- fujun (7/5): - Good location The terrace room I stayed turn out to be on the ground floor. Quite impossible to use the terrace let alone open the curtain as you are facing someone’s kitchen and the street. And you have to go out door to use the sink and to go to the toilet.

- Marco (5/5): Ok if you are on the cheap and easy and are ok with not perfect cleaning. - Easy, cheap and some potential Picture in the property description were misleading. Rooms and entrance were absolutely not as show in the picture. Room was kind of dirty in the floor with stains on the walls and spiderwebs on the corners. Found a dead cockroach under the bed covers in a layer of dust that must have been there since 2021. Bathroom became a swimming pool after each shower.

Gave me a gift on my birthday! Tub was kind of broken. Soap etc. were not replenished and room does not seem to be cleaned deep enough between guest stays.
- Neophytos (6/5): Good but the place needs renovation. - I like the aesthetics of it and that it was off the main road while being close to restaurants and shops. You got your own locker plus a smaller one in your pod that was really convenient. The staff while kind were completely unhelpful at every turn. They never knew anything and could barely communicate with me. They would also leave the door open to the dorms constantly while the AC was on which defeats the purpose. Then AC barely worked, the units were half broken, supposedly on 16 degrees but I was sweating. The room was not insulted and so cool air was always escaping through the balcony windows. The bathroom was also always dirty.

- Cuong (7/5): - Central location, staff was friendly. Room is not really soundproof, you’d hear a lot of loud noises in the morning. The bed is a bit small and not too comfortable. I requested to check out later in advance (with extra fees if needed), to which the staff agreed the check-out time would be 13:30. On the day however, the staff was rushing me to leave already at 11:00 and we settled for 12:00 in the end. Would have been less stressful if they had upfront refused to let me check out later than rushing me in the last minutes.

- Louise-Anne (6/5): Works for 1-2 nights, and close to the train station. - The bed is nice and clean, the bunks offer privacy and you also get a locker. The place is overall nicely decorated and the staff was welcoming. You also get a toothbrush, towel and stuff like that, which is appreciated. The place is close to the train station, which is why I booked this hostel. However, if you intend to visit the city, this hostel is kinda far, and there isn’t much to do in the area. For me, I would say this hostel works for one-two nights, if you are transiting in the city. It is also quite cheap, so good value for money. In the email I received, it said that the bathroom and toilets were at the third floor. When I went to the third floor, the bathroom and toilets were really sketchy. The toilets looked more like a storage room and you could barely access it… However, I later found out that my dorm at the first floor also had a bathroom, which was ok, but I wish the email would have indicated it better. Also, there is only one bathroom for the whole dorm, so I cannot imagine the chaos if the dorm was at its full capacity. Also, I booked the dorm indicated as women only. In the middle of the night, a couple came in with the guy talking loudly for like an hour, which I did not appreciate. I feel like if the dorm is supposed to be women only, men should not be allowed in.

Easy access to district 1 by local bus was a bonus. Communal areas were a bit grubby, a bit noisy, could hear everyone talking outside the room. Bed a bit hard. Often no water in sink tap.
- Dinah (7/5): - Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Die Lage ist ok und für ein, zwei Nächte kann man dort gut sein. Mein Einzelzimmer mit Bad war gut ausgestattet. Eigentlich ist das Hostel sehr schön gestaltet. Leider ist es nicht besonders sauber, in die Jahre gekommen und scheinbar lange nichts gemacht worden. Am meisten hat mich die Unsauberkeit im Zimmer und Bad gestört. Die Fotos werden dem tatsächlichen Zustand nicht mehr gerecht.

- Kay (4/5): Have translator ready because they do not understand or chose to not understand - I like that guests had access to a kitchen, it did not have a fully functioning stove but there was an attempt there to make it convenient with a large fridge and freezer. Also the beds are big and have convenient lockers for smaller items like a laptop plus a regular luggage size locker is available as you enter the dorm. Customer service went from ignoring the guests to now once brought to management's attention, ok. I stayed to 10 nights on the third morning as I was starting my usual morning walk, I badly sprained my ankle. I arrived back to the Lovenote Home to find multiple staff as I limped to a couch, not noticing I was in pain; employees would walk by and look at me seeing my discomfort but not say anything. I needed to make the swelling go down, I was told that they did not have ice, nearly 90 minutes later, I finally started yelling at someone to help me, it turns out it was the general manager who immediately grabbed me a bag of ice from the very freezer that "they did not have ice" from originally and he even gave me some herbal rub that would reduce the swelling. Funny thing leading up to me yelling for help, the general manager was there training a new employee about customer service meanwhile I was being ignored...lol

- Janine (6/5): It's fair for the price - 24h reception The bedding didn't had a duvet cover so you don't know if somebody else used it before. I slept in my sleeping bag though. In addition it smells a bit so you need to keep it ventilated.

- Tracy (1/5): Most disgustingly filthy place ever AVOID - It has good WiFi through out The place is absolutely disgustingly filthy. In the shared kitchen the bin had bugs crawling out of it onto the kitchen cupboard and in the floor, I notified the guy on reception who shrugged his shoulders at me so I gestured for him to follow me so I could show him. He looked at the bin and walked off I had to call him back and say change this now, I showed him the build up of dirt all over the floor behind the bin and work surfaces, again he shrugged his shoulders but did change the bin. There was a dead cockroach on the floor outside my bedroom for my 3 night stay. My room wasn’t too bad but my bed was awful it creaked so bad and the mattress was terrible, I lifted the mattress and regretted it, absolute filth! The hoover mop and bucket didn’t move the time I was there! Staff didn’t seem to want to help or couldn’t speak English, didn’t want to interact even with a translator.

- Sindhura (9/5): Great value for money - The room was spacious, well-ventilated (which was not always the case in hotels in Vientnam), and extremely clean. It was great value for money. The location was ok, very easy to get a grab to any place. And it's in a quiet location. Staff struggled a bit to converse in English, but they were very helpful, even if they did take some time to understand what we were asking for. Small things like, the towel size could be bigger (I think they are Vietnamese size). The beds were on the harder side.
