• Thara (9/5): Perfecte locatie - Zeer nette kamer op goede locatie. Ontbijt en alles was goed verzorgd. De eigenaren zijn ook zeer vriendelijk! Zeker een aanrader. Parkeren was even zoeken en de oprit kan wat uitdagend zijn voor minder ervaren rijders
• Sylvio (10/5): TOLLE Stadt, tolle Unterkunft - Tolle Gastgeber, tolle Sicht über die Stadt. 10 Minuten fußläufig im Zentrum. Und nicht zu vergessen das wirklich gute Frühstück. Das für einen Preis von 26 Euro für 2 Personen inkl. Wir können nichts finden.

• Mohamad (10/5): - Ik wil deze vriendelijke familie hartelijk bedanken voor hun gastvrijheid en warme ontvangst. Hoewel het lastig was om Engels met hen te spreken, waren ze altijd vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ze verzorgden een heerlijk en zeer uitgebreid ontbijt. Het uitzicht vanaf het terras en balkon was werkelijk adembenemend. Kasteel Berat ligt op slechts 5 minuten lopen en restaurants bevinden zich op 8 minuten afstand. Alles was fantastisch. De badkamer is wat klein, maar dat is op zich geen probleem.

• Jonas (10/5): Sehr nette Hosts und tolles Haus - Super freundliche Hosts, Englisch ist zwar schwierig aber einfach nur liebevolle und freundliche Menschen. Das Frühstück war super und das Zimmer auch. Die Location ist sehr gut direkt neben der Burg! Würde jederzeit wiederkommen!

• Nayani (10/5): The perfect stay - The perfect location right next to the castle with the best view. The hosts were amazing(even though they only speak Albanian) , their hospitality was amazing. Always smiling and made us feel like family. You will be served with an excellent breakfast with fairly big portions.We enjoyed our walk uphill and there are taxis if you prefer as well. They helped us to get a taxi on the day we checked out. Such a perfect stay and hoping to come back soon..

Aunque los huéspedes no hablan inglés buscan la manera de entenderse contigo, en nuestro caso llamaron a su hija por videollamada para que nos diera las instrucciones. No recomiendo el parking del alojamiento, mejor ir directamente al terraplén público que se encuentra a escasos metros del mismo.

• Putri (9/5): It’s a great stay! - The owners are super nice! Great breakfast and super close to the castle. The parking spot is a bit tight, if you’re not used to drive in a small road, it’d be challenging.
• Nick (10/5): Excellent location and breakfast - Walking distance from the Berat castle. Excellent breakfast. Nice and clean Hospitable hosts Private parking was available. The property is located on a short but steep hill. Parking can be a challenge to maneuver the car into the private lot.

• marjorie (10/5): - Top, logement très très propre, super équipé il manque rien. La tv est une smart tv donc on a pus avoir des films en français. 3 restaurant a moins de 50 mètres, parking privé. Petit déjeuner très copieux. Vu sur le chateau qui est a mois de 50 metres également. Bref je recommande. A ce prix on pense que c'est bisar mais non c'est juste pas cher et top j'ai rien a dire car rien trouvé de négatif.

• Caroline (8/5): Little guest house near the castle! - A nice little guest house. The room was basic but fine for what we needed! Location was great for Berat castle but a bit of a walk down into town and a steep hill so may not be ideal for anyone with mobility issues. Great value for money and helpful, kind owners. Nothing!

Super friendly owners (although we couldn't speak the same language). The thought of the hike up the hill. But I got up in ten mins and it wasn't so bad. :)

Wąską ulicą można zejść lub zjechać do dzielnicy Mangalem. Gospodarze bardzo gościnni, mili. Pyszne śniadanie podali nam na zewnętrznym tarasie. Pokoje i dom utrzymane w perfekcyjnej czystości. W pokoju lodówka. Dostępne ręczniki i kosmetyki kąpielowe. Bardzo polecam to miejsce.

• Philipp (9/5): - First off - ask yourself whether you want a room right up at the castle, 10-15 minutes of uphill walking from the city centre. If yes: this is the place to be! Incredibly kind hosts, a great view, comfy beds and a lovely breakfast. For my stay of one night it was perfect - spending the afternoon / evening in the city centre and then exploring the castle early the next morning. The bathroom was a bit smelly...

• Anna (10/5): - Pan Marjo i jego żona są bardzo sympatyczni i gościnni. Pomimo ich braku znajomości angielskiego nie mieliśmy problemów żeby się z nimi dogadać. Bardzo dobre śniadanie! Guest House pięknie położony, z tarasu świetny widok, kilka kroków od zamku. Pokój bardzo czysty i komfortowy. Parking jest dostępny, ale podjazd jest bardzo stromy, raczej nie każde auto da radę podjechać.

Essere a due passi dal castello è un gran vantaggio per poter cenare nella cittadella. Assolutamente da consigliare.

• Baylee (10/5): - Marjo greeted us with such warmth and homemade raki. The bed and pillows were a dream and the morning of checkout we had the most delicious and beautiful breakfast served to us by his wife. Its right next to the castle, great experience, stay, and location. We will be back.

• Emma (10/5): Goedkoop en goed verblijf nabij kasteel - De ligging bij het kasteel is top. (naar de stad toe is het nog wel een beste afdaling, zeker te voet) Ook het ontbijt was erg lekker en werd rijkelijk geserveerd. De kamer was schoon en netjes alleen het bed was wat hard. Maar prima op geslapen. De douche was heerlijk. Het gastgezin was enorm vriendelijk, we hebben een fijn verblijf gehad. Prijs / kwaliteit een 10. Koffie en/of thee bij het ontbijt zouden een prettige toevoeging zijn. Om te parkeren kun je het pad naar de guesthouse oprijden echter was deze behoorlijk stijl en smal. Het is te doen, maar bereid je voor op een uitdaging, zeker als er meerdere auto's geparkeerd staan.

Le logement était vraiment clean, équipé d'un petit frigo (top pour laisser nos boissons au frais), d'une clim, etc etc. Le petit déjeuner était bon. • Julia (10/5): Ruhig und entspannt - Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett, sie sprechen kein Englisch, aber man kann sich mit Händen und Füßen verständigen. Es war alles wirklich unkompliziert. Das Frühstück war hervorragend und wurde jeden Morgen für jeden frisch zubereitet inklusive Turkish Coffee oder Tee. Der Ausblick von der Terrasse ins Tal ist fantastisch und das Zimmer war erstaunlich kühl, ohne dass wir die Klimaanlage anmachen mussten. Zur Burg sind es wenige Minuten, so dass man abends spontan noch mal von dort ins Tal schauen kann. Es gibt auch genügend Restaurants, falls man abends nicht noch mal den Berg in die Stadt runter möchte. Man sollte sich bewusst sein, dass die Unterkunft oben auf dem Berg ist und man vom Bus aus erstmal ziemlich steil bergauf läuft für 10-15 Minuten!

Nous avons apprécié le calme de cet endroit.La chambre était très propre et il ne manquait de rien. Un petit déjeuner fait maison.Nous y sommes restés deux nuits pour visiter les alentours. On est à même pas 5 min en voiture de la ville aux milles fenêtres.

• Susanne (5/5): - Sauberkeit. Praktische Lage gleich neben der Burg. Es gibt zwar eine Parkmöglichkeit vor dem Haus, jedoch muss man dazu eine Spitzkehre von einer Autobreite mit gleichzeitiger Steigung von mindestens 30 Grad bewältigen. Statt Unterstützung durch einen Einweiser gibt es Kommentare auf Albanisch und hämisches Grinsen, wenn sich die Leute abmühen, an der (sehr niedrigen Mauer) touchieren oder die Kupplung raucht. Schon allein deshalb ist die Unterkunft für alle mit Auto nicht zu empfehlen! Zudem spricht niemand im Haus Englisch, Deutsch oder Italenisch. Jegliche Verständigung beschränkt sich auf das Zeigen des Zimmers, des WiFi-Passwortes und der Bezahlung. Matratzen sind für meinen Geschmack zu weich. Aus dem Bad stinkt der Gulli. Beim Frühstück gibt es zwar ein gutes Angebot, nur Kaffee oder Tee hat man leider nicht. Nur türkischen Kaffee. Fazit: Trotz praktischer Lage neben der Burg überwiegen meiner Ansicht nach die Nachteile.

La place de parking étant en pente nous avons préféré garer notre voiture dans le parking public juste à côté où il restait des places.

Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und das Frühstück war das Beste, das wir während unseres ganzen Aufenthalts in Albanien hatten! Zur Erkundung der Burg ist die Lage perfekt, die anderen Sehenswürdigkeiten sind mit einem Fußmarsch leicht zu erreichen. Die Matratze ist etwas hart.

Warto przyjechać na wieczór, by zwiedzić Berat wieczorem/nocą - jest wtedy znacznie piękniejszy, a latem też nocą przyjemniej. Rano zamek i w drogę :) Bardzo mili i pomocni właściciele. Rano śniadanie na tarasie w cieniu i z widokiem na zamek i Berat.

• Player7 (10/5): Amazing place to stay in Berat - Everything was so nice! The location is near the castle, the breakfast was big, the room was spotlessly clean, the internet was fast, and the hosts were super nice and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay there, and it was quiet all the time. But be aware, it's on top of the hill, so you will have to climb a steep path to get there. We totally recommend this accommodation! P.S.: The coffee from the pictures was ours, brought from home :))

• Christina (10/5): - Es war super. Wir wurden mit kalten Getränken begrüßt, das Frühstück morgens war immer sehr gut und die Lage ist perfekt. Abends ist es empfehlenswert mit Blick über die Stadt auf der nahegelegenen Burg zu essen oder noch was zu trinken. Nur das parken ist etwas herausfordernd, weil es steil ist.

• Melanie (10/5): Gastfreundliches Häuschen mit wunderschönem Ausblick! - Diese Unterkunft ist wirklich unglaublich süß und heimelig. Mario spricht zwar kaum Englisch, seine Gastfreundlichkeit schmälert das aber in keiner Hinsicht. Das Zimmer im Häuschen ist völlig ausreichend, klimatisiert und sauber. Das Frühstück auf dem Balkon mit wunderschöner Aussicht auf die Stadt war mit ganz viel Liebe vorbereitet. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt! 😊 Zur Lage: Die Unterkunft befindet sich am Fuße des Castles of Berat, was echt cool ist. Bedenken muss man lediglich, dass der Weg aus der Stadt zurück nach oben etwas Zeit in Anspruch nimmt.
• kollol (9/5): Great stay near Berat castle - The stay is very close to the Berat castle and the walk to the old town is also quite short (downhill). All facilities were available - and the owners are also quite flexible and helpful. Parking is free in front of the house. Nothing per se - but its good for future guests to know that the house is at the bottom of a curvy sloping road. So if you are parking and there are other cars parked beside, you might not have much space to turn and need to reverse all the way up the curvy steep slope until you reach the main road.

Le parking en pente devant la maison.

Il panorama è spettacolare e lo staff a dir poco gentile e accogliente. Colazione salata con prodotti del posto. Camera di dimensioni giuste con bagno privato dotato di tutto il necessario; abbiamo trovato anche le ciabatte.

• Ephraim (10/5): - We had a truly wonderful stay! The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. Everything was perfectly clean, the WiFi was excellent, and the air conditioning worked flawlessly. We would definitely come back!
• Triantafyllos Savvidis (10/5): - The location is 2min from the gate of the castle. The city center needs a bit of walking to reach but the route is very scenic. The host was friendly and also spoke Greek so we had a long conversation and got to know the place's culture a bit better. Breakfast was also local and enough.

• Christian (8/5): Für Kurztrip nach Berat wunderbarer Ausgangspunkt - Super gute Lage direkt neben der Burg und damit guter Ausgangspunkt für Besichtigung der Stadt Gute Aussicht Sehr nette Gastgeber Gutes Frühstück Sehr gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis Bett gerne etwas komfortabler Unterkunft etwas in die Jahre gekommen (Man muss den Stil mögen)

• Rik (10/5): Nice guest house with amazing breakfast. - Very nice guesthouse with super friendly owners. The breakfast was amazing, even with fresh orange juice. Room is clean and comfortable. The location has private parking but please notice that it is a steep hill.
• Nathalie (10/5): Parfaite petite chambre au calme - Absolument parfait. Accueil chaleureux et souriant avant l'heure du check in. La maison se trouve sur la colline à côté du château avec vue sur la vallée. Chambre propre et confortable avec la clim. Des produits de toilette sont fournis. Le petit déjeuner est excellent et gargantuesque. Le couple ne parle pas anglais mais sont très souriants.
