- Ann (7/5): An adventure in a wildly beautiful location - Natural tropical environment;
Spacious house architecture/layout, good flooring and large windows;
Comfortable, firm bed upstairs;
Welcome gift of 2 beers, oranges & apples;
Pool(unheated);
Layout of the garden;
Efficient & friendly hire of car from Fernando Car Rentals;
Staff readily accessible via WhatsApp and arrived to attempt repairs;
Comfortable for two but insufficient seating/sunbeds for six; Access via the path was dirt & stones, slippery & steep initially, and through pigs tethered to trees waiting slaughter at adjacent rustic village abattoir;
Access to the shop via the path was dirt & stone, slippery & steep at the end;
Water system wasn’t initially explained fully as you have the switch the water pump on to get more than a trickle and off after use to prevent the water tank on the roof overflowing;
Towels were poor quality;
No saucepans or non-stick frying pan;
No hairdryer;
Downstairs toilet don’t flush in spite of a mid-week repair;
Swimming pool pump broke mid-week but the repair didn’t work;
Plants in broken plastic pots - indoor and outdoor;
Some of the outdoor chairs were of poor quality;
Roof leaked continually onto rear path and terrace;

- Eva (6/5): - Beautifull house with wonderful views A long walk from parking lot where a lot of drunk people seem to gather
Almost no water in the tabs witch made it hard to even do the dishes
The internet connection was really poor
- Kathy (9/5): So amazing to have a pool and comfy quarters in the midst of farmlands and amazing mountains. - We loved being right in touch with the shopkeepers and farmers in the countryside. A quiet oasis to return to after a day of hiking beaching and exploring the island.
- Andrea (9/5): The perfect mix of relaxation and location for exploring the real Cape Verde - The location was great for exploring the island and the villa was perfect for relaxation. The bbq was put to good use and the outdoor seating area was great for chilling in an evening. The views from the villa were stunning! Andreas the owner was a great host and always on hand to help with suggestions to make our stay more enjoyable. Whilst the villa was away from the main road, it would be better to have a more established path to it. We were informed of this beforehand and help was on hand with the cases if needed.
- Rosebell (9/5): It was charming, quiet and beautiful house, great for a relaxing and reflection kind of holiday - Location is great in a middle of the mountains close a few shops and restaurants. It is a spacious property and you get the views of all mountains around whichever corner of the house you are in. The short path to the property still yet to be developed well but once you are at the house all is excellent.
