- Merrick (10/5): - In many years of travelling this was one of the best places I stayed at. The owners are incredibly friendly and went to great lengths to accommodate us following two days on a felluca. Location is away from the maniac tourist part of Luxor. Very close to a great neighborhood to walk around. The food at the hotel was the best we had in Egypt. Full room with kitchen was everything you need. Cold beer and water on sight. Absolutely nothing.

- Kim (8/5): Great value for money! Central and comfortable! - As backpackers we were thrilled to have a washing machine, a working AC and a big shower. In Egypt for this price we often have the small shower head above the toilets and here it was not the case. The room was very big. The terrace at the top had a decent WiFi and the staff was very kind. Great breakfast as well and dinners! The room was dark. We were at ground level floor and because our unique window in the kitchen was facing the wall and there were no windows in the sleeping room we had to leave the lights on all the time. That’s not a big deal, but just be aware: there is no view! Another thing was that the WiFi was really bad half of the time so we couldn’t work.

- Namsik (10/5): 룩소르 최고의 숙소 - 제일 좋은 점은 친절한 주인과 직원들이었어요. 이름 물어보는 걸 깜박했는데 오전에 일하는 직원이 엄청 친절했어요. 벌룬 투어를 하려고 3일 내내 알아봐주셨는데 너무 친절하시고 가격도 매우 좋았어요. 시장에서 친해진 상인도 그 가격은 현지인 가격이라고 알려주더라구요. 조식도 맛있고 아침 일찍 투어 가는 날엔 먼저 런치박스 만들어 준다고 하시고 뜨거운 물도 너무 잘 나왔어요. 위치도 나일강변 시장이랑 다 걸어서 10-15분 거리라 공항에서 올때 빼고는 다 걸어서 다녔어요. 고양이도 너무 귀여웠네요.

- Luo (10/5): - 入住前，酒店就一直主动联系我，确认到达时间。我乘巴士从阿斯旺到卢克索，到达卢克索已经是晚上十一点了。酒店员工已经提前准备好房间，并且一直等着我，看到我到达时立刻出来接待，这点让人感觉很好。 房间很舒服很干净，设备应有尽有，游玩了一天回来可以得到很好的休息。 酒店的地点靠近卢克索神庙和尼罗河岸边，可以步行到达。如果想住东岸强烈推荐这家。

- Simoncini (8/5): Rumore a tutte le ore! - Consierando il prezzo pagato per 3 notti (circa 55€) sono più che soddisfatto. Premetto di aver preso una stanza singola con bagno in comune. Nessun problema per bagno, stanza etc. Il PROBLEMA è la sua posizione, con balconcino che da sulla stradina dove passano a tutte le ore motociclette rumorossisime che suonano clacson di continuo. In più moschea vicinissima che richiama alla preghiera. Tutto questo perchè gli infissi della camera non sono adeguati e si sente tutto. Dormire è stata un'impresa. Non ripeterei l'esperienza e magari prenderei una stanza senza affaccio sulla strada.

Manca una targa e un campanello all'ingresso per favorire chi arriva per la prima volta. Il tendone dal roof garden che copre il panorama.

Wir konnten es erst gar nicht finden, da es kein Schild oder Hinweis am Gebäude gibt. Die viel gelobte Dachterrasse war voller Wäscheständer und Bergen von Dreckwäsche. Von dem Burger den wir dort gegessen haben haben wir starken Durchfall bekommen und das Frühstück war auch nicht gut. Für 20€ mehr kann man im Steigenberger unterkommen.

Austin, the owner, went above and beyond to make sure I felt at home. He was incredibly friendly and always available to offer recommendations or assist with anything I needed. The staff were equally attentive, always making sure I was comfortable and well taken care of. The highlight of my stay, however, was the food. The dinner served at the guest house was by far the best Egyptian food I’ve ever tasted. It was rich in flavor, fresh, and authentic—each dish felt like a true representation of local cuisine. Overall, Abeer Guest House provided a memorable and outstanding experience that I would highly recommend. Honestly, there was nothing to dislike. My stay at Abeer Guest House was perfect!

- Nadège (7/5): Idéal pour les petits budgets qui se contentent de l'essentiel (accueil chaleureux et commodités) - La gentillesse des hôtes et du personnel, plus qu'agréable, serviable, disponible et de bons conseils. J'ai même pu changer de chambre. La localisation, idéale pour rejoindre à pied le temple de Louxor. Le petit déjeuner très copieux. Le fait qu'ils n'aient pas demandé (comme tous les autres) d'avoir absolument un 10 sur booking (d'ailleurs ça fausse toutes les notes du coup vu que beaucoup s'exécutent pour faire plaisir) Ma première chambre était bruyante, étouffante et sans fenêtre donnant sur l'extérieur, ça rendait la chambre oppressante. La lumière du couloir allumée toute la nuit qui passe par la vitre de la porte de la chambre n'aide pas non plus. J'ai demandé une autre chambre, et dès le lendemain, j'ai été satisfaite mais là encore, difficile à cause de la lumière et la fenêtre donnait sur un mur, donc pas de lumière de l'extérieur. (mais plus calme du coup !)

- Dirk (10/5): - Tolles Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis! Das Gästehaus liegt sehr günstig. Man ist zu Fuß sehr schnell an der Corniche oder am Luxor Tempel. Wir hatten eine Wohnung im Erdgeschoss, die Zimmer war großzügig und sehr sauber. Das Beste: Du kriegst von den Inhabern und den Angestellten ganz viele Informationen, Ausflugsvorschläge und Verhaltenstipps. Das ist das große Plus und ideal für Individualreisende. Wir haben uns sehr wohl und sehr sicher gefühlt. Man kann das Frühstück auf der Dachterrasse einnehmen. Radi hat sich sehr aufmerksam um und gekümmert. Zu sehr fairen Preisen stehen immer kühle Getränke zu Verfügung. Abeer hat uns einen Fahrer nach Assuan organisiert, mit dem wir individuelle Stops in Edfu und Com Ombo machen konnten. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft für alle, die eigenständig die Stadt und die Umgebung erkunden wollen (Theben-West) und eine saubere und freundliche Unterkunft haben wollen.

- Simon (10/5): A home away from home - An important part of what made my stay in Luxor so exceptionnal. The accomodation is the very definition of bang for your buck, being fully equipped, with the extra services being extremely cheap. But what I wanna point out the most is the atmosphere on the rooftop: show up at the right time, and you're guaranteed to meet Luxor's finest: expats, tour guides and locals often gather and are more than willing to have you join the good times! It really reminded me of 19th century salons, or the Friends apartment. I wanna give special props to Austin and Abeer, the owners, as well as to Noor who helped me a ton during the stay. Thanks a bunch!! I usually only stay one night in every place I go in, but I booked 2 other nights with them because I had such good times. By far the best stay in my 3 week Egypt trip. Nothing

- Yvonne (9/5): 老闆跟員工都友善又熱心幫忙 - 老闆是位愛爾蘭人，溝通上非常順利，而且非常感謝他的大力幫忙，我們原本預約熱氣球的時間都因天氣因素取消，因隔天一早就離開路克索，老闆為了我們的最後機會，不斷幫我們尋找位置，還必須確保能趕上隔天早上離開的車子，一路聯絡到晚上11點，非常感謝他無償的幫忙，讓我們能趕上期待的熱氣球。 員工服務也很周到，為了確保我們不會睡過頭沒搭上熱氣球，他在出發前10分鐘的會來敲門，還幫我們拿行李，非常感謝 提供的早餐也很充足好吃，而且乾淨衛生，員工服務也很棒，樓頂也有餐廳跟酒吧，可惜這幾天逛景點後都無法上去好好享受。 住宿需要爬樓梯
- Ben (10/5): Excellent value for money in an authentic Egyptian neighborhood - This was like a little gem in the middle of a typical Egyptian neighborhood - not dangerous at all, just a little chaotic, like all of Egypt. It is the real Egypt here, not a huge tourist hotel, but with easy access to all visits. I think we got the quietest place, a beautiful apartment with no noise from the outside. The personnel were fantastic, so friendly and helpful (unfortunately we did not meet Abeer). Austin gave us lots of practical advice. The location is perfect, easy access for taxis, Uber, Kareem, .... and very close to the Nile if you want to walk along the Nile. Next time (Inch'Allah) we will come to see the rooftop (briefly closed for renovation) and a meal there! Thank you for everything! Perfect for us - we'll come back to discover the rooftop!

Excepto el ruido en una de las habitaciones, hay muchos pitidos y motor de vehíc - La habitación era muy cómoda, y sobretodo el personal fueron muy agradable y servicial. Nos sentimos muy bien. El ruido y los pitidos de los vehículos. Tuvimos que comprar tapones.

Austin e Abeer ci hanno aiutato anche ad organizzare un giro in mongolfiera all'ultimo minuto, super apprezzato. Cucina ottima e consiglio molto anche la cena per un po' di tranquillità e sapori tipici egiziani, un grazio ancora anche allo staff che ha cucinato ogni giorno per noi.

Uno de nuestros tours salía antes de la hora del desayuno, por lo que nos realizaron una lonchera que pudimos llevar, esto define el nivel de servicio que tienen 😊. Recomiendo probar la cena de comida egipcia! El lugar en sí está bien, aunque la ubicación no es la más bonita. Es una zona más local y humilde, permite conocer un poco del verdadero Egipto, igualmente nunca nos sentimos inseguras! (Éramos 2 mujeres)

Suffisamment de lampes et spacieux salon. La station de bus, la gare et les bords du Nil sont à moins de 1km. Karnak à 4 km. Le petit déjeuner est très varié, surtout des produits locaux. Il est servi sur le rooftop aménagé, ce qui est très agréable.
- NORIKO (10/5): ルクソールで快適な滞在！ - オーナーが親切に色々対応してくれた。 早朝5時のフライトに空港までの車を手配してくれたり、洗濯物が乾きやすいよう乾燥機をまわしてくれたり、スークの位置を教えてくれたり、短い滞在だったがとても快適に過ごせた。 ランチのフライドポテトは奥様のお手製スパイスが美味しかった✨ ルクソール神殿やその向かいのスークまで歩いて行ける距離。 入り口が少しわかりにくかも。 ６階建ての階段だけど、荷物は運んでくれたし、エレベーターも建設予定らしい。
- dank (10/5): - This Guesthouse is fantastic. It's the management and team of staff that make the place special. Abeer and Austin are wonderful kind genuine people. Noor and the rest of the team are so kind and helpful. It feels like you are part of an extended family when staying at Abeer Guesthouse in Luxor. The place is spotless clean throughout at all hours. They have comfortable beds and hot showers. They offer great food( massive portions 😅) at fair prices. The roof terrace upstairs is enclosed and like a huge social living space where you can meet other wonderful like-minded individuals and groups of travellers/tourists. The location is great, 5mins walk from the Nile and the main Corniche strip and the posh hotels. It's in a residential area, which is very safe (as is all of Luxor) and feels like your immersed into the proper Egyptian lifestyle. Abeer Guesthouse, is no frills, simple and honest , the value for money is tremendous and the best part is 100% the people who own it, their wonderful staff, and the decent people from all walks of life that end up staying here for a few days or so. I have fond memories, and will certainly visit again in the future, god willing. Was a bit noisy in the front rooms, so bring earplugs . But this is standard throughout any big city in the world, and especially in Egypt during Ramadan. So much energy and fun!

La struttura è un intero palazzo di cinque piani ristrutturato e nell'ultimo piano c'è la cucina dove si fa anche colazione e credo anche cena. È pulito ed è un ambiente davvero tranquillo. Appena arrivati ci hanno OFFERTO una bottiglia di acqua e anche caffè e tè. Le lenzuola e gli asciugamani erano puliti e profumati e siamo riusciti a rilassarci veramente. La colazione era più che abbondante,con formaggi,omelette,fagioli,verdura,frutta, yogurt,cereali..insomma,non mancava niente! Altra nota importante,la wifi funzionava molto bene ed era diversa per ogni piano. Se non riuscite a capire qual'è esattamente la palazzina,chiedete ai local che la conoscono tutti ed è un quartiere molto tranquillo.

Great breakfast is served on the rooftop by super friendly and helpful staff. However, the absolute highlight is the dinner available at the hotel; it is probably the best food you can find in Luxor! The local dishes are fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced. I strongly recommend dining here rather than anywhere else. A sign on the street would make it easier to find the place.
