Guest Reviews
- Loretta (10/5): - Barefoot Suites is just an overall an awesome place to stay.
- Nicole (8/5): - This is our 4th time here and we always really enjoy it! The staff is very nice and accommodating. The price is always great for the amenities you get. I only knocked a star off for a few reasons, one some of the appliances need to be checked. One of the reasons I come here is having access to an in-unit laundry, and in this case our dryer - the dryer lint catcher - kept falling out of it’s place when using the dryer. It appeared to be broken. Also,
- Luis (8/5): Good place away from home - I was a good place to stay not fancy but conform good location
- Devon (10/5): - Amazing! Just needs to have a better way to check in late. Other than that barefoot, is my favorite place to stay anytime I’m working or visiting in Orlando. I’ve stayed there around 18 times in the last 3 years. This being said, anytime I visit Orlando I will be checking if they have any rooms available before I will go anywhere else!
- MICHEL (10/5): - I've been staying at this property for over 20 years. It does need some TLC and updating, but its like a second home to me.
- julie (10/5): - Love this place have been staying there for years and it's home away from home
- Christina (10/5): - We have stayed numerous times. We love the property and love staying across the street from Fun Spot. Its nice to be able to stroll out every evening, shop, dine and have some fun. The 2 bedroom was very nice, clean and super roomy! We will be back as usual.
- Jose (10/5): - Location. Everything. Excelente.perfect
- Loretta (10/5): - We absolutely Loved Barefoot N' Resort. It was right next to Old Town which was what where we wanted to spend our time. No driving!!! They staff was absolutely awesome. Thank you so much 💓
- JEAN (10/5): Family weekend - My family has stayed here many, many time and enjoy the room, location and the pool! But was disappointed when checking in this time. We have VIP perks and have gotten early check in whenever we have arrived before 4:00. This time the man at the desk was not friendly and said room not available period. I ask when he thought it might be and he was vary vague. I felt he didn’t want to help me out I even said can you please call or text me when the room is available. He never did when we returned later he was not there and another person was working. At this point a few hours had gone by and it was about 4:00. Women stated room still not available but then checked to see if any rooms were available and got us checked in. We also never received and text after check in to see how everything was, which is past stays we did. I just felt the customer service was lacking compared to previous stays.
- Jeffrey (10/5): Great value stay - Always fine and convenient to Old Town
- Roger (10/5): Weekend getaway - The stay was relaxing as usual. We did not have any issues or problems. The staff were nice. Would definitely stay here again!
- Eric (8/5): - Nice property
- K6793CKchristinas (2/5): Roaches in kitchen. - My family and I just left from this hotel. The atmosphere is quite. Beds arent very comfortable and furniture very outdated with dirt stains on the fabric of the chairs. That didn't matter too much as we were out and about a good portion of the day. On the first day there I saw a small bug run across the counter while I was making coffee. I couldn't make out what kind of bug it was at the time and thought nothing of it. The second day I saw another bug on the counter and opened the dishwasher and saw a small roach. I went to the front desk and they offered to do a cleaning of the room for free the following day;which was pointless because we were leaving the day after. They sent someone to spray the kitchen while we were gone. When we came back there were four dead roaches on the floor with one crawling on the counter next to a dead one and one crawling on the kitchen wall.I swept the dead ones to the corner so the housekeeps can see how unkempt that room(and probably the hotel in general) is. The people at the front desk didnt seem surprised when I reported this. I had food I bought that I didnt feel comfortable cooking there because of the bugs. We left the hotel in a hurry the next morning because we were disgusted by the whole experience there. We will not be booking there again
- Judy (8/5): - there is no theme park shuttle that is listed on expedia website
- rebecca (10/5): - Live the barefoot suites. Large enough room for every one. Can walk to old town and world food trucks we love staying her
Not large pool if we go for the pool we stay other hotel
- Jason (10/5): - What a great location for hanging out in old town. Unit was spacious well stocked and clean. I would highly recommend this unit for four adults.
- Miriam (10/5): - I went with my family, and it gave us excellent family-friendly services. My kids loved it. We will definitely stay there when I go to Orlando again!!
- Laura (10/5): - Much better than the last stay there!
- W3712PPdaveg (8/5): true review - Barefoot suites is in a great location, well looked after grounds, clean and tidy suites if a little dated, my only negative is that the mattresses could be replaced with quality memory foam instead of the spring mattresses as they are very nosiey and you feel every movement
- Héctor (8/5): - It’s very good not excellent but good. The situation was the access to the pool area. From the building you need to walk the entire parking lot or crossing the grass area where the little raccoon lives. Another situation are the housekeepers they don’t have any. They told us that they will bring towels every 8 days. There was a dishwasher a broom and cleaning stuff so they pretend that in my vacation I will clean and that’s a No No. the best part? Location.
- Tiffany (10/5): Perfect Location - This is my go-to place to stay in Kissimmee. It's walking distance to Old Town and absolutely wonderful
- Michael (10/5): - Great rooms, very clean and well maintained.
- Kimberly (8/5): Weekend GetAWay - Welp as trying Resorts for travel trying to find that one we will stay in 💯 of time go to Orlando, tried this place .... seen ln Instagram and Facebook... um if yoy want the food parks or food truck park at walking distance this is food place. However in all these two says was not bad but not good persay. I tried ut stayed and will count it out as looking for "that everytime place too stay" asding front desk is fabulous the workers they are sweet and professional... but our two bedroom rented lacked alot and just did not do ir for me i mean for real just wasnt a true 4star place if h ask me but for monies paid it
- Jennifer (8/5): - The pool and recreation area was nice and the rooms were nice and clean.
- Christine (8/5): 1 Week Couples Vacation - Loved our view from the balcony... Saw racoons, deer, and an aligator on the property which was awesome!!
The beds are HORRIBLE!! Stiff and creaky... Needs updating.
Couch is also uncomfortable. Everything needs updating--Decor from 1990s..
Pool tiles falling off everywhere...Hot tub deck is falling apart and is a trip hazzard.
- David (10/5): - Walking distance to Old Town was a perk. The pool was well maintained. The mattresses could use an update.
- Darlene (10/5): Great Location and Great Setup - This was perfect for my mini-vacation with my sister. We each had our own rooms and there was enough space between them so we had privacy, extra bonus was our own bathrooms which made getting ready in the mornings a breeze. I'm a HUGE fan of a few places across the street at Old Town so when it's financially feasible, this will be my new place to stay.
- Denise (10/5): - It was really clean, spacious and a very good location. We had everything we needed and could ask for. Pool was very clean also. Everything was perfect!!!
- Darryl (10/5): - Old Town right across the street - easy access to food and amusement rides
- Tracy (8/5): Barefoot Suites - We stayed at a family for a whole week. The condo is dated with wear and tear, however extremely clean and with everything we needed. So no complaints there. The location would be great for anyone going to Disney. We were going to Universal so it was about 25 minutes, but fine for us. Also there were plenty of restaurants around and literally across the street from Old Town (dare you to ride the Vomitron....we listened to the screams).
We had a great view of the pool on the fifth floor. There are elevators but it was the farthest from them, which was hard since one in our party was disabled. We had a scooter delivered without any issues.
The only complaints were that something happened to the pool during our stay and it ended up being closed. It was a little disappointing. The biggest complaint was the bed was HORRENDOUS. Like, the worst. And while the AC was fantastic, only one blanket. We froze all night. While trying to sleep uncomfortably. I would recommend maybe a mattress topper and some extra blankets and pillows.
- Lori-Lee (2/5): - They have a sewage issue that causes it to backup around the pool area. It flooded part of the pool deck. Asked for a partial refund so we could move to a different resort. Nothing. There are also many raccoons that frequent the parking lot and come inside the pool area during the day and night. They go to the pool to drink. They also advertise a heated pool, but it is not.
- Richard (10/5): - Very nice property within walking distance of what we wanted
- Melissa (8/5): - We had a nice stay. Very close to Disney parks as well!
- Charles (10/5): Family Spring Break - We were happy with the staff. We were happy with the accommodations. We were happy there was more than one elevator. We were happy with the amenities such as the pool hot tub and kiddie pool and they were all in good repair during the duration of our stay. Yes it was way across the street from Old Town however Old Town shut down around 11:00 daily so that really wasn't a disturbance for us
- Renee (8/5): - Great place to stay! Quiet and very clean.
- CHRISTOPHER (8/5): - What did the vip include?
Nice spot, woukd like to see a EV charging station but I think Florida is a bit behind in the Elon stage…
- Nichelle (10/5): - Close to old town
- Maria (10/5): - The barefoot suites is a nice little resort. It’s just next to old town, so many restaurants and entertainment options right there. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment and it had everything we needed.
- Fred L (8/5): - It was close to everywhere I wanted to go
- CoDorset (10/5): Very impressed - Visited for three nights but wished it could have been longer. This resort is well placed just off the 192 and opposite Old Town. It's not top end luxury, but doesn't pretend to be so. The condo we had was incredibly well equipped with everything you need. The front of the condo faces a built up area, but the view from our balcony was Florida greenery, including a herd of visiting deer each morning. Great value for a clean and functional unit, in a really good location.
- Paulo (10/5): - Excellent location and cost benefit, I will really be back.
- Angel (10/5): - Convenient and clean
- John (10/5): - All Details were as advertised. Clean and comfortable.
- leslie (10/5): - Clean, quiet and great location.
- An (10/5): - Loved it, will be back
- Linda B. (10/5): - Everything was great as usual .
- Christopher (10/5): - Desk staff was helpful and friendly. And walking distance to Old Town
- Diane (8/5): - Noise from Old Town.
- Jeanette (2/5): - Bitten by bed bugs and nobody from the property reached out to me!!
- Sergio (8/5): - The property Looks Great, The staff is friendly and helpful but Minor Things like The entry gates don't work in or out, The Soap provided is Inadequate we had to buy Bath Soap, The Tabs of soap provided dissolve like Cardboard and do not lather at all. No issues while we were there. But did not see Any security and the main entry gates remain open day and night as they are Inoperative.
- Victor (8/5): - Location was great, but the bed mattresses were a ide hard on the back.
- tim (6/5): - Keys did not work. Had to get front desk guy to try them. Still did not work. I figured out a little trick to get the latch to work. Hopefully they fixed the problem after I left
- nicole (10/5): - Fantastic location next to old Town! Close to everything but quiet with beautiful pool area. Unit was dated but clean, quiet and very spacious. Absolutely loved it!
- Marsha (10/5): - We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The 2 bedroom/2 bathroom unit was very clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. It was only a 15 minute drive to Magic Kingdom and only minutes away from lots of restaurants and shopping.
Across the street from the property is an amusement park that was a hit with our 2 boys, ages 7 and 9. We would definitely recommend Barefoot Suites and would stay there again.
- Jhasua (10/5): - Really friendly people at the desk and the room was cozy.
I would stay again.
- Todd (10/5): Barefoot Suites - Clean nice room everything was in good working condition. Would Stay here again.
- Sergio (10/5): - Easy checking in
- Janet (10/5): - These units are comfortable and very clean. I love the location. Checking in was easy gentleman could have been nicer more friendly but overall I lovef this resort
- Kathleen (6/5): - The property and our room were great. Check in was not great. It was 7:45 pm when we arrived. The group checking in ahead of me were having issues. I waited 45 minutes. My wait was never acknowledged. No thank you for waiting or I’m so sorry for your wait. I think a second person at check in would be helpful. There was another person that came in and needed help but they ended up leaving. The man sitting at the “resort” desk made it clear he did not work for the suites.
- Siennah (10/5): - Would recommend
- Nicholas (8/5): - Good value. Our room seemed a bit dated but was very clean and I think good value overall.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Bad locks - When I first got there it was pleasant I checked in and there was given room keys and went to room to see my key didn’t work I then went back to check in and they gave me new keys and said it must have been cause I put them next to cell phone I went back they worked I put my stuff in and left came back to not be able to get in room called front desk and was told to come back in she couldn’t leave her desk went back to desk and seen others having the same problem while a frazzled clerk couldn’t figure out the problem beside it must be faulty door battery . She came to room to try to manual make keys and wouldn’t work then tried her master key only to see it wouldn’t work either . After a few minutes she pushed the door open and told me that she wasn’t able to have the issue fixed tonight cause maintenance was gone but if I leave I would just have to get her or security to open door . All in all to be charged a extra deposit fee and still not credited
- Amy (10/5): Will stay again!!! - Everything was great
- Terry (8/5): - Nice balcony. Whirlpool out of order.
- yvonne (2/5): - Bad
- Sharon (8/5): - Very spacious suite. Comfortable but firm king sized bed. Good water pressure in shower. Washer/dryer convenient in suite. Only issue were some sugar ants on the counter in the kitchen.
- Charles (10/5): - Wonderful stay, we were on the 6th floor so no noise and great view from balcony!
- Laura (4/5): - The 1st room the lock didn't work
2nd room the hot water did not work.
- Gregory (10/5): I would stay again - Nice clean big room. Would be great for a longer stay.
- Cynthia (10/5): - Nice
- David (6/5): - Room was spacious and had a full kitchen. Mostly clean although it smelled a little old or something. Place was virtually empty but I was given a 5th floor room. Good price and probably worth it
- Ruth (10/5): - Great Location
- EDWARD (10/5): New Years Eve at Old Town - Staff is very personable and professional. Our suite was a great deal and close to everything
- Keith (10/5): - Favorite place to go
- Luna (10/5): - Everyone was nice and welcoming.
- Mary (6/5): Could have been better - I have stayed at this hotel several times in the past but because I booked the hotel and not the resort it made a big difference! I asked for a handicapped room and it definitely was not. Although there were bars in the shower, there was a bath tub and the side of it came up to my knees! I currently have a broken ankle and I’ve had back surgery, so it makes it hard for me to lift my leg high enough to get over the edge of the tub, thus the reason needing a handicapped bathroom. It was straight across from the play area of old town so literally I thought someone was being murdered, but it was just kids screaming at the top of their lungs from the roller coaster they were on! It was very dark and the security dates do not work kind of scary Coming in and out at night for someone my age. The room itself was comfortable and once everything quieted down at 2 o’clock in the morning, I had a great sleep. But honestly it would’ve been nice to have been able to take a shower while I was there instead of bathing in the bathroom sink!
- Angela (8/5): - Been staying here a few times now and every time is great it's small and quaint ...
- Greg (10/5): - Unique setting old town and fun spot america out the front door and nature out the balcony that was screened. There where deer in the yard. A racoon snuck a drink out of the pool while we sat in the hot tub. Great location highly recommend.
- Kristen (10/5): - Had a great stay! Very grateful for the early check in. Kitchen had everything we needed. Really enjoyed the hot tub and pool! Would definitely stay here again!
- Tiffany (6/5): - Property was fine, very run down and not like the pictures. Had to have housekeeping come the morning after we checked in at 9pm to clean the floors again since my daughter’s hands and feet turned black from crawling around for half an hr. Does have a fridge, stove and other dishes etc which we needed, those items were in good condition. The couch and carpet had lots of stains as well as the shower. The cabinets had obvious water damage and splintering and we not safe for my daughter. This place was fine if you’re not going to be in your room often and can overlook the very beat up property/ room. Being behind old town is loud but the trade off is being close to everything, a sound machine worked well for us.
- Marissa (10/5): - I have stayed at this property multiple times. We very much enjoy it.
- Lazaro (10/5): - Excellent service, super clean and comfortable! Totally worth it.
- Thomas (10/5): What an amazing place to stay! - This place was amazing! It had everything. I was like a home away from home. It has a laundry, A bedroom with closing doors which my wife and I liked. It had a full kitchen, dishwasher, stove, and plates dishes, silverware. A real coffee pot, and toaster. Really awesome. And it is withing walking distance for Fun Spot. There was a bit of noise from the people above us (small children), but not too bad. And whirlpool thing in the tub didn't work, And the icemaker in the fridge didn't work and I couldn't find an Ice machine, but I just got a bag of ice at the gas station, but everything else was fine and we will be back! The pool was heated well and the hot tub is amazing. It is almost like a vacation in and of itself.
- Luke (10/5): - Wonderful place to stay off the 192 beaten trail in Kissimmee
- Pedro Zahlane (10/5): - Coming over here for over 10 years amazing staff great comfortable suites
- Angela (10/5): - Staff was super friendly, and location was perfect.
- Charlie (10/5): - The rooms were very big and clean, just a beautiful property in general. The only draw back for me was the surprise $100 a day security fee.
- Charles (8/5): - This is an economical way to stay near Old Town for their Saturday car show. Just remember to get a 2nd floor unit, there’s no insulation between floors so you will hear every step and noise from the 2nd floor occupants.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Xmas in Disney - Upon arrival we were able to check in early which was great. This property has washer and dryers in rooms since were we on a cruise we decided to wash a load of clothes which led to a leak and a change of rooms. Thanks goodness it was to an adjoining unit. This units washer and dryer did work the maintenance and house keeping were very apologetic. The beds and pillows are comfy the rooms could use a modern touch. They are dated but have what is needed for a family vacation to Disney parks which are 15 min away
- Tiffany (10/5): Best place to stay for Old Town! - This is by far one of my favorite hotels to stay at in Kissimmee! The rooms are fantastic in the staff are absolutely amazing! They make me feel like family every time I come.
- Donna L (8/5): - Liked the size, even the pull-out sofa was comfortable.
Could use a freezer door replacement and maybe a little more cleaning in the corners of the bathroom flooring.
- Jonathan (10/5): Great room for the price! - This was a last minute find, had no plans to stay in Orlando. Pictures looked nice, the price was great, had to book it. The gentleman at the check in desk was great, the process was smooth and quick. The room was very nice, very clean. My only complaint was the bed; it's a little too firm for my liking. Other than that, I am very happy. Would stay with them again for sure!
- Justin (10/5): - Our Go-To place to stay when we go to the Theme Parks. Everything is always kept clean and tidy and the staff is always very nice.
- Ashley (10/5): - We had a one night stay. It was easy to check in and very spacious room for the four of us. Having ceiling fans was a plus too!
- Aurea (10/5): - Suite was very comfortable and clean. Loved that everything was within walking distance.
- David (8/5): Great choice, but beware of wrong amenities! - Everything was great. We only had two problems. One was not really a problem, which they advertised a shuttle to the Disney parks. No go on that, even though it was advertised. Second, it was advertised that there was housekeeping every day. Never saw a housekeeper the entire time we were there. If they are not going to have these services, they need to remove it from their website!
- Ernest (10/5): Enjoyable Vacation - Very very nice and peaceful and enjoyable and I will stay there again when I am in Kissimmee Florida and it was a great experience and I will recommend family and friends to stay there also
- Walter (10/5): - Stay was very nice and clean except the bed was very uncomfortable
- GEORGE (6/5): Some hiccups, but a good stay - I've stayed here a few times before, in the 2nd floor mini- condos. This time we stayed in the tall building. Lots of space. Looked good. But the bed was not the most comfy, the washing machine stopped working mid-wash, the outside hot tub did not work and by the end of the stay, one of the kitchen lights started flickering. BUT, i would stay here again considering past experiences. It's a good location, right next to OldTown
