Guest Reviews
- Meliza (7/5): - Cleanliness
A sécuriser
- Chris (7/5): - Location to transport and shop Very loud,(street noise)double bed was small and jammed in a corner, very few plugs
- aran (8/5): -
- Babak (4/5): - Close to Center They never provided internet access.
Water was Cold
Very noisy
- Bernadette (5/5): Perfect local and passable for one night - Location was perfect. 3 min walk from Hoxton station and just a 5 minute walk to Hoxton Hall where we were going that night. Could not have been better placed. Beds were comfortable. People were really good about letting us check in early. It was dirty and run down. The kettle had what looked like spaghetti sauce splashed up the side and was caked on the inside with lime scale. The shower mat had what looked to be toothpaste smeared across it. Crumbs in the fridge. Beds were clean but bedding was old and faded. Paint was flaking from window sills. The extension cord light was flashing so didn’t feel safe using it. When I went to unplug it to plug in my phone a pin stayed in the socket. People in the flat above were very loud scrapping things across the floor as we were trying to sleep so this was past 11pm.
- aldo (7/5): - The location was very good, on walking distance from Liverpool street. The appartment was ok because we were mainly outside. There is a kitchentable to sit on durting the stay. The road was (for us) very loud. Since we not used to the noise of cars during sleeping time. Moving the bed to the kitchen helped us
- Jessimkah (1/5): Avoid - Proximity to the village underground venue. Property was very difficult to find and felt unsafe. The entrance and stairs were very dark and dirty. The key for our door was missing which made us nervous that someone else had it and had access. The rooms were run down and not clean and the door did not have adequate locks. Overall we did not feel safe staying here. We ended up booking a different place to stay which was frustrating as this property was not refundable and the owners were hard to get in contact with so I didn't bother trying to get a refund.

- Grzegorz (4/5): Disappointing. - The address provided by booking.com is wrong.
The place is noisy: outside noise plus you can hear what's happening in the apartment above.
The windows don't close properly.
See pics for more.
- Gino (7/5): Clean, excellent base for sightseeing in London - Location was great. Close to Shoreditch, plenty of cafes and restaurants. Also close to Hoxton station Nothing really. Was little noisier than usual in the night but I guess your on a main road and it’s London

- Eva (6/5): - Location is near the overground, which is nice. You need earplugs when sleeping. There is a lot of noise during the night from the street. The water temperature of the shower is not working well and there is mold in the shower.
- Mary Jillian (10/5): -

- Gelert (8/5): -
- Marianela (7/5): - The location. Very close to the bus stops that take you to the main tourist attractions.
The beds are comfortable. Too pricey. The apartment is tiny for what it costs.
Neighborhood too noisy 😕
- Gemma (4/5): -
- Daniel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sara (7/5): Cozy and quiet nook in Shoreditch - Location is great, right outside the overground station and with bus stops literally at the door. Easy to walk to Shoreditch too. The space is small but functional and well arranged. Beds are comfy and everything was very clean. Windows let in quite a bit of noise from outside, maybe something to look into.
- Shannon (8/5): Very good -
- Vamshi (5/5): Passable - Very spacious Water leak, broken microwave and lack of detailed instructions for self checkin . The house number is not visible.
- Leonora (8/5): Very good -
- Christine (10/5): Exceptional - Great location
- Matthew (10/5): Cheap, cheerful and easy access to all of London - Perfect location with a very easy check in, very cheap for what you get, plenty of facilities if you’re staying for a few days, can’t ask for more really! Can’t think of any faults for the price
- Stanislav (8/5): Modest and convenient - Positioned perfectly, next to Shoreditch Exchange, where we were attending a multi-day event. It was also very easy to take a bus to the city centre or just walk there. Great location at a fair price. The bedrooms are at the street-facing side of the building. The windows are not sound insulated, so the city noise made it hard to sleep. Bring ear plugs if you're staying at this place.
- Jun (4/5): Disappointing -
- Aviral (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, and most importantly great host! Highly recommend
- Sebe (8/5): Good value for money for a family of 5. A few days is perfect, for more, keep in mind the street is busy and noisy. - Location was great, the host was so nice and available, we had good beds for the 5 of us. It is no much noisy, with one layer window glass…we are not used to it and had a hard time to fall asleep.
- Lani (7/5): Good - Great small space for 1-2 nights The shower temperature gauge was broken
- Isaura (5/5): Passable - Good contact with home owner, location was nice (door was sketchy to find), not sure if it was worth the pricing buy for something in London it was cheap and a good option. Shower definitely needs to be fixed (only gives hot water), maybe more toiletpaper available for guests, place definitely needs a fixing, bathroom door didn’t close and some sheets were dirty.
- Rob (7/5): Good - Location to station and ease of check in was great
- Yasmin (7/5): Good - The place was tiny. No family room, no tv, no AC. 3 beds in one room (too tide). There were mold on the ceiling and walls. Close to the station. The place was tiny. No family room, no tv, no AC. 3 beds in one room (too tide). There were mold on the ceiling and walls.
- Jebin (7/5): Great location with good facilities. - Great location, lots of transport links. A good number of beds, good kitchen equipment such as kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge, oven, pots and pans to use. Washing machine and dryer available for use at the property (but bring your own washing pods/soap powder). The shower - unable to control the temperature of the water.
Did spot the odd ant in the kitchen/main bedroom. But generally felt clean.
- Ed (6/5): Pleasant -
- James (8/5): Excellent value for money in a good location. Will stay again. - Clean and spacious with all amenities provided. Even a beer and water in the fridge. Good communication with the host and easy check in. No light in the communal hallway so had to use my phone torch to get up the stairs.
- Natalia (6/5): Pleasant -
- Rosela (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anna (8/5): Great for last minute find and one night stay - Great location and apartment had good amenities inside Shower only worked on scolding hot so could not really use shower
- Linda (9/5): London trip - Good location. Plenty of places to eat and drink within walking distance.
Comfortable beds. Nowhere comfortable to sit.
Not a very welcoming entrance.
- Martin (9/5): Superb -
- Ken (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ellinor (8/5): Great location and place to rest your head while in London - Very good location, looks a bit sketchy before you actually get inside the apartment but nice enough once inside. Nice bathroom and the place was very clean. Stairs up to the apartment were steep and I would have been a bit nervous while getting to the property if I was alone as the entrance area is dark and not very inviting.
- Brendan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dominic (6/5): Good staff, and ok place, - Beds were very comfortable and clean, Location was very noisy at night but didn’t feel that safe late at night going into the property which was a first floor flat.
- Valentin (7/5): Good -
- Samdw_ch (5/5): Not so beautiful place - Well located close to Brick Ln and High St. No running Wi-Fi, no warm water and windows that let in a lot of noise and cold air from the street down below
- Pamela (5/5): Won’t be back - Nothing Stairs awful, mouse trap outside the door, shower and sink didn’t drain
- Duncan (8/5): Pleasant one night stay - Great location and easy to collect keys. No WiFi
- Sarah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Adam (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alison (8/5): Very good - fabulous central location. Clean, quiet and exactly as described
- Will (7/5): Good -
- Anton (7/5): Good - Great location and nice to have 3 single beds and one double in two different rooms. Recommend for a group of friends who don't plan to spend that much time in the apartment, and want to live close to the night life. It was rather dirty on arrival. There was a washer and dryer, but no dish washer. Thin windows, you heard everything that was going on outside at night, which was quite a lot. Don't recommend if wake up easily at night.
- Nicola (7/5): Clean and comfortable, quite basic but suited our needs for the night. - Good location. Was very hot couldn't adjust heating.
- Phil (3/5): Poor - location very good very noisy, curtains don’t fit windows, no TV, not well maintained
- Catriona (6/5): shocked at the entrance but it’s fine when you are inside and not expensive for two bedrooms - very clean 2 bedrooms kitchen and decent shower near lots of interesting bars and restaurants no tv no Wi-Fi, terrible dirty shared entrance hall, over a shop on a very noisy road
- James (8/5): Great location, good stay, no problems - Flat was clean and was a pleasant and comfortable stay for 3 nights. Location is excellent, very handy for a business trip to the City, only 25 minutes walk to Liverpool Street station or a short bus hop.
Close to a Sainsbury's Local which made filling the fridge for 3 days easy.
Bathroom looked essentially brand-new and well fitted out, although it was a slightly odd shape. Bed was comfortable and I slept well.
Easy to get the keys and straightforward stay once I was in, no problems for me. Entrance hallway (before entering the flat proper, and shared with the upstairs flat) was dark and made a poor first impression. I thought I'd made a terrible mistake! But it was perfectly light and clean once into the flat itself.
A proper curtain or blinds on the kitchen/diner window would have been nice, I felt a little bit like I was on show when the lights were on, especially when exiting the bathroom. It would also have been good to have some cosier lighting - a few pounds spent at IKEA on some floor lamps and table lamps would help a lot.
There was nowhere to sit down and relax in the flat that was genuinely comfortable. It would have been great if one of the single beds in the second bedroom was a sofa bed.
The windows in the bedrooms overlook a fairly busy road and are traditional single-glazed sash windows that aren't very good at keeping out the noise. I didn't have any problems sleeping personally, but if you're particularly sensitive to noise you might want to bring some earplugs.
- Charlotte (4/5): Not a beautiful place, a very basic place. - The flat was clean and close to the bus stop, restaurants and Sainsburys. Easy to get into with a key lock. The oven was clean and plenty of fridge room. There were plates, cutlery and glasses provided. The bedding and towels were clean. Hairdryers were provided. We came to London to attend the War of the Worlds immersive experience and the flat was on a good bus route to get there but would not recommend walking the whole way. Starting from our first impressions, the front door and hallway were very depressing to behold, a painted on number, dirty grey carpet and stairs that felt very unsafe. There was no Wi-Fi, the mobile service was really bad so I couldn't even use my hotspot or hear people on the phone. I attempted to contact the owner regarding the Wi-Fi but didn't receive a response until we had left the next day. The flat was really small, even though it was advertised to fit 5 people, there was barely enough room to manoeuvre in the kitchen area and the dining table was shoved right up against the wall so we had to pull it out to make use of it which blocked the entrance to one of the bedrooms. There was a mat on the floor in the kitchen which was a serious trip hazard, both my parents fell over on it. The shower was stuck on boiling hot and took some serious elbow grease to turn to a cooler setting and the floor was very slippery once you got out of the shower. The owner provided some bathroom amenities ie. toilet roll, hand wash but for some reason had bubble bath for in the shower? The mattresses weren't very comfortable and the towels provided were very small. Overall, for the price paid and the description given, I would say this place fell quite short of our expectations and we would only recommend to anyone looking for somewhere in a fix as we were. Far too basic to be considered for anything other than a place to rest one's head.
- Jan (8/5): Very good -
- Chelsey (9/5): Would come back again! - Nice location, value for money, very clean and comfortable beds Might have been our fault but couldn’t turn the heating down so was very very warm! Little noisy from traffic but wasn’t a surprise as we were on the road
- Carmen (8/5): Very good -
- Freya (9/5): Superb -
