains closed all day because the people opposite could see into the room

• Andrea (10/5): Loved it here, felt so comfortable, lookef after and safe and cannot recommend it enough. - The place was clean, did not find a single bug, lots of light but also great black out curtains, great bathroom, storage space, air-con and the most welcoming and helpful host, such lovely people and very affordable laundry services which I could not recommend more. The bed was pretty hard which took some getting used to but didnt mind it so much after the first night.

• Marta (8/5): - Pokój był czysty, bez zapachu wilgoci. Łazienka w porządku, pod prysznicem dostępny był żel i szampon. Obsługa bardzo miła i pomocna – pani w recepcji od razu dała nam papier toaletowy, którego początkowo brakowało, a także udostępniła apteczkę, żebym mogła przemyć ranę po drobnym wypadku na skuterze. Klimatyzacja początkowo nie działała, ale po zgłoszeniu została szybko naprawiona następnego dnia. W pokoju była suszarka do włosów. Brak zestawu do kawy i herbaty w pokoju nie był dużym problemem, ponieważ można było skorzystać z nich na dole przy recepcji. Pokój wymaga odświeżenia – podłoga i meble są stare. W łazience brakowało mydła do rąk, ale byl zel i szampon pod prysznicem. Pokój znajdował się na 4. piętrze, a w budynku nie ma windy (nam to nie przeszkadzało, ale może być problematyczne dla niektórych gości).

• Carlota (9/5): Highly recommended! - We were a family of four with two children, and our stay was excellent! Fantastic value for money. The location is great—close to lively streets with lots of bars, yet completely quiet since it’s tucked away in a sheltered alley. We walked almost everywhere. I’d seen some reviews mentioning hard beds, and I was a bit worried because I’m not a fan of very firm mattresses, but I didn’t find that to be true at all. The beds were great and we slept very well. The room was impeccably clean, and the shower was absolutely top-notch. There’s no breakfast available, but there are plenty of options nearby. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful whenever we needed anything. Highly recommended! I genuinely have nothing negative to point out.

Location just perfect, room extremely clean,the alley where it is located really quite,room kinda of small but with anything to make your stay comfy. Beds are good. The two ladies really kind and helpful. Good value for the money. I certainly go back to this hotel if on day I'll be again in Saigon.

• John (1/5): Bad - The location The staff, the issue i had was i think they just told lies , I asked to keep room for 4 hours cause my flight was not till 7pm besides this being 3rd time I have stayed hear ,and I booked my son in the place , they changed me half a day for that 4 hours, ok it's a business, I wasn't for breakfast, when I got back the receptionist said roads were closed and it would take 4 hours to get there, it's not that far so I was a bit puzzled at this , the owner was there so I don't no wat was said , but I had to believe, I got a taxi and it took 30 mins no road blocked , so I think they just wanted me gone, so I had a 7 hour wait in airport , I was very angry and told them so, I would never go back there because I would not trust them

• Saleem (10/5): THE PERFECT PLACE FOR A SHORT TERM STAY IN SAIGON, CENTRAL, CLOSE TO EVERYTHING - there was no breakfast included with my room, but it is no problem at all, there are lots of breakfast places close by, to suit all budgets everything was totally perfect for me; the owner, i believe her name is Lily, had pretty much thought of everything required for a travelling tourist in saigon
• Radek (8/5): Comfortable stay in the center - Central location. Not much of the noise from the busy area around can be heard in the room. The manager had everything under control, watching who's going in and out. Safe and fairly clean. I like that everyone has to take off their shoes downstairs, because the streets are dirty. It was impossible to set the desirable temperature in the shower. It's either boiling hot or cold. Also the drain doesn't drain much so after a minute the entire bathroom has turned into a swimming pool. I like hard beds, but these were a bit too hard.

• Kathryn (8/5): Great location and staff - Great location, about 20 minutes walking from the main sights/area. Place was very clean and the staff very friendly. It was also very quiet/peaceful which is super important to me as a light sleeper. There’s both AC and a fan and both worked well. They ask you to take your shoes off which I understand from a cultural standpoint but there are lots of places that don’t ask you to do that. The outlets were kind of weirdly situated so I had to move the dresser a bit to be able to access the closest outlet near the bed. Really very minor things, overall it was a great stay and would definitely recommend.

Many good local restaurant nearby. Close to the walking street yet not too noisy, possibility to get food nearby pretty much 24/7. Upgraded to a family room, overall a great value for money :)

• Bernhard (10/5): Great value for the money. Very central, friendly stuff - Hoang is a very friendly lady who helps you with everything she can. The hostel is located in the middle of district 1. You are 1 min from the main party street and about 5 min walk to the main marked.

The ladies at the reception were very kind and helped us with booking bus tickets to Can Tho. The hotel is located in a quiet, small street but next to a loud street full of bars and restaurants. I would stay there again. The mattress was very hard and we could hear some noises from the street.

No lift in the guesthouse.... Initially the room was was allotted on the third floor. Climbing up the narrow staircase with luggage was very taxing. Room changed later. But the room was smaller. No facility to make tea/coffee in the room. No complementary water.

Room was clean and spacious with big windows, bathroom & shower were great too. You can take a 5-10min Grab ride to pretty much all the tourist destinations in the city. Would stay again! When I arrived the previous guests in my room got their flight delayed/cancelled and I was put into another room for one night. It was okay, but not ideal to have to change rooms during my short stay.

The accommodation is basic but absolutely perfect for our needs. We just needed a good safe quiet clean place to sleep at night after busy days sightseeing and Sunny Guesthouse provided us with this. Ing, the lady on the front desk, was absolutely delightful. So friendly and welcoming and so happy to help with anything we needed. She booked us a bus to Mui Ne which was cheaper than all of the booking agents on the street. Would definitely stay here again.

Sunny Guest house is modern, clean and in a perfect spot to navigate Saigon/ CMC best street food, coffee houses, entertainment and famed Ben Thanh markets .. the staff are kind, friendly and helpful.. and I have to say very beautiful. humbly stated🙇🏻❤️… great location all the way around ❤️🤙🏻🤙🏻

The location is very nice the moment you go out theres a lot of food options available. They clean everyday and its super duper clean. You dont have to tell them make up your room because theyre cleaning our rooms everyday. Dont have a lift.

There's no elevator but my bags were carried up to my room. The room is small but very clean, well presented and modern. The bathroom is great, especially the shower with very good pressure and immediate hot water. Wifi was fine. Lighting in the room is excellent. Daily cleaning is done well. You get 24 hour access to the building with your own smart key As others have said, the mattress is very hard. No little water bottles supplied; you have to keep going out and bringing water back. There is a kettle in the room for boiling water......but no cups, spoons, tea or coffee. The kettle seems a bit pointless.

Air conditioning had a quiet mode which was great during night time. Shower water pressure was decent. Check in/out were very smooth - we were even offered a shower before heading to the airport although we had already checked out. Cleaning staff were pro active and attentive. Shower handle was loose and kept falling off. Bedding (mattress and pillows)were super firm which may be a problem for some. No bottled water provided. Wi-Fi was inconsistent.
