- Greg (10/5): I love this place. - I have been coming to Escott Bay for over 25 years. I have always found it to be peaceful, restful and beautiful. New owners have taken over and are making improvements to the grounds and facilities. The cleanliness and ground keeping are outstanding. I look forward to coming back another 25 years!
- Kim (4/5): - Lake location was great. Cabin was full of cobwebs. Was rustic which was okay but bed was terrible. Lounge and kitchen chairs were worn and covered with towels to hide it. Very uncomfortable. No bbq. No fire pit. And windows did not have crank to open. Had to remove screens which were held together with tape and push open or go outside and pull open. Everything was closed when we arrived so it was 29 degrees inside. No screen door so couldn’t leave door open for air because of the bugs. But did bring a fan when requested. Overall a 2* or less.
- Bob (8/5): Great place, would like to have had more time to spend there. - Cabin was great- fully equipped, quiet and comfortable. Shower was not working, but staff was working on the problem, so shouldn't be an issue for future.
- Shinji (8/5): - Nice and overall clean cabin. Very easy to check in and scenery was superb. Good for couples and families looking for a quiet time together.
- Iain (2/5): - The place was filthy. Cobwebs on walls, squashed dead incects on window and the most awful amount of mosquitos. There was no WiFi even though it was advertised there would be. The other main issue is that both the staff there couldn't speak English so trying to communicate our concerns was pointless. Very disappointing to have paid what we did.
- Franzi (5/5): Passable - Beautiful view Good mattress enough room Quiet Staff was helpful and niece Not much information in cabin about wifi, rules , Regulation, no number on cabin door had a cap , lots of caddyflies in the cabin. Mosquitoscreen in covered deck was open on top so all the Bugs came in. Only 2 Sets of towels for 4 people. Small hitwatertank so short shower.

- Gerritsen (9/5): A good place to get away, go hiking and just rest, maybe write that novel. - It was remote, very beautiful, peaceful retreat. Cabins are beautiful. The host (past and new host) were friendly, helpful and courteous. Needs some TLC as it goes through transition, some upgrades of amenities, cabins are well outfitted but toaster didn’t work. More information and maybe a small store in case supplies run short.
