Ann (10/5): Fabulous hotel, central location. - Fabulous hotel in a central location. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with lots of choice. Room was large and very clean. Had to run all the taps in the bathroom to get hot water through before having a shower, don't know if this is because we were on the 9th floor.
Stuart (9/5): Beautiful traditional hotel, well situated for business or pleasure.Excellent breakfast .Great staff - Beautiful hotel , located close to old town , shopping , Metro and sights . Everything is within walking difference. Great restaurants within easy walking distance. Staff were exceptional . Great buffet breakfast - everything covered ! To top it off , has a great outside rooftop bar overlooking the city . This is the 5th time I have stayed here !

Mary (10/5): The most beautiful weve eve seen! The area was so safe to walk around in even in the evening! - The hotel was gorgeous! It truly is a palace! Immaculate and smelled amazing! So elegant and the service was impeccable! The only negative was checking in at 10:30 and we knew our room wouldn’t be available to 3:00 (the luggage being stored as a courtesy was a great plus). The breakfast area was still open as 7:00-11:00 were the hours. We only wanted coffee and were allowed, but I saw guests on our last morning in the same situation asking about breakfast after checking in and it’s not clear cut. Persons from the cruise ships have probably eaten but other travelers maybe not. It is a wonderful breakfast we did enjoy our 3 full days there!

Pascal (4/5): - Bonjour, Ma femme et moi avons séjourné 5 nuits dans votre établissement (du 8 au 13 mai) et nous sommes malheureusement déçus sur plusieurs points. Pour un hôtel qui se qualifie de "Palace", nous espérions des prestations d'un autre niveau. Voici les différents désagréments constatés : La vue et l'insonorisation : Nous espérions une autre vue que celle sur les bâtiments intérieurs. De plus, l'insonorisation est très insuffisante : nous entendions absolument toutes les conversations et les cris des chambres voisines. Les odeurs : Des remontées d'odeurs d'égout persistaient dans la salle de bain. J'ai signalé ce problème à la réception, qui a simplement augmenté la puissance du désodorisant électrique, ce qui n'a pas réglé le problème de fond. Le service en chambre : Le premier jour, alors que nous sommes rentrés à 15h30, notre chambre n'avait toujours pas été faite. Le petit-déjeuner : Bien que copieux, il n'avait rien de fantastique pour cette catégorie d'hôtel. Les plats sont restés strictement les mêmes durant nos 5 petits-déjeuners. Pour le prix payé, nous nous attendions à plus de variété et de standing. La piscine : L'espace est agréable, mais le bassin s'apparente plutôt à une jolie baignoire qu'à une véritable piscine d'hôtel. Les points positifs : Le personnel de l'hôtel a été remarquable, très professionnel et très avenant. De plus, l'emplacement de l'établissement est idéal. En conclusion, nous avons passé un séjour très agréable à Barcelone, mais votre établissement n'est "très bien" qu'en surface. Si nous devions revenir, ce serait uniquement pour l'emplacement et le personnel, mais à un tarif beaucoup moins élevé. Cordialement,

In the morning I usually only have a pastry or fruit, don’t want to pay for full buffet. Also, a minor note is the very thin walls allow you to hear your neighbors, likely due to the age of the hotel.

Brooke (10/5): Say yes! It’s perfect. - History, lobby, location, room! I think we may have been on a renovated floor? But it was amazing. Bed was comfortable, street is busy but glass is sound proof so you don’t hear a thing. Also, black out blinds! So good. Very very helpful reception and concierge. I have so much good to say I don’t know where to stop, rooftop pool views are amazing and the afternoon piano player really adds to the feel of the historical lobby. Nothing bad to say.

Die Fenster, auch die innenliegenden zusätzlichen Fenster schließen nicht so gut, dass der Lärm von der Straße abgehalten wird. Wir sind dann in den siebenten Stock, Zimmer 703 (ebenfalls straßenseitig) übersiedelt. Hier konnten wir nachts Ruhe finden! Herzlichen Dank an das Rezeptionsteam!

Wonderful staff, Super helpful and hardworking.Heater was too strong we had to ask for a fan.My son & I enjoyed walking around and room was spacious and clean . I wish they had outlets for our chargers, Cpap machines and other gadgets on our nightstands . There was congress going on so we had a very hard time getting a taxi and uber so the kind staff walked around the blocks to help us with luggage and cabs . Other than the room heat and lack of walk outlets , no breakfast available. We had a great stay overall! Thank You ! Room heater had no control within the room and we had to ask for a fan . There were also no outlets by our bedsides so we had electrical wires around the beds bec my son uses a cpap machine to sleep .

Tiffany (7/5): It wasn’t worth the extra money for the suite we booked - Location was perfect, room wasn’t perfect, showing signs of age and wear and tear. Had to wait to check in which was a little frustrating when we had been sent a text to say they would let us know when our room was ready incase we could check in early. Ended up having to get a taxi to visit the church we had booked a trip for at 4pm as didn’t get in the room until after 3pm Breakfast was average, checked out at 7am and breakfast was 7.30am so only got one breakfast on our two night stay.

Melissa (10/5): Fantastic Hotel for a weekend away. - Greeted by a very welcoming doorman, and very friendly receptionists. We arrived early and they upgraded our room as there was one ready and available which was a lovely surprise. The room was very well maintained, lovely decor and the extras available such as a pillow menu were splendid. Facilities were great also, really lovely rooftop bar, pool and terrace area with amazing views of the city. The location was absolutely perfect. Shopping/restaurants/La Ramla all in very easy walking distance. Nothing that we didn't like.
