- Elena Liébana (6/5): Bien para estancia corta - Lo mejor del alojamiento fue la ubicación. Está prácticamente en el centro del pueblo. No se tarda mas de 10 minutos en llegar desde la calle principal. La playa esta en frente y los chiringuitos también. La comodidad de la cama bastante bien, era grande. Televisión con Netflix y buen balcón Hay varios puntos que comentar. No había ni un vaso/taza en el apartamento. Tuvimos que comprar dos tazas para al menos tomar café. Solo nos dieron dos toallas. No había toalla o alfombra para los pies al salir de la ducha entonces todo se llenaba de agua cada vez que nos duchábamos. Tampoco había fregona o escoba para poder limpiarlo. No ofrecieron jabón de ningún tipo, nada de gel o champú, fairy… a pesar de haberlos pedido. Las pareces estaban un poco sucias y daba la sensación de poco mantenimiento. El último día vinos bichos en la cocina, creemos que eran cucarachas.

- ANNA (8/5): Nice spacious apartment - The location was perfect, not too busy and just a walking distance to the centre. The host was very helpful and did respond very quickly. Because of some problems with the wi fi we're kindly offered the transfer to the airport for free . The beds were very comfortable and big . The air conditioning was working well. Unfortunately the towels weren't changed for the whole time of our 10 nights stay . The sofa in the living room was very uncomfortable while we watched TV.

- Sheila (10/5): Beautiful area, lovely people, great food and some amazing sights may my stay great. - The apartment was self-catering but there are plenty of small shops nearby stocking essentials. I didn’t plan to cook as there are plenty of bars, cafes, hotels and restaurants around the immediate area, but if you want to walk a bit, 20 minutes will take you to some of the highlights in Santa Maria. The views from the front of the property could be better, but the building and infrastructure work that’s going on is necessary to cope with increasing numbers of visitors.

The location is perfect, the studio as well as the rest of the building was perfectly clean and the host was also very helpful and kind. Because of the rain we couldn't leave the flat by the time of the check out and when we asked if it was possible to do the check out later they let us stay with no problem and they were very kind about it. We asked last minute so we appreciate a lot.

- andrea (1/5): NEFASTO. A EVITAR - En las fotos se veía perfecto al llegar … nada que ver BOOKING NO NOS AYUDO. Estuvimos diez días tratando de contactar con atención al cliente y nada . Tuvimos que quedarnos aqui diez dias. Un infierno, lo peor de las vacaciones Nunca más contrataremos a traves de booking estuvimos desamparados. Experiencia nefasta. A evitar. Estas son solo algunas de las cosas que hemos encontrado aqui. En primer lugar una plaga de cucarachas en durante los tres primeros dias, los chicos nos ayudaron y estamos agradecidos por eso, nos cambiaron a otro apartamento que también tenia cucarachas aunque menos. Pagamos por una cama extragrande y el otro apartamento la tenia normal. En ningun momento dijeron de reducir el precio, a pesar de que estuvimos más de tres días sin poder cocinar por la plaga de bichos y teniendo intolerancias para nosotros es ESENCIAL poder cocinar nuestra comida. Las almohadas y la ropa de cama huelen fatal. A rancio y humedad Estuvimos diez noches ahí, al quinto dia viendo que nadie venia a limpiar la casa y que llevabamos 5 dias con la misma toalla y sabanas nos quejamos, y vinieron a limpiar aun asi nada que ver con otros alojamientos de cabo verde, donde nos hemos hospedado por mucho menos dinero y donde la higiene ha sido maxima. Este lugar no cumple con los estandares minimos de higiene, No podiamos cancelar y booking tampoco nos ayudo, tuvimos que pasar ahi diez dias, sinceramente lo peor de las vacaciones Por 40 y pico euros la noche y no te dan LO MINIMO papel higienico, gel… y repito hemos estado en 4 apartamentos mas en nuestras vacaciones más baratos y donde nos han provisto de todo también sentir que estas en un lugar en el que te da asco meterte en la cama, y secarte con toallas pestosas.
- Diletta (1/5): Spiacevole - The only positive aspect was the location, being very close to Angulo Beach in Santa Maria. However, the apartment is located right next to the kitchen vent of the Art Café, and there was a constant strong smell of food at the entrance, which made the stay even more unpleasant. Here are the main issues we encountered during our stay: Towels: We had no proper towels for the entire stay. On the first day, only one shower towel was provided, and on the second day another was given but it was not clean. Despite repeated requests, we never received clean bath towels, hand towels, or small towels. Kitchen: The kitchen was missing essential utensils, such as knives, making it unusable. Room conditions: The double bed consisted of two single mattresses pushed together, which was very uncomfortable. Curtains and walls were stained, giving the room a poor level of cleanliness. Water system noise: Each time we used the tap, a loud noise started and continued for minutes. This noise was also triggered by other apartments, especially during the night, making it nearly impossible to sleep. Air conditioning: The remote control did not work, so the air conditioning could not be switched off. We had to sleep with it on all night, which was very unpleasant. Bathroom (most serious issue): On the second day, the toilet became clogged. We immediately reported it to the property owner. Although she claimed to have checked and fixed the issue, the problem was not resolved, and we were left without a usable bathroom for four days. This was unacceptable and ruined our holiday.
- Alvaro (7/5): - Está cerca de la playa y la manager fue amable y comprensiva con nosotros con un problema que tuvimos. Ni el ascensor, ni los aires acondicionados funcionaban correctamente. El alojamiento está en mitad de un descampado sin asfaltar y en una zona poco iluminada.

- teresa (6/5): - Ho soggiornato in questa struttura per 3 notti. Il mio appartamento era al secondo piano, l'ascensore c'è ma fuori uso, quindi costretti a salire le valige per due piani. L'appartamento era pulito, nulla da dire. Tuttavia ci sono stati donati solo due asciugamani doccia, niente tappeto per il bagno e questo ha reso l'uso della doccia un allagamento continuo. Niente asciugamani per il viso. 1 solo rotolo di carta igienica e nessun necessario per il bagno. I due asciugamani già appesi in bagno e il dubbio che fossero dei clienti precedenti mi è venuto. La posizione invece è buona, vicino alla spiaggia (dal mio balcone si vedeva il mare, spiaggia però non delle migliori) ma lontano dal centro. La proprietaria, credo donna, invece devo dire sempre pronta a rispondere ai messaggi. Consiglio la struttura però da tenere in considerazione che la spiaggia non è delle migliori ed è molto fuori dal centro

- Natalia (6/5): Sin mas - El alojamiento estaba bien para pasar unos dias cerca del centro Eramos 3 y no habia equipamiento para 3 (no habia almohadas, sabanas, toallas para 3) y en cuanto a limpieza olia raro. El primer dia pedimos que al menos nos trajeran una almohada porque una tuvo que dormir sin almohada y ni nos contestaron. La luz del baño es demasiado floja y faltan espejos.
- Silvia (3/5): Experiencia muy desagradable - El wifi, funcionaba muy bien y la tele también. Realmente el apartamento no estaba mal, era completo. Según llegamos, a las 8 de la tarde, la cama estaba sin hacer, no había sábanas ni toallas. Escribimos al dueño para decírselo y apareció al rato con unas sábanas mojadas diciendo que la chica de la limpieza no había hecho su trabajo. Sería así, pero tuvimos que hacernos la cama nosotros porque en ningún momento se ofrecieron ellos, las sábanas estaban mojadas (además tuvimos que volver a llamarles porque no eran de esa cama y nos trajeron otras más mojadas aún), las toallas también, nos había tenedores, no papel higiénico, ni estropajo, ni jabón para lavar… nada. Es como si hubiesen dado un repaso rápido al piso sin acomodarlo. Nos dejaron un colchón sobre la cama que no era de ahí y tuvimos que retirarlo, daba asco. Las almohadas olían fatal. En fin, bastante mejorable la gestión. Por cierto, el ascensor no funcionaba y no lo avisan. Sin duda me parece una estafa de sitio, no me quedaría en ese alojamiento habiendo otros tan buenos en Santa Maria y por el mismo precio.

- Birgit (2/5): - Das Meer war nicht weit entfernt. Leider war unser Schlüssel nicht im Kästchen,wir kamen um Mitternacht mit Taxi an und der Schlüssel Nr.6 fehlte. Zufällig kam die Nachbarin,holte ihren Mann,nachdem ich um Hilfe gebeten habe. Das wir 1,5 h am Meer schlafen mussten,total geschafft nach langem,späten Flug. Aber man entschuldigte sich und wir bekamen 1.30 Uhr dann Zimmer Nr 7.. das war zwar noch nicht sauber gemacht,aber wir hatten ein Bett zum Schlafen 😴

Frente a un gimnasio en la playa. Buena comunicación con el anfitrión y buen wifi. La playa que hay enfrente es de rocas pero no tardas más de 10min a una mejor y al paseo principal de tiendas y restaurantes. Hay muchos sitios con música en directo.

- TOM (7/5): Reasonably priced stay in a spacious apartment - Spacious self catering studio with balcony and good, clean hot water shower. The block is at the eastern end of town but less than a 10-minute walk to the main centre and there are several beachfront restaurants and minimarkets just a few minutes stroll away. Reasonably priced overall - the nearby host was chatty, generally helpful and fluent in English..... The Art Kafe downstairs serves good food at reasonable prices though apparently gets very busy in high season. Hmmm....noisy, longer term ground floor residents playing music, loudly chatting and revving quad bikes, sometimes at all kinds of random hours... The kitchenette, with its fridge and hotplate, was mostly sufficient for my unadventurous catering needs, but a microwave would have been a handy addition, as would a dish scrubber and mop/cloths/brush,, since Sal's lovely sand soon gets everywhere......
- Margaux (9/5): Très bonne adresse - Chambre au premier étage spacieuse et confortable avec un petit balcon très apprécié. Agréable de pouvoir faire le petit déjeuner avec la cuisine intégrée et les petits marchés à quelques minutes seulement. Accueil sympathique et l'hôte est disponible rapidement pour nos questions. Le ménage a même été fait durant notre court séjour! A 5 minutes de la mer même s'il faut pousser un peu plus loin pour se baigner. La salle de bain et la cuisine manquent un petit peu d'équipement (tapis de douche ou linge pour la vaisselle) mais rien de dramatique. Un peu excentré.

- Gilgor (9/5): The apatment was big and exeeceded my expatation, with friendly host. - Arrived in the night but easy to open the key box. The apartment was big and spacious had all the utility i needed. The host was great and friendly, easy to talk with. Quiet place away from the main street, but yet near enough to walk to in in 5-10 minutes, and just 3 minutes walk to the beach. For all of you who go there and love dogs, buy some dog food and give it to the host, she gives it to the dogs near by :) Dogs that have owner but the owner doesn't give the proper food. Would be great if people helped out, thanks :-D It should be a duster in the apartment since Sal is a dusty place. Miss having a bar soap for the sink, didn't need to be anything fancy, just plain little bar soap. I arrived in the night and didn't have that with me.

- Raquel (3/5): - La ubicación y que era un apartamento espacioso Hemos venido tres amigas de vacaciones a Cabo Verde y nos hemos quedado dos veces en el apartamento, porque en medio viajamos a otra isla, y la primera vez nos encontramos con dos toallas, una de ellas mojada y solo cama y utensilios para ello para dos personas, por lo que la tercera persona tuvo que dormir en el sillón sin abrigo, bajera de sábana ni almohada, porque al llegar de madrugada, no pudieron contestarnos a los mensajes. Cuando llegamos la segunda vez nos encontramos lo mismo, una sola toalla en este caso y cama y utensilios de cama para dos, llamamos y nos trajeron todo. En el baño, la parte de la ducha están los bordes de los azulejos negros. Las "mantas" que nos dieron y las almohadas a parte de estar muy viejas están muy sucias, con muchas manchas. Nos pusieron un rollo de papel higiénico para cinco días y cuando pedimos uno nos dice que en dos horas nos lo traería y no apareció nadie con el papel. Así que lo único positivo que tenemos que decir es la ubicación que tiene este alojamiento. We're three friends who came to Cape Verde on vacation and stayed in this apartment twice, because we traveled to another island in between. The first time, we found two towels, one of them wet, and only a bed sheet and two pillows for two people. So the third person had to sleep on the couch without a bed sheet nor a pillow because they couldn't answer our messages when we arrived in the middle of the night. When we arrived the second time, we found the same thing: only one towel and a bed sheet. We called, and they brought us everything. In the bathroom, the edges of the shower tiles are black. The "blankets" they gave us and the pillows, besides being very old, are very dirty and with stain. They gave us a roll of toilet paper for five days, and when we asked for more, they told us they would bring it in two hours, but no one showed up with them. So, the only positive thing we have to say is the location of this accommodation.

- Sarah (9/5): Really felt like home at the property! Denise the manager is so warm, kind and helpful and made us feel right at home!! - Lovely modern bright apartment! Great views of the sea. Modern, contemporary like new furniture and deco. Big large balcony. Brilliant Air-con in living area and bedroom. Very comfortable living and a few local shops close by! About 10 minutes walk into main Santa Maria strip. Dog friendly! Maybe could have had some cleaning equipment in the room like brooms and mops and we would be bringing in sand daily and the balcony could collect of dust from the wind. Cleaner came twice a week and manager always provided things if needed.
- de Korte (10/5): - Super chill & laid back place to stay with wonderful facilities, a great balcony and a kitchen with everything you need! Owner is always willing to help with any questions, and it's located in a very nice side of the town away from the super busy areas. There is a great cafe next door that does breakfast, lunch and dinner and a couple wonderful bars down by the beach just 2 minutes away. Highly recommend if you want to steer clear of the tourist resorts in Santa Maria! Not to mention the incredible price!

- Agnes (4/5): Pourrait être largement mieux… - L’emplacement est idéal ! Nathalia la femme de ménage est vraiment géniale et très gentille elle est passée à deux reprises durant notre séjour. Quant à la personne qui gère les lieux Armez vous de patience et si elle ne répond pas à vos messages ne soyez pas étonnée. Je trouve cela désolant de confier un établissement à une personne qui fume autant de weed donc très souvent à côté de la plaque. Il y a de la moisissure dans la salle de bain, la clim ne fonctionnait pas, j’ai demandé un balai à plusieurs reprises qui n’a jamais été fourni. Ce qui me paraît évident d’avoir un balai à disposition étant donné le cadre (plage =sable). Pas de tapis de bain ! La porte de douche étant défectueuse la sol était gorgée d’eau à la moindre douche ! Une forte odeur de moisissure/humidité dans tous l’appartement.

- Wouter (8/5): Good value of money :) - The location of the apartment is great. Close to Angulo Beach (must visit) and a short walk to central Santa Maria. Communication with the host was perfect and she responded very quickly at any time of the day. Big thank You! The Apartment itself is very comfy and has all the basic ammenties. Waterpump, but you get used to the noise ;)

- Joosep (8/5): Reccomended! - Check-in and Check-out were easy and flexible, we were able to drop out bags in the corridor of the building before check-in time, and although without supervision, all good. We were also able to check-out later than required so it was great. Liked the location and visual interior/exterior of the place, it's close to the seaside and in a less busy area, also great if You wanna be more away from the crowds, tourists and sightseeing hotspots and closer to locals and less visited places (outdoor gym, kitesurfing beach). Hot water boiler was bigger than in other similar cost places we stayed. Rooftop apartment had plenty of room, 2 cozy balconies and netflix. Kitchen utilities could have been better, also basic ingredients were missing (salt, pepper, sugar, oil, dishwashing liquid). Cooking pan looked horrible, so we bought new one and host made discount on that, so overall the host was flexible in correcting the negative sides. What me missed was also a microwave or oven (it had a stove but not the oven part) and water kettle so we used pot to cook tea water, but seemed that only 1 stove place out of to was working so had to do 1 thing at a time. Toaster was not working.
