Guest Reviews
- jillian (9/5): - Position
- Janet (8/5): Great short stay with dog - Location, large decks and dog friendly Can be very noisy.
- Kristine (8/5): Great location and balcony. If only the sun had shone :) - The size of the unit and the location were fantastic. There were dog bowls provided and some dog treats, perhaps left by previous holidayers. The balcony was huge too. The staff downstairs were very amenable. Needs a bit of TLC. The blinds in the second room did not open and the door handles and towel rails were loose.
- Serra (10/5): - Location is great, very close to the beach and the river mouth. Nothing wrong with it

- Keara (10/5): Amazing - A gorgeous little unit to stay at with the family, a perfect location.
The beds were comfortable and we had a lovely outlook from the front balcony.
What an amazing place to stay with great communication.
We found a great place to eat was the silver spoon, with great coffee and tea.
Also the boat shed with a beautiful out look while having lunch and you can watch the kids play just out side in the sand.
Both of these are in walking distance.
Such a quiet area just perfect for a getaway from a busy work schedule for my family. Perfect place close to everything
- Abby (9/5): Lovely unit in a lovely location! - Great location. Old apartment, but it is well looked after and spacious. Balcony is huge! Christmas decorations were around the unit too which was a nice touch :) There are some things which could be replaced/cleaned (e.g. dated roller blinds, dirty window screens, aging sliding door frames). But this is honestly being extremely picky and won't impact your stay whatsoever.
- Fiona (10/5): Pet friendly gem - Very convenient location fitted out with everything you would ever need. Having to leave.
- Peta (10/5): - Pet friendly, close to everything good and very clean. Nothing.
- Sabina (1/5): Location amazing, everything else terrible. - I loved the location! The property was so dusty and mouldy and visably mouldy everywhere, we had to cut our trip short a night and drive home as we could no breathe inside the property.
- Riley (8/5): - Location!
- Darcel (10/5): 10/10 Enjoyed the stay, will book again. - Loved the location and the spaciousness of the apartment.
- William (8/5): -
- Judy (8/5): Great position, memories. - Location excellent. Well-equipped. Unfortunately it will be razed by the end of year to become more like others around Updating would have been recommended but as being knocked down later no need.
- Daria (10/5): -
- Stokes (9/5): Very happy with the facilities and proximity to everything. Would stay again. - We stayed during a construction period for the building next door, which impacted daytime noise and parking access slightly. The hosts thoughtfully made us aware of this at the time of booking, and it wasn't really a bother as we were out most days.
- Carol (10/5): -
- Helen (7/5): Great location! - Large airy and sun filled two bedroom apartment.
Good sized bedrooms that are nicely decorated.
Great location close to Cotton Tree shops and the boardwalk.
Very clean and good wifi reception Bathrooms are a bit tired and in need of renovation.
Building site next door was a bit noisy.
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional -
- Diane (10/5): Very comfortable accommodation and location is excellent. - Spacious and location was wonderful.
- Jollybatey (8/5): Great location in Maroochydore/Cotton Tree. - Great location within walking distance to all shops, restaurants, and services/amenities the area has to offer. Over the road from great walking paths along the river or to the beach. Close enough so you can walk to a number of nearby fishing spots. All good.
- Dawn (6/5): Unit up to expectations. Very noisy from the construction site next door and behind unit. - The apartment was ok and all the starter extras of condiments, hand wash, cleaning etc was of great benefit. The noise from the building sites behind the unit and next door which started with very loud voices and equipment around 6am. Main noises were from 7am. I did not find the notice of there being a construction site next door and behind the apartment. The disclosure on Booking.com was well hidden (at the very bottom of the long description). I would not have booked the apartment had it been more noticeable.
- Peter (6/5): We had a comfortable stay in a well-located apartment, but the place needs upgrading. - The location was very good, staff at reception we're very nice. The apartment had plenty of room. The apartment is in need of improvement, as it is old and below our expectations for the price we were paying. The fit-out of the apartment was cheap. Cheap furniture, cheap kitchen plates, pots, pans, utensils, cheap appliances, etc... Again, this was below our expectations for the price we were paying.
- Rachel (8/5): Very good -
- Andrew (8/5): Perfect place if you have a small dog and don’t mind a flight of stairs to take her out. View and park across the road w - This was our first getaway with our new puppy and the place suited us well. A small green area out the back would have been nice as the front offered a lot of distractions for the puppy when it was time to do her business.
- Scott (9/5): Superb - Great location
- Philip (8/5): Good location friendly staff on arrival but not quite so friendly or helpful on departure - Location Construction noise starting at 6am
- Sheryl (10/5): Good Location very Enjoyable. Love Cottontree. - The noise of the construction work around building
- Martin (6/5): Great spot, walk area but wouldn’t stay in this unit again. - Location was amazing. Walk to everything. Unit was well equipped with everything needed. Didn’t notice the very small print about construction on 2 sides from 6.30am. Fittings and windows and doors were aged and worn out. Eg. Ensuite Bathroom window had holes in it and very dirty, main window had no handle and blind was broken and sitting on ledge. Main sliding door was very hard to move so remained closed during stay, no security doors on second bedroom and lounge doors therefore couldn’t leave open through night therefore was quiet hot. I appreciate its not brand new but still requires maintenance.
- Tracy (8/5): Very good -
- Sophie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Isabella (10/5): Exceptional -
- Louise (8/5): Very good -
- Michelle (10/5): Exceptional -
- Philip (9/5): Superb -
- Kelly (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment was clean and tidy. Beautiful furniture & Decor Everything was perfect
- Kylie (10/5): Exceptional - EVERYTHING was outstanding, all the attention to details, shower gel, glad wrap, alfoil etc in the kitchen, condiments in fridge and cupboard, chocolates on arrival. soft towels. I could go on and on Not so many keys on the key ring lol
- Helen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tahlia (10/5): Exceptional - Pet friendly, great location
- Sandra (8/5): We had a good stay - Location close to everything
- Gary (6/5): New hotel getting built and work started at 6-30 am every day bar Sunday . - Location It needs up dating
- Chris (8/5): Family catch up - Great location, comfortable, central to shope and resturants. Property is looking a little tired, could do with a spruce up.
- Brendan (10/5): Exceptional - The staff where realy helpfull . The unit was good for the dogs because of the size of the verandah. So close to park ans beach to take dogs for a walk . The staff really made u feel like home. The Bed was to small . Should be A Queen or king . The building site next door stating work at 0600 was a bit annoying.
- Victoria (10/5): Exceptional -
- Shellie (10/5): Clean and comfortable, older style unit with original bathrooms and kitchen but furnished really nicely . Huge front bal - Great location , short walk to the water, cafes close by .
- Mae (10/5): Exceptional - It was such a lovely unit, perfect location and overall a really great stay!! My partner and I would definitely recommend!
- Edwina (9/5): Excellent, facilities and apartment very good - Location and comfort of apartment. Enjoyed our stay and would stay again Nothing
- Lachlan (9/5): We are a young family with a dog and we all had a great pre-Christmas holiday! - The location is incredible for families with young kids and pets. The park, playground and river are on the front doorstep. Cafes and restaurants seconds away. Beach just down the road. Brilliant spot. The realestate agents downstairs that manage the property are very friendly and responsive. The apartment is a little dated but clean and well equipped. The place could definitely use some new curtains and blinds. No aircon in the bedrooms but the living room unit is big enough to cool down the full apartment if you leave the doors open.
- Louise (9/5): Love this location and the relaxing atmosphere! - The location was brilliant, the layout was great and the use of the paddle board No Blackout curtains - had my 2 year old grandson with us and first light in the morning- he woke !
We love to cook - the knives need sharpening 🥳
- Doogie (9/5): Superb - Location Patio areas weren't super safe for young children, some rusted metal fittings on patio area that probably should be removed/covered
- Sharon (8/5): Great views - Proximity to beach and restaurants
Large balcony Construction noise, but we were forewarned
- Katherine (10/5): Exceptional - Location was perfect. Close to restaurants, shopping.
- Anna (9/5): Great little apartment in a fantastic location. - The location was amazing, and the flat very well equipped. Loved the cheese and crackers and the complimentary coffee sachets. Two sets of keys made life easy, and the off street parking was a real bonus. The construction noise wasn't great, but we were out for most of the day so it didn't bother us too much.
- Anonymous (10/5): Excellent - Location The greeting by the manager really made us feel welcomed
- Simon (8/5): Very good -
- Darryl (9/5): Superb -
