- Rittick (9/5): - Location , cottage with views. It is something you dont expect unless you reach the place.
- Nancy (9/5): Location was quiet and peaceful and the pond from the cottage was a lovely view. - It was peaceful The bed was a bit soft and it isn’t a pocket spring which meant when partner moved the whole bed moved.
- Elizabeth (10/5): Fabulous! - What a great find! From the moment we drove up we were taken away with how beautiful it was.
The cottage itself was beautiful with a fire place and stunning master bedroom and bathroom which included a nice big tub.
Be definitely coming back ❤️ Nothing was perfect 🤩
- Chloe (10/5): - Light didn't work in the toliet
- Snowty87 (9/5): Superb -
- Shane (5/5): Alight no light in the toilet did nor work -
- Gavin (7/5): Very peaceful - The location is wonderful and very peaceful. Just a short walk to a running creek with beautiful surroundings.
Watching the ducks and birds in and around the pond from the balcony in the afternoon just beautiful. I think the owner needs to check the foundations as there is a lot of sway in the building. On the top floor when lying in bed it feels like you're on a boat.
- Phd (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sophie (7/5): Good - Absolutely divine location that was surrounded by lots of trees and local animals in close vicinity to the shops. Lots of hikes, beaches and waterfalls nearby to keep you entertained. The recently renovated bathroom was spacious and light which adjoined the cozy, comfy bedroom. Overall, very tidy and an enjoyable stay. Limited communication from the hosts prior to and during the stay. When our shower needed repairing we had to call the hosts directly after reaching out twice prior with no reply. The kitchen is very tired and in dire need of renovation with vinyl falling off of the cupboards and a dishwasher that leaves dishes dirty. The exterior of the property also needs some generous TLC with mix-match paint cracking everywhere.
- Fox (7/5): We loved our stay, the most perfect location, just needs some painting etc on the outside - The location was stunning It definitely needs some love, the outside needs some work, painting, etc
- Nathan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ardlie (8/5): overall, we had a beautiful stay and would definitely come back ❤️ It would be such a good location to have family down - The location was absolutely gorgeous, both the surrounding area, as-well as the renovated inside.
Both of us, and our two doggies adored our little trip to Plum Tree Cottage ❤️
Wildlife everywhere, with so many cute seats out in the surrounding property to have a cuppa with a view.
We very much appreciated the hospitality of the owners up the hill, who were able to help us with a couple snags in the road and were totally wonderful 🌸
The bath tub was luxurious and the connected bedroom felt so fancy for such a little cozy cottage
(PS: the little cupboard under the stairs is the best thing ever, see photo below 😂) -We did have an issue getting into the property, being sent the wrong code, but again that was easily fixed with the help of the lovely owner (not her fault as she doesn’t manage the stays)
-For any future guests, I will note that as gorgeous as the balcony and the view was, it is the same balcony as the cabin next door. The barrier between the two balconies is see through, just a little wooden fence, but we hung a towel on it to add a little more privacy.
There is a shared side of the wall indoors but we had no issues with noise or that being a problem ☺️
-Not necessarily a negative but I will also note that as the water is tank and shared between the cabins, you do need to be mindful if there are a lot of others in the cabins the hot water will eventually run out (we got a full bath out of it the second day when we got in the morning ☀️)
- David (7/5): Nice, but would have enjoyed the electric blankets as the house was cold. - Loved the location. And the bed was very comfortable. Milk for us already in the fridge. Interior very clean. Neither electric blankets worked and I couldn’t get the air conditioner in the bedroom to work. The lighting in the bathroom was poor. Not a fan of leather sofas, especially when it’s cold.
The interior could do with a bit of luxury. The exterior REALLY needs work.
- Rebecca (10/5): Wonderful, beautiful memory - Location , environment, warm welcoming little cottage, so very relaxing, beautifully renovated inside, look forward to next visit when the little gem has a facelift outside which they are working on Only thing , couple of utensils need replacing , spatula and tongs
- Neil (8/5): Very good -
- Ben (9/5): It was everything we thought it would be…. Amazing! - Clean and looked like the photos. Very Nice place! Wasn’t anything I didn’t like.
- Sophie (10/5): Exceptional - We loved the two storey cottage, the open bathroom and that there were board games provided. Beautiful scenery and secluded relaxing location.
