• Ricardo (6/5): It’s ok. - The location was decent, near most spots in the old town. Everything was clean and well prepared. The hostel has only one bathroom for six beds on the first floor, which is clearly insufficient. When I took a shower on Friday night, there was no hot water left. I was assigned the top bunk, and unfortunately there were no power outlets nearby, which made charging my phone quite inconvenient. Most hostels nowadays use electronic access systems, which are far more practical. Here, you’re forced to carry a physical key and pay a security deposit just to do so, which feels completely unnecessary and frankly illogical. One last observation: it’s understandable when hostels charge for a locker or dedicated storage space after check-out. But charging guests just to leave their luggage at the front desk makes no sense either.

Tea/coffee/milk/cornflakes were an unexpected bonus, as were soap and shower gel. I was expecting to provide my own. €10 per load of washing is a bit steep, otherwise and it's all good.

• Lison (7/5): Satisfaisant - Très bien placé, un personnel très satisfaisant qui est resté tard pour mon chek-in. Les chambres sont assez spacieuses avec un belle vue sur les rues de la vielle ville de Dubrovnik il y a même un étendoir à l’extérieur pour le linge. Une salle de bain un peu cheap la pompe de douche ne tenais pas et une climatisation poussée un peu trop fort jusqu’à en avoir froid la nuit.

Está en pleno casco histórico. hay que subir demasiadas escaleras. Si vas con mochila está bien sino, no lo recomiendo. El baño podría mejorar un poco, aún así nos gustó en general.

Loved the instructions e-mails received before arriving: very précise instructions on how to get to the hostel and life saving tip on not bringing a suitcase ! With all the stairs in dubrovnik taking a backpack instead of a suitcase was worth knowing. Above all i found the best thing was the excellent advice and friendly company given by Francesco , the receptionnist. He always knew where to go, what to do, gad cultural insight on Croatia and dubrovnik, was reallly nice and chatty. He made the common room agreable and lively which Led to great discussions with fellow travellers during a Rain storm and participated to a wonderful stay! One of the bed lamps wasn't working (not really a problem) and dorm 2's door could use some grease (créatine when opened)

• Monica (8/5): Convenient and affordable spot for the old town - Very helpful staff assisting me to check in after hours. Good location in the old town. Up lots of stairs, not a problem for me but keep in mind if you have mobility issues. No bath towel provided, but may have been because I arrived late.

• Javier (3/5): Incómodo, sin onda, no lo recomiendo - Lo mejor ha sido la atención, las 3 personas que estuvieron en recepción, la verdad lo mejor! Ubicación: es dentro de la ciudad a 5 minutos de la calle principal, hay que subir muchas escaleras, zonas oscuras ….. Ha sido de los peores hostales en los que he estado, realmente lo único bueno es el personal. Cama: Literal dormí arriba de las tablas de la cama, hay muchos comentarios sobre esto, pero es peor de lo que uno se imagina. Chilla, te mueves y hace ruido, o se mueve el de arriba y hace ruido … Me pusieron en la habitación como un sector aparte, que al principio dije que guay, pero entra la luz a las 5am no tiene cortina, y no cierra lo que hay, y el AC no llega. No hay actividades en el hostel. Limpieza: depende realmente de tus compañeros pero te obligan a salir de la habitación de 10 a 13 para limpiar, me parece que son demasiadas horas, pero yo volví a las 15 y ya estaba todo sucio de vuelta. No lo recomiendo

Paco went above and beyond to find me a tin pillow as I am not used to tick ones😬 They offer cornflakes and a nice coffee for breakfast. I'd defo stay there again👌🏽
• Giorgia (8/5): - The location of the hostel is excellent, a short walk from the main gates. You can walk anywhere within the old town, and the bus stops from the port/bus station and the airport shuttle bus are very close. The staff was friendly and the rooms well kept. There are enough power sockets, but better to bring a long cable if you are on the top bed. Not much space to have your items handy on the top bed, but you can hang things on the rails.

El armario muy grande! El último día la chica de recepción me hizo un favor muy grande 🙂 El colchón muy bajo! La sala en común pequeña, pero por lo que vi Dubrovnik en general es así.

Esta ubicado dentro de los muros, y hay que subir muchas escaleras. Es muy cansador si vas con equipaje. Es algo que te advierten antes de reservar, por lo que vayan solo si viajan ligeros.

• Tamara (9/5): Great location. But everything is expensive - The location is great, but does come with some downfalls. Overall, the place was clean, people were friendly. Cornflakes for breakfast. Comfy beds and rooms. You are staying in the most expensive Part of Dubrovnik. So expect to pay a lot for everything. Lots of stairs, in and out of the hostel. So be warned.

• Lucía (8/5): Bien en general - Ubicado en pleno casco histórico. En general muy limpio, aire acondicionado. Tienen una tasa si dejas equipaje tras hacer el check-out por la mañana de 1 euro por hora. Puedo entender que cobren si lo guardan, pero el equipaje se quedaba en medio de la sala de estar sin ningún tipo de seguridad. La cocina es muy pequeña y tiene muchas limitaciones si realmente quieres cocinar durante tu estancia.

Respecto a la ubicación es buena al estar en la ciudad vieja no lo recomiendo si vas con mucho equipaje, hay demasiadas escaleras para llegar hasta allí

Algunas reglas, como no usar la cocina antes de las 9:30 o que el papelero del baño no podia depositarse ningun otro tipo de basura sin haber otro contenedor para ello, entiendo que debe haber gente que se pasa y puede ser un desastre pero fue un poco incomodo

• MAYARA (7/5): Ok - Localização por podermos fazer tudo a pé, lockers espaçosos dentro do quarto e recepcionistas muito prestativas. A área de cozinha é simples, mas equipada. Chuveiro sempre gelado e cama sem privacidade e muito barulhenta. Poderiam investir mais na parte de socialização dos hóspedes.

Also Google maps makes you to wander around the hostel and an easier way to get to the hostel is not provided to you. When I arrived to the hostel, I had to climb 3more floors to reach to my room-not communicated either. Room doors are squeaky and makes the other roommates uncomfortable. When I arrived to the room, there was a man with his underwear! I would not stay there again.

• Yannick (10/5): Geweldig uitzicht en een leuke omgeving, perfect voor solo trips. - Locatie was geweldig, zicht op zee over de muur. Bovenste verdiep waren 4 enkel bedden wat het zeer rustig maakte. Ieder heeft een eigen kastje (breng een slot mee) Ieder krijgt sleutel van kamer en deze kan dan ook op slot. Bovenste verdiep heeft een zeer goede badkamer. Je kan alles horen. Het is een oud huisje en de geluidsisolatie is nihil. Bovenste verdiep hoor je de stad snachts ook heel goed.
• Star84 (8/5): Heerlijk verblijf op een geweldige plek. - Een fijn hostel met een kleine keuken en zitruimte, maar van alle gemakken voorzien en ontzettend schoon. Ik verbleef in de 4 persoonskamer en er was genoeg ruimte en de badkamer was netjes en prettig. Lief personeel dat al mijn vragen kon beantwoorden. Helemaal top dat er een handdoek bij inbegrepen was. Hoewel het in een ontzettende rustige omgeving is, is het hostel van binnen toch behoorlijk gehorig. Ik sliep op de bovenste verdieping en kon duidelijk alles horen van de begane grond in het hostel.
• Cecylia (10/5): Czysty i wygodny hostel w samym centrum starego miasta - Lokalizacja idealna, wewnątrz murów z widokiem na miasto i mury. Pokój 4-osobowy na najwyższym piętrze ma niesamowite widoki! Wygodne łóżka i duże szafki na rzeczy. Bardzo pomocny personel i przyjazna atmosfera. Poznałam tutaj fajnych ludzi! Łazienka przypisana do pokoju, z dwoma pomieszczeniami, co rozładowywało korki ;) Bardzo czysto, pokoje sprzątane codziennie.

• Giuseppe Gia (9/5): Check-in svolto in autonomia a tarda notte! Ottimo! - La struttura si trova nel centro storico, nella parte alta (molti gradini) del lato mare. Ho soggiornato nella mansarda, solo 4 letti singoli con armadio, lude di cortesia e presa per letto ed un bagno in comune in camera. La camera e il bagno della mansarda (3°piano senza ascensore) sono spaziosi rispetto a quelli dei piani precedenti. A ciò si aggiunge una vista mare da un lato della stanza ed una meravigliosa vista sul centro storico dall'altro lato. Per ala camera mansarda non ci sono tende alle finestre, quindi consiglio benda occhi per chi vuole dormire fino a tardi.

• Hanchi amrani (6/5): - J'ai bien aimé l'endroit de l'hostel, calme surtout la nuit. Le personnel est gentil. Je trouve que le rapport qualité prix est raisonable par rapport a l'ancienne ville de Dubrovnik -L'emplacement est bien mais il faut dire qu'il est situé au plus haut point de la ville du coup beaucoup de marches pour l'atteindre !! -Les lits ne sont pas confortables, du coup j'ai mal au dos après 3 jours passés la bas. -Si tu veux faire la nourriture toi même, la cuisine est très petite (2 plaquettes) insuffisante pour une capacité de 18 personnes de l'hostel. -Les toilettes sont petites, et il y a 1 seule pour 6 personnes aussi (mais on peut trouver les autres toilettes des autres étages disponibles), je trouve que c'est insuffisant aussi. Conseils d'améliorations : - En tant que nouveau touriste, l'acceuil devrait etre avec un minimum d'explication sur les activités incontournables de la ville, ce qui pourra mettre une ambiance chaleureuse au début et rendre l'experience de l'hostel beaucoup plus sympatique.

• Kamalendu (8/5): - The hostel was in a very nice location and the staff was very nice and warm. The hostel was clean and was very cozy. The toilet is a bit small. When you sit on the toilet your knees might touch the door if you are long.
• Seen Yee Ida (9/5): - The facilities are excellent. I did not use the kitchen. It is on the cozy side but I would think functional. I used the sitting area and it is nice. Location you could not ask for more. It is also on a quiet beautiful neighborhood and you can see the city wall right from your room. Storage is plentiful. Hostel is well managed. People are respectful and friendly. Power /electrical outlet for each bed is pretty standard for hostels these days but not in this one. I need to move the whole bunk bed, unplug the light, in order to plug my phone in and I don't have access to it on the upper bunk. This really needs to improve. Also the mattress is on the thin side. Did not bother me too much though.
• JOSE (10/5): Buena elección. - Práctico, funcional y con un precio razonable para una ciudad tan cara como Dubrovnik. Es un sitio sin lujos, pero muy bien organizado y una vez conoces el entramado de las calles, tiene una ubicación muy adecuada. El no poder quedarme más días. Las vacaciones son lo que tienen.

• Vitória (6/5): - A localização é ótima! A cidade velha é pequena, de forma que tudo está próximo com uma caminhada. Porém, o hostel fica pertinho da muralha, então não se ouve o barulho da Stradun, apenas o barulho do mar (que está bem perto). As comodidades também são boas, os banheiros e quartos são limpos, bem como as áreas comuns. Precisei chegar após o horário de fechamento da recepção. Apesar de haver um número de emergência e uma pessoa "de plantão", não foi de grande ajuda, pois a pessoa que me atendeu não conseguiu falar com a pessoa que estava de plantão (que estava dormindo). Fiquei no quarto do terceiro andar, mas as outras pessoas do quarto saíram e trancaram, ou seja, eu não pude achar a minha cama e já era uma da manhã. Por sorte, eles chegaram e abriram pra mim, caso contrário não haveria resolução por parte do hostel. Minha sugestão é que o telefone de emergência seja do funcionário que estará presente durante a noite no hostel, para que ele possa efetivamente fazer algo caso aconteça alguma emergência. De resto, amei tudo!
