- Michelle (5/5): Comfy, generally clean, well located for Table Mountains activities but a couple of improvements would help - Bed comfortable, location. Accommodation well laid out. Good, safe parking. No contact with host prior to check-in. Had to chase two hours beforehand. Not informed WiFi had been down for 2 days, then possibly fobbed off that it was storm damage and going to be repaired that or following day. Didn’t happen and never was as no power to ‘hub’. Could also get other Optus networks near by. No update on the WiFi received from the host as to progress on the repair. TV continually lost its signal. Not all areas were clean. Kitchen table dirty upon arrival and dead flies and previous occupants make-up on floor. One tiny saucepan to cook with, not big enough for cooking pasta for 2. Other pot was not compatible with induction hob. Bathroom was new and clean apart from the plastic toilet cistern which was close to falling off the wall.

- florence (5/5): Good spot but no internet, no tv and raw food for dinner. - The cottage is for sale and has just been re looked . It’s cute, clean and well located . No internet : there is a modem in the house but it’s not operating. The agent mentioned an alternative access but it is not connected.
Rénovations are flash but no attention for détails: there is a new induction stove but the pans haven’t been updated and are not compatible.
Netflix streaming is available to subscribers but public channels aren’t.

- Philip (9/5): Perfect short stay choice with great vibe. - Lovely vibe. Nicely appointed. Clean. Quiet. Well located.
- Guest (9/5): Short but sweet and comfortable. - It was a quaint little cottage with lots of windows and views. Lovely garden. Toilet is a long way from the bedroom.
- Dean (7/5): Lovely little house , perfect for a family exploring Mount Tambourine. - Lovely house with a cool breeze. Ideal for exploring Mount Tambourine. We loved swimming in Cedar Creek and Thunderbird Park. Overall the house is ideal for a couple of nights. Beds were very comfortable, good tv and handy to have an air fryer. The shower doesn’t drain properly and the water goes everywhere. The large pot supplied doesn’t work on the induction hob and was useless. The back door fly screen handle fell off the first time I used it. The electronic lock is a bit hit and miss. Communication to the hosts wasn’t great.
- Laura (9/5): - Very strait forward door code instructions Beautiful peaceful and comfy
- Leanne (10/5): - Gorgeous and peaceful perfect little getaway for a much needed relaxing break.
- Annette (7/5): Cute cottage - Beds were comfortable and near new. No mould.
Perfectly clean. Traffic noise was very loud. It did get better through the night, but woke me up at 5am.
It's on a busy road.
- Vicki (10/5): -
- Veronika (9/5): - WiFi disconnected frequently and required a restart. The check-in information came with a delay via email, and the electronic door lock was hard to open.
- Guest (7/5): Could be slightly better - Flush not working
- Guest (9/5): -
- Katrina (8/5): - Good location as it was close to eating places during the day. Monday wasn't the best night to find a place to eat. The place was very comfortable. Internet and television didn't work.
- Guest (9/5): Comfortable, welcoming accommodation in a quiet, central location. -
- Brett (8/5): Cute easy place to stay - Nice atmosphere, repainted inside, renovated bathroom, appliances and crockery etc available, new Air Conditioners upstairs in comfortable attractive loft style bedrooms. Easy covered parking spot. I would stay again. Downstairs A/C did not heat with cold tile floors downstairs in winter so bring slippers (however I found a fan heater in cupboard though and upstairs/bedrooms were good). Place was clean but a couple of white roller blinds were dirty when rolled down and roller blind in bathroom had a gap at the shower side to clear window courtyard (but courtyard was fairly private). Couch needs replacing but usable. Maybe I'm lazy but a dishwasher would be nice as I don't go on holidays to do housework!
- Anonymous (7/5): We loved tambourine mountain and had a lovely night out at the Eagle Heights Hotel Motel. - The coffee machine
- Jon (8/5): Very good -
- Anonymous (6/5): Disappointed. - Convenient location to local area The accommodation was in need of a revamp. Rip in sofa, air conditioning downstairs didn’t work, house felt cold and damp, cobwebs on bedroom ceilings. Outside stairs need repair wood rotting.
- Debby (8/5): Very good - Lovely little cottage Air cobditioner Heater not working. Had to use small heater. Lucky they had one.
- Rozsa (3/5): Mouldy house & cold downstairs with lots of stairs - First, upon arrival I thought the cottage is cool and sweet but this changed very quickly for the worst. Rooms: A/C heaters and bed confort was ok. They put a nice dining table and good chairs in which we did not have a chancce to use but looked ok. Getting in was already difficult with their lock box system. The place smelled dump and mouldy as you entered and it was the case during our whole stay. It was really horrible but we could not leave with two little kids in the evening, nowhere else to stay or too difficult to drive back home and cancel our little vacation. It really ruind the experience for us. Plus this place is a health hazard, an extremely UNHEALTHY, DANGEROUSLY MOULDY old cottage. The bathroom was shocking mouldy and the whole downstairs very cold as the A/C heating system is not working well/not sufficient for the area. Absolutely not comfortable and would not recommend to anyone to stay there.
We noticed several spider webs and even saw spiders inside, which speaks volumes about the general level of cleanliness and just a small addition to the mould but they can be dangerous too.
At lease the rooms had strang A/C heaters and the beds were confy with clean beddings. Kitchen equipments were also a bit limited and most pots not sutable for the electric stove. Kitchen is ok if you do not cook in there. The cottacge has lots of stairs internally (not suitable with little kids & / injury/mobility issues) and no bathroom upstairs where the bedrooms are. So, again very not practical and could be extra dangerous in the middle of the night going down the very steep stairs, as you are heading to the freezing bathroom which will wake you up fully though.
- Jay (4/5): Disappointing - Heating-there is a small heater for downstairs as the split system doesn't work, large modern bathroom, beautiful exposed ceilings, plenty of powerpoints, beds were clean and extremely comfortable. Extremely close to the Gallery walk and a short drive to Thunderbird Park. The couch desperately needs to be replaced, the air fryer wasn't clean and had old food in it, the oven wasn't clean but we didn't use it anyway, despite having a washing machine and clothes airer there were no laundry powder/liquid so we washed out clothes on high heat.
- Sarah (5/5): Great location but cottage needs some extra love. - Location is good. Bedrooms were basic but comfortable. Aircon and fans upstairs which was a plus. The bedrooms would get very hot in Summer. The front balcony is a lovely spot but only has a little 2-seater outside chair. I recommend adding more furniture at least for 4 people. Unfortunately, there were a couple of issues with our stay. The cottage has a lot of potential but it's a little tired and tatty on the outside also lots of cobwebs both inside and out. The living room aircon/heating was not working. We swapped the batteries in the remote but still couldn't get it to work. Lucky, we had blankets to use whilst sitting in the living room. The larger saucepan in the drawer was not suitable for the induction cooktop, this was inconvenient as we bought food to cook based on the pan in the drawer. Living sofa was not that comfortable and also starting to look worn and fraying.
- Wayne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Defier42 (9/5): It was a lovely stay I would recommend to everyone and definitely would come again - The location was amazing the views driving up where amazing
- Magdalena (8/5): good value stay - The location is good, short drive from town shops / restaurants and other attractions. Convenient access via door code. Comfortable cottage with everything you need to stay. The driveway and car port is tricky to get in and out. Quite dark in the evening.
- Wayne (9/5): Superb -
- Melanie (7/5): This little cottage had all the right amenities for our family of 4 for a 1 night stay. - It was a very cute little cabin, with all the amenities our family needed for a 1 night stay. There were a few things I would attend too as a property owner/manager, the lounge had a huge rip in it and the air con filter downstairs looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years- we really didn’t want to turn it on with 2 asthmatic kids, but it was so cold we had too. The shower pressure is nearly none-existent also and after being wet all day, we were looking forward to hot showers and it was a but disappointing to not have good water pressure.
- Furlong (10/5): Exceptional - Had a great two night stay with the kids, such a beautiful place in a great spot, will stay again!
- Wayne (10/5): Exceptional - Nice clean little cottage, bright interior, comfy beds
- Billett (9/5): Superb - Extremely comfy firm bed, great kitchen facilities, coffee machine
- Abbie (8/5): Cosy night away in the mountains - Very comfortable beds, cosy, good amenities Sofa uncomfortable, difficult to use oven but did have air fryer which was useful
- Brooke (6/5): Was good, staff were great but bathroom needs an update - The bedrooms were great upstairs, kitchen and dining room good. Hosts were great, excellent communication, hosts very flexible with us checking in. Smell of mould throughout, bathroom needs an update, shower over bath and no proper railing to safety get in and out the shower-if you are unsteady on your feet or older person huge falls risk. Shower screen dangerous position
- Apple (8/5): Very good - Nice little area close to shops,Wineries and attractions.
- Elk (10/5): It felt like a proper holiday! - Super cute cottage and nice to be able to accommodate our group of one couple and 2 x singles. It was quiet and surrounded by a lovely garden. A lovely holiday feel to the place. Be aware the door automatically locks when you close it, so if you step outside and close the door, either know the code or have your phone on you!! We enjoyed watching Stan on the tv. A close drive to Curtis Falls and the charming village of shops.
- Ross (7/5): It was enjoyable. - Good location and overall a comfortable Downstairs aircon could do with a good clean. Shower was a concern as it is difficult to access for older people or someone with restricted mobility. Shower rose position and function was terrible and needs to have a slide rail installed for the hand held shower. This was our main concern with the property. The shower rose is an easy fix, access for older people not so easy to remedy
- Elizabeth (10/5): Exceptional - Our stay was peaceful and relaxing. Our cottage was clean and easy to find. was only a 10 minute walk to the Garden Walk and the Botanical Gardebs. Do muchvto do. Loved the location.
- Therese (8/5): Time out - The cottage is quaint the photo is true to how it looks .you have got privacy from the neighbours.it is walking distance to the gallery walkway shops .
There is a one bedroom cottage as well. So it is ideal for a family of two kids and parents in the house and grandparents in the other cottage.
The place is simply furnished but welcoming .it has washing machine, microwave' coffee machines and a hot plates and airfryer.there is lovely stained class in various parts of the cottage building.also the contact person we eventually got on to to get the access code was very helpful and told us to ring him any time if we had any issues The shower needs some attention , but might be on a small head due to the place being on water tanks . But the bath area could could have some attention but for us it was ok . The rest of the room fine .
Did not like to leave could have stayed another few days
Needs a little love in the garden but there had been a lot of rain .
I feel **bedside lamps **would be a major benefit as the light switch for the main bedroom is in the hall way .
- David (7/5): Quaint little cottage but needs a few improvements. - Nice location, quaint cottage Facilities really need an upgrade - bathroom is pretty old, lounge room aircon is shocking, the couch is broken.
- Kathryn (9/5): Superb -
- Amanda (7/5): Great location, well equipped cottage…. lovely stay - Great location, very clean and homely. Master bed was a little firm for me
- Ron (8/5): Convenient and affordable - Location & facilities Bathroom shower needs upgrading
- Gilbert (4/5): Cedar Cottage accommodation quality is fair and over priced for its condition and state of repair. - Location was on a road that was fairly busy with traffic. Traffic noise at night did not disrupt our sleep. Bed was fairly comfortable. An older cottage that has had some upgrades. Out party considered the overall condition is fair. The shower is over bath and is challenging to access as the step in is over a wide, tiled plinth that supports and surrounds the bath. We were a group of three with two people over 70 years old who are mobile and fit however we felt that access to the shower was a risk. The bathroom door lock did not work and the door only stayed shut by a hook and eye type latch; less than ideal.
We could smell cigarette smoke and then found a packet of cigarettes in a kitchen cupboard!! Very poor attention to detail.
- Michael (5/5): Bathroom needs work -
- Ally (9/5): Lovely cottage for weekend getaway - The cottage is super cute and was exactly what we needed for our stay. The location is close to everything we wanted. The cottage was impeccably clean. The kitchen facilities were well stocked in terms of crockery, cutlery, and glassware. Plenty of powerpoints. We loved the Christmas tree, which was a lovely surprise. The beds are incredibly comfortable. Fans and air-conditioninginthebedrooms worked well.. I would definitely stay here again. We would have liked to have had bedside table lamps in the bedrooms. The bathroom was very clean and functional, and would benefit from a bit of an update.
- Amy (9/5): Immaculately clean property in a great location. Very close to some great walking trails. - Not a big fan of the bath/shower
- Katalin (8/5): Very good -
- Tara (7/5): Good - Good location. Cute house. Front stair rails were broken not safe. Shower dirty and not good water pressure.
- Hannah (7/5): Good - House was clean, beds were comfortable and overall nice for a short stay. Lack of communication regarding entry. Organised early check in and was told I would receive a text with entry instructions as soon as the cleaners had finished however after not hearing anything all day we arrived 15 minutes prior to general check in time with no cleaners insight and we had to call at 2pm in order to gain instruction on getting into the property. Created a very stressful afternoon as we were required at an event at 2:30pm.
- Vicki (7/5): We still enjoyed our stay. Owner was very helpful. Stove ceramic top was badly cracked so we didn’t use it. Too diffi - Nice cottage close to shops. Shower was very difficult to use because of set up.
- Andrea (9/5): Beautiful property very close to all the tourist attractions. Our daughter kept asking to return to the ‘blue house’. - The styling, the proximity to attractions, the garden and the kitchen being very functional. The toilet door couldn’t be closed from the outside.
- Sharon (8/5): Very good -
- Lyn (9/5): Our stay at Cedar Cottage was great - handy and homely. - Cedar cottage is private, cosey, unique and homely. Handy location.
I really liked the kindness shown by the contact person. He sounded as though he actually cared about us and our stay, providing information and support without me feeling like an inconvenience. More accessible shower would have been nice especially with children.
- Delosa (7/5): cosy cottage - cosy, clean and self-contained shower
- Penny (7/5): Good for a short stay, but watch out for the front steps! - Good Location and Good set up. The beds were comfortable and the place was clean & tidy. I never received any information regarding how to gain access to the property. I was feeling anxious on arrival as my message went unanswered. It was just luck that I ran into the cleaner or owner on arrival who was still cleaning at 15mins before our check in. Whether it was because we had arrived early or not, but we didn’t receive a bath mat or washers. Kitchen needs more sponges or wipes, paper towel and knife needs sharpening.
- Raelene (8/5): Very good, comfortable beds, nice front room and kitchen - Shower facilities
- Amanda (8/5): Great place to rest after a family wedding - Cozy and comfortable, the beds are very comfortable
- Lisa (10/5): Exceptional - Everything
- Donna (7/5): Great location - Great location for all the attractions The bathroom is cold in Winter
- Kyria (6/5): Pleasant - This is an older cottage and is absolutely adequate for a few nights stay. Great location easy walking distance to gallery walk. Comfortable beds. Check in instructions were clear. Adequate accommodation with all the basics you need for a few nights. This is a basic cottage. Kitchen had just enough (e.g. one pot, two small pans). Everything was surface clean except unfortunately the property is in need of a deep clean (e.g. the hand rail on the stairs was incredibly dirty throughout - not something I'd normally notice or comment on but it was literally a different colour). Having the shower over the bathtub can be challenging to get in/out of if you have any mobility/hip issues. I hoped to get information about how to check in but this was only received at 1.45pm. I appreciate check in isn't until 2pm but lack of communication about check in did make me worry we hadn't booked correctly!
- Shannon (8/5): Very good -
- Laura (8/5): Very good -
- Darren (10/5): We loved our stay, Thankyou! - Beautiful cottage, fantastic location!
- Faiese (9/5): Superb - Cute lil cottage amenities are great
- Jessica (9/5): Superb - The layout and the way it felt welcoming and warm. Plus the location was perfect. Also having covered parking. The pressure in the shower head and bath.
- Roberta (9/5): Very pleasant. Would definitely consider again for a future visit. - Great location within walking distance of the Gallery Walk and easy drive to all major attractions. Backing onto the forest was lovely.
The cottage was lovely, cosy, comfortable, clean and well appointed.
The proprietor was easy to deal with and sent good instructions to access the property.
The insulation between downstairs and upstairs was good so people watching TV didn't disturb others' sleep.
The positioning of stained glass panels was clever in distributing the light. Having 'real' bars of soap rather than bodywash or knowing to bring our own would have been good. No major issue as the IGA was close by.
The timer light in the carport didn't seem to work, but you can leave the veranda light on which is adequate.
- Forsyth (6/5): Quaint but overpriced for what it is and noisy traffic - Cute older cottage with lots of character
Beds were comfortable Road traffic noise was bad. Glad we were there on a quiet Monday in May, not a weekend at a busy time of year. Couldn’t have windows open due to noise.
Smoke alarm going off randomly at 5:30am( no reason inside or outside house for this)
Bathroom terrible- shower/bath actually quite dangerous to get in and out
“Full kitchen” had a very small saucepan and 2 frypans. I had to drive down to Coles and purchase a large pan so we could cook the food we bought with us.
Lounge couch was unbearably uncomfortable
- Emily (9/5): Great value for money. - Great location. This little cottage was perfect for our family of 4.
- Rosemary (10/5): Comfortable and good location. - Clean, good facilities.
- Susan (7/5): Good - The cottage was very quaint and had a spacious kitchen. The beds were very comfortable with ample linen. The cottage was very clean. The price was very reasonable. Very short drive to some nice cafes. I think with a bit of renovation could be a beautiful place to stay. The bathroom was very old. The shower was over the bath and very hard to climb in and out of safely. The cottage is two storey with two flights of stairs to the bedrooms - difficult for older people especially as the bathroom is on the ground floor. The main road outside the cottage is very busy and noisy.
- Michelle (6/5): Pleasant -
- Bennya08 (6/5): the location of the cottage provided us a close proximity to the our social function venue - The location was close to function venue we attended The bathroom is slippery specially for seniors like us. A rubber mat placed on the bath tub would have been nice.
- Diane (6/5): Pleasant -
- Mags (8/5): A charming and Private Cottage experience! - The charming aspect of the cottage. The upstairs downstairs layout. The private entrance and convenient undercover parking. The location which was not too distant from home. The Beauty of the area and the close proximity to shops and cafés. The bird life is a medley of sights and songs. The sense of privacy the cottage provides. The cottage location is a very busy road. The lock to get into the cottage is a bit complicated.
- Elena (7/5): for a cosy stay - Awesome location just 1 min drive away from a shop gallery, cafes, distillery and wineries. Really cosy house and it has almost everything you need for a short stay or even longer - Air con in each room, kitchen, coffee machine, stove, kettle, wi-fi, TV with Netflix etc. Tricky code locker, but clear instructions on how to use it. We would ask for paper towels only. The rest are nice. Highly recommend it for a family stay. lack of paper towel :)
- Kym (10/5): Lovely place to stay - The cottage was all we needed. I loved the lead lights in this house - so pretty. Beds were comfy and location was perfect. Had a little trouble opening the door for the first time but that was quickly resolved.
- Michelle (7/5): Good -
- Susan (8/5): Quiet area, cute cottage. - Cute cottage , quiet area , close to town. We were not aware there was another holiday unit in the same property,
- Sophie (9/5): Lovely stay on Tamborine Mountain - Charming cottage with some modern additions. New kitchen and felt fresh and comfortable. Bathroom could do with a small update to avoid as much water pooling. Great location for a wedding on the Mountain
- Jenny (8/5): It was close to the Wedding venue we were attending but also close to the shops & village amenities. - The bathroom was not appropriate for us older folk. As the shower was above the bath it was difficult to climb over the rim of the bath, which was very wide and high.
- Karla (9/5): Beautiful little home - Cute character No clothes rack to hang your clothes after washing them.
- Delora (8/5): Cute little cottage in a great location close to main street. Clean, with comfortable beds. - Clean, comfortable beds Some of the windows didn’t have screens, bathroom door wouldn’t stay shut without being latched shut
- Narelle (8/5): We stayed at the property for 4 nights and had a very pleasant and enjoyable experience. - The property is a quaint little cottage that backs onto a beautiful landscape. The cottage is spacious with all the amenities we needed. The location is walking distance to Long Street which accommodates many cafes, restaurants and boutique stores. If you are challenged by stairs, this is not the place for you.
- Kirsty (8/5): Very good - Lovely location and very easy to get to. Clean, well taken care of and comfortable.
- Joanne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Samantha (8/5): Very good -
- Alicia (10/5): Beautiful cottage with a welcoming vibe! Thank you, absolutely loved it. - Beautiful cottage, clean and fresh, open feeling, decor lovely My mum found it difficult to get into the bath, and needed to place a towel over the bath edge. Mum absolutely loved her stay and was just a bit worried about the lock on the door if she needed assistance in a hurry.
- Christina (8/5): Pleasant short stay at picturesque cottage. - Cute little cottage! Very nicely presented. The couch was a bit uncomfortable and I couldn’t turn the air conditioning on.
- Jacinta (10/5): Lovely cottage for a family. Close to everything. Very clean. Would highly reccomend. -
- Torrin (9/5): Superb -
- Marcel (8/5): Lovely stay in Mount tambourine - Cute little cottage located very close to restaurants and cafes! Absolutely beautiful Could have had some more tea bags hehe
- Gemma (8/5): Very good -
- Sharyn (7/5): Good - Very cosy and clean cottage. Would be ok for a younger couple. The shower over the bath was not easily accessible and we had 2 elderly people staying.
Advert didn't mention another accommodation directly beside the accommodation.
The clearance on the stairs was very low.
- Michelle (9/5): Fantastic place for a for a girls weekend getaway in Tamborine Mountain. - Awesome location. Easy to find. Comfy and cosy place. Base of the shower is very slippery.
A box of tissues would be great.
- Stacey (9/5): Clean, tidy, well priced with good facilities. Perfect for families. - Clean and tidy, the Cedar cottage is a great stay for families. Full kitchen and plenty of room down stairs. Upstairs the two bedrooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. Although some of the fixtures are a bit dated the whole property is well presented. It was perfect for us but would not be good for anyone that can’t get up and down stairs or has trouble getting into a shower bath. I also didn’t like the height of the shower head (too high) and there is no aircon upstairs (but there are ceiling fans in both rooms).
- Hana (10/5): Exceptional -
