Guest Reviews
- Donna (10/5): -
- Nik (6/5): Overal was alright, clean room, etc just a few things had to work out - Was nice and high Windows little dirty, no visitor book so had no idea where go to get food etc , had limited access facilities, one pool only not top pool as can be see in photos, had no clue where the facilities where as no information pack , no extra blankets ,
- julie (6/5): location and view nice but a few thinkg a bit average and for the price a bit disappointing - not to bad to collect keys but not sure teh parking information was very easy to work out/ the bed in bedroom 3 almost unusable
1/2 a dish cloth in the kitchen was very cheap looking
couch not very comfortable
no vaccuum to clean even if we are there for a week
only 1 key available yet room sleeps 5 so very annoying to enter and leave property, had to be very organised or wait for others to get in and out of property and the pool gym area as well, very annoying
the dishwasher only washed properly if we used the 4+hour cycle, the 2+ hour cycle didnt wash properly so maybe the dishwashe needs a service or check
- Nguyen (7/5): Brissy Skytower Review - I like the view - Small 3rd bedroom
- bigger dining table
- Heidi (10/5): -
- Graeme (7/5): - Location and view was good
Ensuites were nice Received an email 2 days prior to staying asking for $300 deposit
Was not able to reply to emails as they were from no-reply mailbox
Key pick up was from a quicky-mart up the road from the building, directions were tad confusing
Couldn’t contact the host during issue when picking up keys as their phone line was crossed
Only issued 1 x room key and 1 swipe card for building entry/lifts which was annoying with 5 adults staying in the 3 bdrm apartment
3rd bedroom was extremely small. Just enough room for a single bed. No room for luggage. A/C didn’t cool room that well and no ceiling fan so door had to be left open
Seating was limited to 3 seater couch or use dining table chairs
- Christina (10/5): -
- Peter (10/5): What a fantastic apartment, we really enjoyed the location and surrounding attractions and cafes, -
- Phil (8/5): - Would have liked a second swipe card and key
- yinyan (10/5): -
- mel (7/5): Great views in a very convenient location - Amazing views in great location. Main and second bedroom very comfortable. Check in process needs to be simplified and would be helpful to have a second set of keys when providing accommodation for 5 people.
3rd bedroom not fit for purpose/code. No window or skylight and bed like a wooden plank. More like a cupboard.
- Renay (7/5): - Location and price No mirror for dressing, needs hooks in bathroom to hang towels and hand towel
- Anastasia (10/5): -
- Haylee (10/5): -
- Chris (1/5): -
- Philip (10/5): -
- Vicki (7/5): -
- Jane (10/5): We loved the fact that it was walking distance to the shops and our concert, I would recommend most definitely - It was clean comfortable lovely bathrooms and the view was amazing The bed was too hard in the kid size bedroom
- Gavin (7/5): - Views The third bedroom is too small and that mattress is way too hard.
- Roger (8/5): - Location Complicated check in, only one sofa, only one key
- Shelley (7/5): Nice enough view, but would spend more for a better apartment for Riverfire. - Great location, handy shops downstairs, bag of ice in the freezer was handy, clean and well appointed. Window didn’t work, windows dirty, wrong side of the building for river fire, self-check in process and parking was a major pain (would know more if I stayed there again, but wouldn’t).
- Maureen (8/5): Accomodation was too small for a family of 5. - Was central to transport It only had the bare necessities. Only had one couch which only seated 3 persons and that was squashy. Kitchen only had the bare necessities.
- Nicole (10/5): Amazing!! - Nice view and close to everything!! Very comfortable for our family mini vacation Nothing
- Nicole (6/5): - Location was great, enjoyed the view. beside the so-called 3rd bedroom/study, the rest of the apartment was great, spacious, clean and homely. 3rd bedroom was a small study with a single bed in it. For the price of a "3-bedroom apartment", which it wasn't, I felt it was overpriced. As for information regards parking, lobby entry and lifts was confusing along with returning of the keys. When booking this apartment, it did not state it was an Airbnb, which I would have not booked.
- Sunita (4/5): Was for 1 night as my sister was moving with her children to Canada 🇨🇦 the next day - couldn’t even sit on lounge it was - The view & level was amazing I didn’t realise it was an Air BnB, I booked apartment through Booking.com - couldn’t get into reception area to access Dropbox & card to get in 😡Security had to help & they were very helpful
- Grant (10/5): Excellent accommodation while we were attending a conference at the Brisbane Convention Centre. - Excellent location and excellent views - more than we expected! Could of benefitted from having another couch, given that it's a 3-bedroom place, but that's a minor point.
Carpets are quite stained, but again, didn't affect our stay.
- Caroline (9/5): -
- Jason (9/5): Breathtaking - The apartment was great and the views were remarkable. The single bed in the study was very firm.
- Christopher (9/5): City stay - Close to everything in CBD. Views are amazing. Modern facilities. Helpful service. The spare room single mattress is very hard. I like a soft mattress.
- Samantha (3/5): Good location, nightmare to check in. Poor amenities. - Location Check in was a nightmare. You have to find somewhere to park the car… then go get the key from inside the building which hadn’t been activated so we couldn’t get into the car park initially, then we couldn’t get into the building, it was a nightmare. Took 50 minutes to get into the property. Could not find the car parking spot & it was taken when we eventually found it. The numbers are random. If you are travelling alone it would have been worse. No bread knife or chopping board. 3 large plates…there were 5 of us…One mirror in the bathroom - that’s all.
- Benjamin (9/5): Superb -
- Chris (10/5): Exceptional -
- Shane (9/5): Yes I would recommend people to stay there if only for the views. - The views of the city magnificent. Very comfortable. It was very hard at first to understand the keys set up and then the parking was another nightmare
- Matthew (8/5): Would stay again, great location and many more positives than negatives - Fantastic unit close to everything comfortable well laid out. Third bedroom isn’t air conditioned and we only had one key for five people which made it hard to come and go.
- Grant (8/5): Very good - Fantastic location. Our overall stay was fantastic. Some constructive criticism would be to have more comfortable seating within lounge area to enjoy the amazing views. Property accommodates up to 5 people but a couch for 3.
Access instructions to property needs a little tweaking and some clear instructions as to where to dispose of rubbish.
- Lynette (5/5): The location was perfect. We didn’t really eat our meals at property as distinct lack of crockery et - Location was excellent. Simpler instructions to obtain the key - not “links” 😡 Fortunately for us, a lovely receptionist in the adjoining hotel area came to our rescue- after we had spent almost an hour trying to get keys!
Ensuite shower blocked. They did get someone to look at that - thank you. There were no tea towels available- I basically had to beg to get one supplied- said it was not on provisions listing and anything like that was extra cost! It was supplied when they came to clear drain.
There was a damage deposit required which I paid approximately 2 weeks before scheduled arrival. As requested, I sent a photo of the payment receipt on the day I paid. Then I kept getting reminded that I needed to pay damage deposit. I replied that it had been paid. The day before our arrival I received the same message again! Feeling concerned I telephoned and fortunately for me, the lass that answered did seem to understand how upset I was & promised to look into it and get back to me - which she did. I then had to get assistance to send screenshots (something I don’t do) etc and finally I received a link for key access.
- Follows (9/5): Outstanding place to stay - The rooms were comfortable, the lobby was immaculate, the view was beautiful and the staff were helpful. The aircon took some time to cool the place down during the day but after it was cooled it remained that way efficiently.
- Dean (5/5): Passable -
- Margaret (7/5): Good -
- Leah (8/5): Great location in the heart of the city - If you want a city stay this location is brilliant. The apartment was a good size for our family of 5. The views are open and it's a short walk to lots of transport options. It also has a carpark which is gold in the city. I don't know how I would've gotten the keys if I was by myself with the kids. I stayed in the car (you need to try to find a space on a busy city street) while my husband got out and went in search. It wasn't easy but ok if you follow the directions step by step. Try to avoid rush hour for key collection if you can.
- Disturbedmephitt (3/5): View was fantastic but overrated hotel, won’t be returning anytime soon. - The view. The location. Not many shops around. Hard to access or find hotel, keys, room. Elevator instructions were hard to follow.
If I didn’t get there when reception was open I wouldn’t have been able to access the mail room to collect keys. No wifi to get service on phone. Limited shops and services around within walking distance.
- Clarissa (9/5): Superb -
- Blake (8/5): Very good -
- Helen (9/5): Enjoyable great location. Modern sparkling accom - Lovely light and spacious apartment fantastic views Getting into it. Very complex instructions for keys and mailbox etc
- Mandy (8/5): Location was great, just lacking a few finishing touches in the apartment. - Excellent location with amazing city views. Very clean. Check in very confusing, unable to access the lobby without a swipe card. Had to ask a nearby reception to assist with access. Took ages to find our allocated car park space and almost 2 hours to get in our apartment! The single bedroom was very small with no wardrobe. There was a cupboard near the doorway close to the room, but no hanging rail, so no use at all. Seating very limited with only a three seat sofa and 4 dining chairs. Plenty of space to accommodate a couple more comfy chairs.
- Chan (9/5): Satisfactory -
- Mel (1/5): do not book - couldn't even check in cause they wouldn't answer their phones everything
- Melanie (7/5): Good location and view, could be improved - The view and location. The size of the apartment was good but third bedroom tiny with a child's sized bed. The windows were dirty and the apartment finishings/decor were a bit dated and not luxurious. It wasn't very clean.
Communications to access the property were convoluted and difficult to interpret.
The carpark and lifts are appalling and dirty with broken doors.
- Jeanine (8/5): Overall we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. - The views if Brisbane were spectacular. Exceeded tourist attraction city views. Superb!
Excellent host communication. Friendly and helpful The bed in the 3rd bedroom was completely unusable. Thin futon type mattress over a slat bed. User had to sleep on the couch in the living area both nights.
- Rosemary (6/5): Pleasant - The apartment was very nice. Getting into the apartment and finding the correct carpark was a nightmare. the time it took us to settle into the apartment.
- Roslyn (9/5): Convenient and great value - Amazing views and such a convenient location! The host was very responsive when needs arose. I would happily stay here again. I would like different height pillows to choose from.
- Alison (7/5): Family get together - Location and view. Good size apartment. Serious hassle getting the keys for after hours check in. Only one sofa for five adults.
3rd bedroom is tiny with no windows!
- Dion (9/5): Superb -
- Angela (9/5): Superb -
- Harpreet (7/5): Good -
- Mark (8/5): Fabulous apartment but facilities could be improved - The actual apartment was lovely. Great local& fabulous views. Lack of communication! It was a bit of a mystery gaining access to the property & there was no one to ask for help. As visitors to Brisbane it would’ve been good to have some information re local attractions & nearby facilities. No milk in fridge, we ran out of toilet paper, 3 coat hangers…amenities left a lot to be desired!
- Linda (9/5): Very enjoyable stay -
- Gillian (9/5): Fantastic - except for the parking issues - The room and views were fantastic, very clean and in a great location, The parking procedure was horrendous.
You have to park out the front of the building to access the parking keycard, so even to get a parking space to do this is a pain. At this point you have already gone past the access to the parking area, so you have to go around the block again to get in. We were given a numbered allocated parking space, which was used by someone else the entire time. They need to simply the parking process.
- Shyarna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ross (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sharon (7/5): Good - The location was very central. It is close to everywhere.
The apartment was of good size.
Wen was quick to reply to inquiries.
Kitchen has basic stuff provided. The checkin process was bit complicated.
The request of $300 deposit before checkin was annoying- never had this situation privously, not feeling comfortable.
The light was too weak in the lounge area.
The towels are old and hard.
- Liz (6/5): Pleasant - Nice and clean and view was nice from the lounge . Great for one couple nights It’s challenging to have to find a lock box to find keys to find the car park.all quite stressful .
The two middles rooms have no windows so it really is a view for one bedroom.
- Jane (9/5): Superb -
- Wendy (10/5): Exceptional - the management was very accomodating. very good communication
- Miroslav (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mcintyre (9/5): Excellent apartment. Very comfortable. I'd come back and stay again. - The first 2 bedrooms are lovely and big. The beds are super big and super comfortable.
Lovely tidy apartment. Very much enjoyed the stay.
Hosts were fantastic. Were prompt with the replies to any and all queries.
Parking is included with the apartment which is very easily accessible. The 3rd bedroom had a single bed that was rock hard. The kids took turns in that room and slept on the floor.
Accessing the keys were in a lock box, but you don't have access to the lock boxes until someone comes out, but that is fairly frequently.
The info was in a drop box. I found this a bit of a challange trying to access the info after arriving after a full day travel to get there.
The owners were extremely helpful, just found the process or accessing the keys and returning them difficult. But the apartment was good enough I'd rebook.
- Soriano (9/5): Excellent location and view. - The height and the view Asking us to pick up crumbs on the carpet when there is no vacuum.
Dusty surface
Can’t use washing machine because dryer is broken.
- Rasha (8/5): Amazing views - good cbd location - Great location a street back from botanical gardens. Easy to walk to many places
Amazing views
Neat and tidy Third bedroom very small but does the trick with single bed if that’s what’s needed
- Dylan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marie (10/5): Enjoyable - Location NA
- Sue (5/5): Nice view, good location, a real pain to access and the in apartment facilities are light on, no coffee … - Location, view, good size, new Difficult to access, no coffee or tea facilities, no top sheet on bed, only one three seater sofa for a house that sleeps 5.
The single bed is hard as a rock.
- Sasha (7/5): Great place in the CBD - Lovely apartment, very spacious with wonderful views and great to have parking included. A few things that would take this place to amazing are:
- more cutlery and crockery
- instructions on how to access the pool, where to put rubbish/recycling
- basic cleaning equipment (dish brush, paper towels)
- Lisa (8/5): Apartment is beautiful. View stunning. - View from the room was spectacular. Check-in and check-out process. Could not get to mail box to collect key without a swipe card. Email of photos of keys left in locked room on departure kept bouncing.
- Sophie (9/5): Superb -
- Paul (9/5): Wonderful apartment. Wow factor view. Very comfortable. - Very nice apartment and very spacious while well laid out. Love the fab view. Comfortable beds . Well equipped and few bits in kitchen which really help (salt, pepper, oil, foil etc). A little complicated access card, parking and lift system. Bit confusing to begin with but okay once done a couple times. Suggest printing or screen shot all instructions first, as no signal in key collection area.
- Melanie (10/5): Excellent place to stay!! - The apartment was beautiful NA
- Samantha (10/5): Exceptional - The place is amazing
