• Thach (8/5): The place is a building with clean shared 🚽 bathroom. - The huge room and own gate key.The staff gave us free 2 300ml h20 before checking out. 🙂 Just a bit far from the center if by walking. The ac was making a bit noise probably it’s too old already. But can sleep and manageable.
• Hồng (9/5): Superb - Smart design, clean, spacious, friendly host I prefer the door being opened or made from glass to see the view outside though it brings the traditional look for the accommodations so that’s acceptable.

• Florian (10/5): Exceptional - Great communication and super nice staff, always eager and fast to solve any problems that might come up. Spacy and nice room, big bathroom. Location is a 10-15 minute drive from the Old Quarter but the environment is nice and calm compared to the buzz of the touristic buzz.
• Misterbas (9/5): Superb - Great room with kitchen. Everything is nice and new. Hostess is super nice. You have your own kitchen but share the bathroom which you have to get used to but it's fine.

• Réka (10/5): Feel like a local, feel like home - Very cozy room, I had the top floor and loved the view over the neighborhood. I felt like home with the small kitchen and far from touristic areas. I knew where and why I was booking here, but probably others prefer more central locations. In this west lake area I really liked the early mornings by the shore. Gina and her sister very super helpful, I got a free laundry and they booked an airport shuttle for me at a good price. Bathroom wasn't very well cleaned, I think with a little more attention on cleaning and eliminating odors it would become the perfect accommodation.

Really helpful and friendly owners, easy to get in contact with and supportive. :) Room has everything what you need. location is not in the city Center which we liked a lot - you can rest from the Day, lake is nearby, Center within 20 min by taxi and great bars/restaurants in walking distance. nothing to complain :)
• Jamie (10/5): perfect - a very welcoming spacious room, with little kitchen and a very comfortable bed. Best room I’ve had in Hanoi! if you have the room with a balcony to the street side it’s a little loud in the mornings

• Matthias (10/5): Absolutely wonderful stay with most comfortable beds - Most comfortable beds in Vietnam! Check-in and check-out was seamless and they exlained everything I needed to know. Once you get to your room, it is a perfect apartment for a few nights of peace in Hanoi. The apartment is very clean and provides everything you need. The washing facilities on the top floor are very convenient and free to use. A perfect stay for me and I would stay here again with my partner next time I come to Hanoi. The water pump on the top floor is very noisy and runs whenever someone opens a tap. Next time I would ask to have a room on a lower floor. Also keep in mind that you will need a ride to get here from the old town as it is too far to walk.
• Benjam901 (10/5): Truly fantastic, great value for money and the owners and staff are wonderful - incredibly comfortable, very modern, very clean and well put together. The staff were very helpful and washed my clothes more than once. Seriously, if you want value for money and comfort this is the place to stay. The location while nice and very local (very very local, I saw almost no other to tourists) and close to a lovely banana plantation is a little off the beaten track. If you don’t mind this which I didn’t then it’s totally fine :)

• Hold (10/5): Perfect accommodation ever in Hanoi - It's a local neighborhood, away from the Old town, which I liked the most about this homestay! If you're looking for a real local neighborhood and peaceful and quiet place, this is for you! :D The room is spacious enough, the bed is just perfect! Not too soft, not too hard. If you're a homebody, you might not want to get out of bed😂😂 It feels like your home! You'll never feel any awkward feeling while staying. And the west lake is about 5~10 mins away. There are many cafes along the lake, It's really good to have your "me time."😌👍 And the owner, Luna is such an Amazing Person. She helped me a lot during my stay. I'll definitely come back again!

• Duc (10/5): A-freaking-mazing - The place was out of my every expectation when I first contacted and enter the premise. The host was exceptionally nice and welcoming when she stayed up late for my arrival. The room and the house got a really nice tranquil scent that set the peace to your mind. Room furniture and facilities are out of the question, 5-star quality. So clean and the place is so quiet and secure. 100/10 would pick again the next time I travel.

The only thing what’s missing on there was the host! She was really kind and helped us with everything. Sometimes the Toilets didn’t flush well, but the Homestay is new and we told the host about this. She said she will fix this and that’s what she did. There really wasn’t anything that I disliked about our stay :)

• Southgate (10/5): This was a last minute decision to stay one night. The Hive was a fantastic find and I’m so glad I booked it. Luna and t - cleanliness, customer service, location.
• Veronika (10/5): Exceptional - My first time in Hanoi and I choose Hive Homestay because I didn’t want to stay in the regular backpackers area. And it wasn’t. It’s a residential area with food stands and people following their daily lives. It’s short distance to west lake which is really beautiful and has lot’s of cafés and restaurants. It’s a good 45min into the city center/old town by foot but motorcycle taxis are easy to grab and cheap. The homestay just opened when I came and Luna and her team were still busy with getting a lot of it ready. Therefore here and there some things didn’t go super smoothly yet but that didn’t matter because Luna immediately reacted and fixed everything that needed to be fixed. She welcomed me with so much warmth and throughout the stay let me know that I could asked her anything. It was a little home away from home. I am sure once they are settled in with the pleace it will be one of the nicest most welcoming places to stay in Hanoi.
