• Thomas (5/5): Great central location, but unfortunately the stay was negatively affected by poor cleanliness, uncomfortable bedding, a - The main advantage is definitely the location – it is right in the city centre and very convenient and easy to access everything on foot. Unfortunately, there were several serious issues that affected our stay. Cleanliness was not at a good standard at all, with hair found in the bathroom, on pillows, and in multiple areas. The bathroom itself felt unsafe, as you have to step up into the shower area on a small step which can be slippery and requires caution. The ventilation in the bathroom is poor, leading to a lot of humidity, and the water pressure was very weak during our 3-day stay, making showering difficult. Another major negative was the bed. The mattress was in very poor condition and extremely uncomfortable, and the bed linen, pillows, and bedding overall were of very low quality and visibly worn. There is also significant noise from bars located underneath the apartment, with loud music and voices continuing until very late at night, which made it hard to sleep. On the positive side, the price was better compared to other options we considered, but we now understand why. Overall, excellent location, but too many issues affecting cleanliness, comfort, and sleep quality.

• Evangelia (1/5): Not as good as expected - Unfortunately, our experience at this property was not as good as expected. The room had mold in several areas, which caused a strong and unpleasant smell that affected the room, the bed sheets, and even our clothes. The smell was even more intense in the bathroom. Using the air conditioning for heating made the situation worse, as the odor became stronger and we woke up with nasal congestion. When we contacted the owner about the issue, we were told that there was no mold smell, which did not reflect our experience. Cleanliness was average. On the positive side, the location is excellent and very convenient.
• Tomas (7/5): - Super centralna poloha, so vsetkymi pozitivami aj negativami. Velmi ochotny hostitel, odpoveda velmi rychlo a poskytuje kompletne informacie. Lahky pristup do apartmanu cez kody. Dobrý pomer cena vykon. Velmi hlucna lokalita, specialne v piatok vecer a pocas vikendov. Zvlastny puch v apartmane, neviem ci z cigariet alebo nejakej zvlastnej vlhkosti (kupelna totiz nie je nijako odvetravana). Plus zvlastny hluk zvnutra z kupelne, neviem v dosledku čoho, asi nejake cerpadlo. Kupelna by si uz zasluzila renováciu.

Doron was a very kind and good host and always available to respond to anything we needed! We had to wait for approximately 20-30 minutes for the water to reheat as there were 4 of us that had to shower. But other than that everything was excellent!

• Magdalena (9/5): Będziemy niezwykle miło wspominali ten niespełna tygodniowy pobyt. - Bardzo dziękuje Doronowi, czyli osobie, któa się nami zajmowała jako obsługa hotelu. Była bardzo pomocna, miła, kompetentna. Można by bardziej dźwiękoszczelne okna wprawić, jeśli to możliwe, ale w sumie lekki hałas miasta nam nie przeszkadzał. Gdyby mieć możliwość przechowania bagaży już po opuszczeniu apartamentu do momentu odjazdu na lotnisko, byłoby bardzo dogodne. Co prawda może można było, ale nie zapytaliśmy.

Δυστυχώς ήταν πολύ στενάχωρα και υπήρχε σοβαρός κίνδυνος τα παιδιά στον καναπε-κρεβατι να χτυπήσουν το κεφάλι τους στον πάγκο της κουζίνας. Ακόμη το μπάνιο στο δωμάτιο 2 είναι υπερυψωμένο με δύο μικρά επικίνδυνα σκαλακια με σοβαρό κίνδυνο πτώσης.

• George (10/5): Excellent stay in a central location, we highly reccomend. - We stayed at Ermu Funky Lofts for three nights during our trip for the Athens Marathon, and everything was absolutely perfect. The location couldn’t be better — right in the heart of Athens, within easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, and major sights. It made exploring the city effortless and enjoyable, even after long runs! The apartment itself was spotless, stylish, and very comfortable, with all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was super cozy, and the small design touches gave the space such a welcoming vibe. Communication with the hosts was smooth and friendly — they were responsive, helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed. We couldn’t have asked for a better base for our marathon weekend. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Athens — we’d definitely stay here again! -

• Wairimu (6/5): Fine overall - Central area that felt safe and lovely. There is no In-person staff but easy to access the building and room. Good size, good ventilation and strong A/C. Didn't use any kitchen items other than the microwave, and that worked nicely. You can't be dropped off in front, taxis have to drop off around the corner. Not far walk, but better to know now than think your taxi messed up the drop off like I did. My room lacked small details. Spacious rain shower, but no shelf or basket inside. Lovely original Nespresso machine, but no Nespresso pods provided or encouraged to bring. Nice looking kitchen, but no paper towels / hand towel to dry hands or around the sink. Big room and nice wardrobe, but no mirror to see your full self (bathroom mirror is too high). Everything also felt high except the hard bed which was fairly low. Also just a customer service item. It doesn't come across well to be asked if I planned to leave early. Likely the next guest wanted to check-in early, but I should not feel hurried.. They also sent me something about taking trash outside to the bins. I didn't agree to clean for them, if staying a month sure maybe I want to take trash out but not 2 nights. Also for the area in general, there are church bells mid-morning.
• Aurora (7/5): Apprezzabile e centrale - Posizione centrale e stanza poco rumorosa. Anche se non abbiamo mai visto gli host sono stati molto gentili. Mai avuto un incontro di persona con gli host, forse avrei lasciato delle mappe o indicazioni su attrazioni e ristoranti, magari per colmare l'assenza. Qualche cialda di caffè non sarebbe stato male visto che c'è una bella macchina, per i soggiorni brevi è un po' difficile che qualcuno acquisti delle confezioni di cialde. Anche se c'è la cucina attrezzata e moderna non c'è un tavolo né sedie, abbiamo mangiato sui letti.

Restaurants and bars are just nearby, but the room itself is not noisy. Metro and bus within 5 min walk. Wifi is reliable and the kitchen is equipped for basic needs. The bathroom has some downsides. The shower is elevated so I think it dries out therfore smells when not used for few hours. The door of the bathtube is quite narrow and you have to walk down on slippery steps. The toilet flushes extremly loud. None of these is super-uncomfortable, but for someone who is more picky it can ruin the holiday. For us the location/price/helpfulness compensated enough.

Kitchen perfectly equipped for coffee/tea and small meals during the stay. Light-blocking curtains. Quiet and well-working aircon. Good communication with host. Being in the heart of the center and surrounded by shops and restaurants, it was noisy almost 20h/day, despite of double glass in the windows and use of earplugs. Might you be a sound-sensitive sleeper, this might not be the best place for you. As for the shower, it has a little, somewhat slippery step, which might benefit from a grip or anti-sliptape to avoid slipping when getting out of the shower.

In general, I just liked the location and I was not very satisfied, especially since I was with a child and I had to cook. They were also very accommodating with our needs and always responds so quickly so it’s easy even if there’s no staff in person. Nothing really, what could be nice though is having a full length mirror and maybe an extra hanging space for the bath towels in the bathroom.

The space may be small but it’s clean and comfortable. The directions to the apartment were a little confusing. Street view from Google placed it on the other side of the block. There was no signage on the building that mentioned the name of the apartment. There were also no lights on in the hallways of the building when we arrived so it was quite dark until we made our way to the apartment. We updated our arrival information and the air conditioning was not turned on upon our arrival which was quite hot and no water in the fridge.

• Ena (10/5): Faboulous, I will be back again in this apartment and recommend to friends - Fantastic location, in the heart of Athens, 5-15 min to all you need: main streets, metro, bus station, shops, Acropolis, roof tops, Plaka, great neighborhood with bunch of restaurants. Host allowed us to check earlier which meant a lot. Easy access to building and apartment with code. Equipped modern, big shower Miss one hanger for jackets and stuff, nothing else. Also not recommended for people who want silent neighborhood and nights, since nightlife is pretty noisy in the center.
