Guest Reviews
- Kristy (4/5): - The work going on loud banging, starting from 6:45am! All day above my room. No pay tv. Can’t hear anything or get rest. Complete waste of time booking it. Got nothing from it I needed it for. Ended up giving the last day & nights accommodation booked to a mate & I left
- Suzanne (10/5): -
- Katrina (5/5): Comfortable but not 4-star as advertised. - I had the spa bath apartment and it was ample size for myself. The spa bath was great. Second room I had after requesting a change was overlooking the golf course and it was beautiful facing the sunset in the evenings.
Restaurant downstairs does great food and coffees.
Plenty of underground parking at the time of year I was there but can imagine in summer it would get busy. Tradies were also using the carpark for the Reno’s being done.
Kitchen facilities were adequate with basic cooking utensils, pots and frypans. Dishwasher in room and large fridge (first room only had a small fridge and no dishwasher) Place is currently being renovated, woken up at 7.30am to heavy jack hammering which continued throughout the day. Had to wear nose cancelling headphones as it was exceptionally loud. I asked to be moved to another room, got one a level up and it was a little quieter. Later in the week it was more intermittent but still a bit noisy so not ideal for a peaceful holiday.
No room cleans, you have to ask for it and it’s only available if you’re staying longer than 2 nights.
Ask for room overlooking golf course as initial room I had overlooked the reception roof, so not very nice.
I think these must be privately owned units which are then let by hotel management when not in use as the two rooms I had had vastly different furniture and amenities. The place was clean but the furniture looked tired with paint peeling from the cabinets and the clothes hanger rusted.
Restaurant is only open for room delivery or pool service between 10am - 4pm
If you’re a smoker you have to go offsite across the road.
Only first couple of floors are “hotel” use, rest of building is residents only. So no option for a high floor if you’d wanted.

- Graham (8/5): - Brand new room, Pool area is great. Has Restaurant and Bar. Free undercover security parking.
Because they are renovating the room was a great price. When booking it was explained there could be some noise during day. Because of renovations restaurant had limited meals. Would have been handy if room had Microwave.

- Talor (8/5): Great place for a get - Nice place to stay Place was being renovated and was noisy the whole time , didn’t get to play golf because of the weather

- Terry (4/5): Noisey - Very nice Renovations noisey
Started at 8:24am, 6:45am!!, 8:36am
After that time couldn’t stay in my room till 5pm
- Carolyn (9/5): -
- White (5/5): The room was great, and at the moment the resort is having renovations.. - We did not have breakfast as the room was a 1 bedroom apartment . Self catering. The staff on reception were not approachable. It was like their guests were an inconvenience.
As we did not have a car the nearest bus stop was 1.7 kms away and the nearest shops about 2.5 km away by foot.
It would be great if they had a shuttle bus.
- Kate (8/5): Lovely stay would stay again. I loved the gym the most. - I liked that it was clean. It was quiet. The staff were really accommodating and nice. Would stay again. Is 20 to 25 minutes to travel anywhere to be able to do anything

- Heather (10/5): - THE WHOLE STAY WAS ENOYABLE AND RELAXING STAFF WERE LOVELY AND FACILITIES VERY NICE
- Julie (9/5): -
- Paul (5/5): Would possibly stay again when renovations are complete . - View Cost of restaurant and finding it to be a construction site ( not mentioned when booking )
- Als11able (8/5): served my needs very well. Thank you - peace
friendly cleaners who offered supplies without being intrusive at all. carpet in rooms. esp under fridge.
I did have some black hairs in my bathrm and balcony on arrival and the drain in the bathroom is very bathroom and nasty.

- Tara (9/5): Very affordable luxury getaway - Stayed in a brand new refurbished room on the ground floor. It was absolutely stunning. Loved the heated pool and laying in the sunshine in the afternoon was just pure luxury overlooking the gorgeous golf green. They are having a refurbishment of the downstairs restaurant so there is a little bit of disturbance and dust around at the moment, however it wasn't really a problem as we ate off the premises (even though they did still cater for guests with a great buffet dinner)
- Wimbus (9/5): -
- steven (9/5): - Great location Nd good price Nothing
- Madeline (8/5): Overall very clean, modern and comfortable. Will be a great hotel when the renovations are complete. - Very clean and modern, lots of amenities The hot water was not working on the first night of my stay
- Darren (3/5): Lacklustre Getaway - The mattress was comfortable. There were multiple cleanliness issues, which when raised with the hotel staff, were basically dismissed. Additionally, the website advertised a sports bar however we were told the sports bar had been closed for years.
- Ross (10/5): - Great location, modern facilities, friendly service and relaxed atmosphere. 👌 Facility was under renovation.
- Brendan (9/5): -
- Pam (10/5): - Lovely helpful staff. Everything was perfect really... all that I could think of was possibly a microwave in the suite and a guest laundry to use on site.
- Suzanne (10/5): -
- Kerri (9/5): Relaxing - Everything was neat and clean. A lovely place to stay. Pizza from the down stairs restaurant was fantastic. Renovations were a bit noisy but I'm looking forward to seeing it all when it's completed.
- Steven (8/5): -
- Helen (8/5): - Very clean - lots of outdoor terrace space. Resort being rennovated so dining options limited but options available were good and staff all lovely The lights by the pool were not working so swimming after dinner from 6:30 onwards was unsafe and my children were disappointed
- Monique (10/5): Our stay was fabulous. Staff were amazing and the lad who fixed our tv was a darling , loved staying there - The room was fabulous. Big and clean. Fab view over the pool and golf course. Awesome big bathroom Nothing I didn't like
- Lucinda (9/5): As above - All in all, everything was great. The pool was beautiful. The martinis were amazing. Service was lovely. Bed was comfy. Breakfast was DELICIOUS
Very clean and fancy looking. The bathroom had a funky smell.
- Samantha (9/5): - Staff were fantastic! Different foods on buffet each night.
- Bruce (9/5): - Lovely room with excellent view
- Sarah (10/5): Perfect for what I needed location , comfort and clean - Clean and location Couldn’t get wifi
- Ashlee (6/5): - Good location, good price, good amenities. Tv remotes didnt work, no foxtel even after letting reception know. Power leads sitting on floor not plugged in and appliances sitting there with no where to be plugged in like the bedside lamp. Couch was broken and aircon worked but could not change the temperature. Cleanliness was surface clean but dirty up close needing to wash bath before use.

- Karina (9/5): Fabulous location with a view and all the amenities you would need. - Fabulous resort feel and the pool was a lovely surprise, overlooking the golf course. Loved the fact that there was a cafe you could grab a coffee or snack. We had a great view from our balcony and it was wonderful to have the table and chairs so we could sit and eat our pizza (that we ordered from the restaurant downstairs) outside. The room was very tidy, had everything you'd need to eat in, if you wanted. Some terrific restaurants in the area but you need a car as the resort is quite tucked away. We would stay here again. Most of the time we were able to park underground, except one night when we arrived back a bit late and there were no spots inside but we were able to park outside.
- Crichton (6/5): -
- Caretta (7/5): -
- Kyran (8/5): Pelican Waters Resort is a perfect getaway accommodation for couples and families. - The room was spacious and exactly what we wanted for 2 people. The view from the closed-in balcony was perfect and very beautiful, especially during sunrise and sunset which also made it nice for stargazing at night. I also made special requests to add welcoming gifts in our room on arrival which they accommodated with a $30AUD chocolate and champagne package which was really appreciated. After hours check-in was also very smooth and easy to understand via the instructions communicated to us. It may have just been a lack of understanding of the instructions on our end, but the AC wouldn't stay set at the temperature that we wanted and would eventually drop to 18 every time. The drain inside our bathroom also had broken fragments so we placed a towel over it to prevent any accidents.
- Selma (9/5): -
- Connor (9/5): -
- Orla (3/5): Do not stay - Noise problems
Hotel runs at half speed
No management
- Rosie (3/5): - Comfy bed, spacious room Things missing no hand soap/ bath mat, TVs not functional.
- Cheri (3/5): -
- Wynetta (8/5): -
- keryn (10/5): Location was great - Fantastic location No restaurant facilities and no courtesy bus to go anywhere else
- Natalie (5/5): Just over average - Fridge in living room not in the allocated recess for a fridge. The lounge suite was the most uncomfortable and to low to the floor we have ever experienced.
- Olivia (8/5): -
- Marcella (10/5): - Everything
- Imelda Mel (4/5): - I liked the room , the size it's facilities with the exception of the patio door that didn't close . I didn't like the fact the patio door wouldn't and didn't close , it took maintenance person to attend the patio door then they closed it completely which was unsafe for fire safety therefore I requested they attend again which they did then it was open! All the time
Also on sat evening I decided to have dinner at waterlillies restaurant read the information in my room online menu looked lovely
Called at 6.30pm sat evening to make reservation for 7pm
When I went down to the restaurant I was advised it was a Thai or pizza buffet!!
No where did it say that staff at check in never mentioned it either
Resort is going through renovations and trying to function fully when obviously it can't.
I choose the Thai buffet the food was tepid with little or no meat in dishes maybe it had been eaten by all earlier guests no idea .
- peter (7/5): Pleasant - Location Tradies being on site at 6.00am
- Lorraine (8/5): - The venue was quite pleasantly situated. I really didn't like being woke by the smoke alarms going off at 2.30an. The fellow in the next room said that it has happened on his numerous stays.
- Michelle (8/5): Great value, quality room, great views! Would stay again - Absolutely beautiful location, great value and stunning pools There was nothing wrong with the property. They were just in the middle of renovations therefore dining wasn’t as good as I’m sure it will be once finished.
- Helen (9/5): Wonderful - Beautiful position Lovey & quiet shame about the renovation but it will be great when it’s all done
- Belinda (8/5): My stay was a very relaxing and trouble free stay - The pool was amazing, card entry to the lift made me feel save Variety of food
- Daryl (10/5): - The price & the beds were comfy Nothing
- Amanda (5/5): - Nice , clean, great pool great room Work in progress with workmen on site at 6am, so noisy wasn't mentioned upon booking 😑
As we were there for a couple nights holiday it wasn't the best experience being woken so early
- Denise (10/5): Very relaxing, quiet - Everything was fantastic
- Natalia (9/5): Fantastic stay and hotel only downfall ant's in my room everywhere - The hotel facilities, parking access and room space and bathroom. Ants everywhere in my room and bathroom i only stayed two nights or I would of asked to move quite disappointing everything else was great
- Kieran (3/5): Extremely disappointed in the whole experience. - Café staff were helpful and friendly. The noise of construction which on several days went on constantly for 14 hours, the lack of restaurant facilities, [ closed due to construction], which wasn't mentioned prior to arrival
Extremely disappointed in the whole experience, due to the fact as being carers for the elderly this trip required 6 months of preparation and saving.
- Wendy (10/5): Lovely resort presently being upgraded. - The room we booked was very well appointed with everything in working order and clean.
We loved that extra things were provided, like paper cups for the tea and coffee facilities.
We had the Thai buffet at the restaurant and that was excellent too. A little far from the beach, however that was to be expected for the price point.
- Marita (6/5): -
- Ed (8/5): -
- Abbie (8/5): Great value resort - Stayed for 1 night for a dance comp on sunshine coast. Price was very good and it was a 10 min drive to the dance venue. They had a heated pool my daughter enjoyed (she normally wouldn't swim in May but was very comfortable in the heated water). Comfy beds. I got a pina colada to the room which was made well. Coffee in the morning was also good. They had an onsite restaurant for breakfast but we ate in the room as we had an apartment. It was well stocked with essentials.
- Amar Rajeev (9/5): -
- Shrestha (8/5): - Location and ambience Cleaning specially dusting og lights, curtains.
- Mccarty (9/5): April getaway - The location and quiet Would have preferred room facing pool or golf course
- Dianne Kaye Michele (9/5): Recommended - The resort facilities are great; heated lap pool, gym, hairdresser, beauty salon, cafe/restaurant and a golf course too. Our room was very comfortable, roomy and clean with a lovely view of the pool area, golf course and surrounds. We checked in after hours and the process was well explained, simple and quick. The staff were friendly and helpful. We would happily stay again. I didn't like having to leave 😕
- Ashleigh (4/5): Beautiful resort but wish the room itself was cleaner and healthier to stay in - Staff were friendly (housekeepers & receptionist), beautiful views and pool. Carpark is easy to access during the day and unallocated which makes it easier. Downstairs coffee was great. The rooms were still really dirty and dusty (had to go over everything with a alcohol wipe). The resort itself is beautiful but the rooms are worn and outdated. So much black mould, especially in and around the aircon. You could smell the mould in the hallways and in the room. We had to sleep with the balcony door open because it was making us feel really sick and my husband was coughing throughout the night (which went away as soon as we left the hotel)
- Osborne (10/5): If the locations was closer to the Beach and town, it would be packed. Very well made venue - Everything went well
- natalia yosiany (9/5): -
- Ben (8/5): -
- Peter (4/5): Very average - Restaurant was partially closed. Not great food
- Medda (8/5): Jewish - All good Needs attention to details like scratches on walls ecc... But to be honest they're doing some renovations do that's pretty fair🤞🤞
- Sm Mostafizur Rahaman (10/5): -
- kristina (9/5): Value for money, good gym facilities, beautiful landscapes, free parking - The room was nice and the gym was great didn’t get to swim in the pool sadly We were happy with everything
- Guest (9/5): -
- Steven (7/5): - Enjoyed the gym Concrete drilling constantly from renovations, made it a not very relaxing stay
- Carolyn (9/5): -
- Summer (3/5): not the best. - aesthetically pleasing - no outside area not even a door out side or a window u can open even though it was advertised to have a private patio
- dirty pillows cases left on floor
- speakers randomly muffling
- construction starting at 7am
- John (8/5): Very happy with the our stay - Room was new. Bed was great. Lighting was good and TV was good. Over all happy. Toilet had a slow leak of water into pan. Bathroom had negative pressure when fan was on so when door was shut air was sucked from main room making a noise. Understand the construction ongoing but Restaurant menu was very limited.
- Julie (8/5): Very nice hotel. Beautiful outlook if you get rooms overlooking the pool. Staff lovely and generally the overall feel wa - Pools, cafe were great and rooms were well equipped. Staff were all lovely. The mattresses in a few rooms needed replacing. Quite soft and some springs could be felt.
- Andy (10/5): -
- Henry (8/5): I enjoyed it - My stay peace & quiet Restaurant
- Tarai (10/5): -
- DOMINIK (10/5): Relaxing and comfortable - Nice outlook and fully equipt
